Fionna and Cake has such a special place in my heart. I remember when i was a kid and started having health issues with my stomach and lungs for the first time, I spent a lot of time home sick from school. In between doctor appointments my mom bought me the season 3 adventure time DVD that had the original fionna and cake episode on it. Spent a lot of days watching that entire season on repeat while i was sick on the couch.
I always loved Fionna, it was the FIRST time i could ever say i saw a character on tv i could relate to. She was around my age, a bit chubby, just wanting to go out and go on adventures and save princes n such lmao.
Watching their new show as an adult hit different. Its like she grew up with us. 🩷

lmao i logged onto tumblr to see what was the last drawing i posted here, only to see this post and im laughing my ass off because 2023 started off with me getting in a car accident and ive been fucked up ever sinceee lmaoo
i legit only drew a little bit in january, then stopped drawing until this month (may)
I got in a car wreck, broke my toe (unrelated to car accident), busted my shin (also unrelated to car accident) had to buy a new car out of pocket and been fighting insurance for the past few months.
Literally my life has been nothing but work, eating, sleeping. Getting up in the morning, going to work, eating, sleeping. Getting up in the morning.....
So uhhh yeah fuck 2023 so far this year can suck my dick
2022 reviewed: it's a biggin'
Hi, ive started a very small reaccuring trend on my tumblr to come in and talk about, like how im doing, irl and in art and such. Goals for 2023, how 2022 went. Etc. Etc.
Im here to say 2022 has been a pretty challenging ass year but its been for the better.
I graduated college with my A.A., i moved out of my parent's house into an apartment and moved across the country, i own my own car, i got a really nice job that i like, im not miserable every god damn day. I started building my own wardrobe. I get to buy things i like without someone breathing down my fucking neck and talking down to me all the time. Im actually building some self-confidence.
Now here's the kinda rough part.
I think im kind of like, not giving up on art, but im practically very retired and havent been drawing a lot like ive said i would.
Im still picking up a pen every now and then, i draw. But i stopped pushing myself and i stopped setting goals for art and such. Idk if i even want to go into an art career anymore given how fuckin catastrophic the art world is right now. Im looking into other categories for a full time career. We'll see. Maybe ill wind up going back to college lol.
Idk. Overall ive felt better than previous years. Therapy helped a lot, as well as being on my own and no longer being a 21 year old constantly being spoken to like a dumb teenager at home. Ive finally built some god damn confidence to just be a human being in the world. So, things are getting better. Im trying to get myself out there more and make friends, be more confident in my online presence and such. I still struggle a lot with anxiety and overall low confidence, but its slowly getting better.
Here's to 2023 🥂

Heyo, hey, y’all still here? Hi.
So, end of 2022, im still a little fuzzed up because I remember I made this blog back in 2019 when i started drawing sims fanart for the first time, that was awhile ago.
I’m not sure about the future of this blog, it went from sims fanart to genshin fanart, then just up and fuckin died. so.
