    It hurt more than you would expect, dying that is, Nagisa couldn’t help but think it was kind of a rip off. He was here dying of a broken heart and it hurt him more than the rejection of his love. The physical pain of the cherry tree that was slowly growing in his lungs was almost more than he could bear. It was beyond painful,

   Who had broken his heart? It was no one in his class, he had never loved anyone his age. No, the one who had broken his heart was his mother. Now Nagisa loved his mother, not in a strange or unhealthy way, no he had loved her in the way any child loved their mother. Sadly she had never loved her son. 

   Nagisa had been hiding the agony for years, since he was roughly seven years old when he had hidden the pain from a tiny sapling, but now, seven years later, at age fourteen, he had come close to succumbing to his disease. 

  He had passed out during their assassination practices, apparently the flowers had started to bloom since he had been spitting out light pink flower petals, if it hadn’t hurt so much he would have laughed. The most iconic symbols of a short life were escaping him, the very things that cut it short.

  In the end, Nagisa did not mind dying, he did not mind agonizing pain. Nagisa did not a shed tear on his own behalf, what made him cry and scream on the unfairness of life was one thing he had seen the moment he woke up in his hospital bed being told he would be dead in a day or so.

  When Nagisa woke up he saw his best friend by his side, normally that would fill him with joy, but what made him cry was that when Karma coughed he saw little blue petals float to the ground.

OKAY, so for anyone who doesn’t know I have a theory where Karma was a child with a reallllllyyyyy messed up home life who is often left with intense feelings of loneliness. So, my thing is Okuda helping him get through that, in all her awkwardness Okuda is an incredibly sweet girl who would do anything to help her friends.On that note she is completely supportive of his hopes????? Like if he wanted to become a fucking fairy princess she is here for him, in the end she tries to keep encouraging him in a way his parents never did.Okuda and Karma are never gonna stop being friends, they still talk as often as possible and she is kind of a weird mix of sort of a little sister and kind of mom friend to him??Okuda dates someone and honestly Karma is ready to mcfuck them up the moment they hurt her it is actually kind of shocking how he gets so protective of her but she is someone he really cares for okayOkuda is actually p concerned over him when he is around his parents and will honestly try to get him out.Karma dates someone and Okuda is so chill about???
