(Warning! There may be many mistakes. English is not my first language.)
I'm currently following the release of the Jinx manhwa. Honestly, I would have never even looked at it if this character hadn't appeared.
As a person who has read more than one work, I immediately realized that this guy would make a total douche. So it turned out to be, because the work does not claim from the beginning to something unique, and the author herself stated this. Therefore, it is not something bad.
But what is bad, purely in my opinion! It's that after noticing the audience's obvious interest in the character, the author in the new chapters began to simplify his drawing so much that it would maximally alienate those who liked him. A literal example:
Frames from chapters 47 through 49. The first shots of Junmin's appearance and presentation to us, the readers. (I took and dynamic shots that you can then see the difference).
Frames from the last two chapters.
And you could say that the drawing is simplified because of the dynamics going on in the chapters. But here's a couple of shots of Jaekyung from the same two chapters. It's perfect, hair to hair, even with a battered face. Every single strand is drawn.
Some will say "but he's the main character and all this criticism isn't appropriate". Maybe. But if you read chapter 49, where we are shown their greeting before the fight, you can see that Junmin's drawing is still normal. And they're on par with Jaekyung in terms of drawing.
Because of all this I make only one conclusion, that the author either did it unintentionally because of possible recycling and banal fatigue. So she only emphasized the important things. Or it was done on purpose, so that readers do not forget who the main characters are. If it's still the second option, it's sad. Let's be honest, you can find characters like Jigen in every other manhwa:
1. A clam boy;
2. Kiss me, liar;
3. Limited run;
4. Jinx.
This is in no way a bad thing! No way! No one can create something 100% original, and it's no one's fault. As an artist myself, I understand this very well. Especially I am not blaming the authors in the example. It's just an example.
But if the author managed to create a character that looks many times brighter than the main character, then there is no need to make him a gray mouse in the future. After all, readers are not idiots either, and see the changes. Also, there will always be a rat like me who will eat shit for a mistake.
I made minimal edits to a few shots. I made edits based ONLY on shots from past chapters.
In the end I want to say, Junmin is not the main character, much less a positive hero. And it's the manhwaka's right to make his drawing easier or not. I'm just an outside critic who came just as much because of the beautiful shell, which I don't deny. Just as many people love Jaekyung looks and forgive him for all the bad things he's done, I love the bastard's looks.

I'm back! Currently creating my own little story based on the Bayonetta universe. I created a character specifically for it. And for the sake of my simple plot I made Loki from the second part of the game a grown up guy. Basically my little plot revolves around the sequel to the second part of the game. But it can also be interpreted as events from another reality, especially since thanks to Bayonetta 3 we know that there are many alternate universes with the same characters, but with different stories. A little later I want to competently compose a biography for my original character. For now, black and white sketches of the images of these two.

The scorching heat of Voldemort's presence was closing in. He sensed something.
Severus thought hurriedly, fearfully. He dared not speak or use the spell. They had to be invisible. How to calm Potter down? How to stop his breathing and his heart?
The Dark Lord was here, entering their corridor. Heat burned painfully at the back of Severus' neck.
Severus leaned in, tilted his face up and kissed Potter. He pressed their lips together, firmly, strongly, insistently. And Potter froze. His breath hitched, his heart stopped in shock. They stared at each other, green mingling with black, trapped in the moment.
Potter blinked. Severus snapped out of it. And realized that the Dark Lord was disappearing around the corner; when had he passed them?
He slid his mouth down Potter's cool cheek to his earlobe.
"Gone," he breathed.
