How does it work… I don’t understand my brain.
When I read MHA before joining a fandom I just assumed for myself that Bakugo and Midoriya destined for each other. There was something that’s tells me they must be together no matter what (platonically or romantically doesn’t matter).
But now, when I saw so many fan art and doujinshi and many other things I’m doubting myself. When I saw them together on fanart I just can’t convince myself that it CAN BE REAL. How it work… I’m so frustrated with my brain. Help…

Maybe I’m reading too much into it but… AFO said that he couldn’t “feel” others presence cause Midoriyas overcame them.
Is that mean that embers of One For All are still alive in him? Like with All Might when he pass OFA he still could use it for a little bit longer before it goes out?
It’s just a imagine in my head that with second breath (or hundred breath, I really don’t know how he still consciousness, he’s crazy lunatic and I love him), so, with help from new comers he can gain new strength and, if it possible, use Black Whip as his arms and fight against AFO.
Or, if it’s not possible to use additional quirks, maybe super strength aka crystalline power of OFA is still be their.
Horikoshi-sensei, you say that you love drawing hands, is that mean you somehow stop liking Izukus hands?! Poor kid need his break. Something told me that he ain’t gonna get them back.
Tomura, are you really gone?

I know many of us rewatching anime series right now, so am I
And there were cut shorts in s2 opening with characters vulnerable moments, like
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Uraraka and Yaoyorozu in their failed performances on sport festival.
And then we can see Bakugo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And his vulnerable moments were Midoriya trying to help him. It’s just, little gremlin don’t think he weak when he fall off log or when sludge guy captures him, no he think he weak, cause Izuku (the weakest of all people that he knows) wanna help him.
Just how much adults screwed up his vision of strength and weakness that he think that “if you need help, you’re weak”. It’s a failure in education and upbringing to make a child think that in my opinion.
I’m so glad he’s more mature and understanding in current chapters. His character development one of my favorite.

I’m beg Tomura to decay AFO from inside out. Don’t give up on your dream Tomura! Be the hero that you want to be.
It’s a shame that leaks go wild this week, I will patiently waiting for official translation.

Okay, okay, if IF if Izuku lost both his hands … than Katsuki can’t hold it, obviously. So, they must hug! Like Katsuki gonna hug him, full body hug, squishing and tight to bones.
May they have a hug? Please

Don’t tell me that Tenko was quirkless… and that’s HIS farther do IT for him!
Don’t tell me, please, omg, Kotaro Shimura destroyed his family to the core
That’s was AFOs plan all that long, don’t tell me, please… I never hate someone so much before…
Tenko, sweetheart, you are a hero, you fight for them, and I believe, you destroy AFO once and for all afo freaking swallows him, spit it out! Spit it out!
Izuku, dear, you did so well! Hang on a little longer! You can do it! Everyone believes in you, you are the best hero in all time. Not because you are strong or smart, because you are a believer, you can see good in hearts where everyone else see only darkness…

You have a good point here. Yes, humans speech is a complicated ability which cannot be truly discovered without helping another human. Especially reading, cause it might be very difficult to learn how to read if you’re not used to talk. Well, the narrative says that Yoichi can’t read in his teenager years, so they have delated development.
But then again, they lived on city streets, not in the wild. So they were surrounded with people not animals. I’m not a anthropologist nor a linguist nor a ethnographer, but I believe that Horikoshi-sensei have some clues about his story.
Than again, it’s a not exactly normal reality, the story have a powers that not exist in our real life, at that point. So, if I can assume, AFO was incredibly adaptive to their environment. Maybe he stole some quirk that gave him ability to learn faster or it was a quirk that gave him ability to understand any languages in all universes. That’s just my theories, I have no clue my self. Cause I’m still not sure if he was born blind or has some sight issues (the man don’t have pupils in his eyes).
Or maybe, according to narrative, sorry if it sounds annoying, they were called by orphans, so, maybe they were found and saved by some thoughtful humans. Maybe they lived in orphanages some time. That one blind spot, I can admit.
I don’t know if you want to continue this conversation or not, I don’t want seems rude or intrusive either. Please ignore me if you not interested in it.
While everyone is wondering how two babies could survive on their own, I am more interested in how AFO, being a savage WITHOUT SOCIAL SKILLS, could independently become a skilled manipulator. This doesn’t make sense: in order to manipulate, you need to understand the psychology of people, and I can’t imagine a wild child who, at the sight of people, either runs away from them or kills them as a skilled manipulator. Someone should have taught him this, otherwise it just looks like a huge plot hole.🤨

I may be wrong but
According to the narrative they were born during the civil war between quirkless normal and quirk gifted/cursed people. And I can assume that the older brother learned from this aggressive behavior around them.
He watched and proceeded how others interacted with each other and his young mind was rebellious. The mass murder scene, where he killed a anti quirks group when he was a toddler, were after he listened to their talk about attacking the quirks people.
So, than, when he was older, maybe teenagers, the “quirks” already were accepted by society in some point. But he couldn’t wrap his mind “why people take attention only on flashy and “good/useful” quirks. He was envy and angry on whole world.
There were a time when society rebuilding itself after CW. The twin brothers lived in crumble skyscraper. And AFO returned from his maybe first planned murder (the shining baby). He killed him, cause the society claimed that baby first official quirk gifted person.
But again, according to the narrative, the shining baby wasn’t first, he was just lucky enough to have flashy not scary quirk.
And after that AFO has a dream, a purpose, a idea what he wants to be. The Demon Lord.
So, year, he was taught by society how to manipulate people in my opinion.
Sorry for intruding

Okay, so, I finished it.
The second half was not so emotionally explosive for me, but I have fun reading it.
Like this part:
Izuku nodded. He didn’t like having his questions go unanswered, …, but he couldn’t argue with Yoichi. Or the author, since it seems they had no idea what the hell was going on, either.
Thank you, author, I keep it in my personal favorite list.
Currently I read a bkdk fanfic with time AND dimension twists. And it so good!
I’m on the middle on it right now and the narrative close for culmination at some point. It hilariously wrongish correctly. I don’t know how to explain my feelings about it BUT IM IN LOVE with it already.
In one world we have “canon” MHA and in another it’s a world where Izuku and Katsuki best friends, Izuku quirkless but they both attend to UA. AFO was defeated 15 years before their birth and AM never was a Symbol of Peas and inherited OFA.
The author of this fic makes so many points in so many situations and I like reading them point of view.
If you curious the name is “If he’s anything like me” by @kirifreehugs on Wattpad.
I don’t have access for AO3 and miss many other good things but bear with me

I have a song that I associated with Tomura
I don’t know why, but the vibe was there
There's a world out there where Nana gave Tenko her gloves when his quirk awakened and he didn't kill anyone because Nana defeated AFO and came back home to Kotaro.
There's a world out there where Hana didn't have to hide that she wanted to be a hero and not a housewife, 'cause being a hero was normal for the women of the family and they were proud of it.
There's a world where Toshinori is like Kotaro's older brother and Kotaro helps him manage his hero business because he's amazing with that, so the All Might legacy is full of Shimuras.
There's a world where All Might gave Deku his not out of desperation to pass it down so someone would be able to defeat AFO, but because Deku is a great hero at heart and Toshinori wanted to do for someone what Nana did for him.
There's a world where Tenko treats Deku like his younger brother/cousin and Deku is excited to meet the Shimura sibling heroes and Nana is so happy to tell embarrassing stories of Toshinori to Deku and—
There's a world out there where AFO didn't ruin the Shimuras and they were allowed to live and the world is a brighter place for it.

So, uhm, did I get it right? Izuku already quirkless?
Or am I reading to much and that’s Yoichi, Banjo and Bruce (with All Might silhouette) didn’t appear in Shimuras household?
He reach him, Mon-chan, he will be okay

I still can’t move on from Stendhal to Stain ark in My Hero Academia: Illegals. He’s backstory so traumatic
Any opinoins on hero killer stain
If you want my personal opinion as a reader and a fan, here it is.
If you want an analysis of him as a character, I can do that and be impartial (not completely because I'm human, but c'mon I also know how to properly do narrative critique).
The summary is that Stain is a really important character to the story. Here's a quick list:
He's the closest we got to a vigilante in bnha, because he's somehow "working" to improve the hero society, but he's doing so outside of the law and by killing people.
He's the grey moral character by excellence in bnha. He decides what is right or wrong for society based on his own ideals. Proof of that is his introduction to the manga as thee hero killer and letter his participation in the events of the fight against AFO, when he helped the pro-heroes.
In his own words, Stain is the opposition of Shigaraki: he wants to destroy the current society not to end the heroic age, but to bring back what he considers true heroism. He introduced hero nostalgia to the story, as opposed to the way Tomura would dismantle the image of heroes being like perfect gods.
As far as narrative tools go, Stain introduces the conflict of creating a world where heroes get paid for their job. How do you regulate it to make sure that people are heroes for the right reasons? Where is the line between selfishness and selflessness? Where is the balance for a hero that is also a human being?
Stain kickstarts the League of Villains. He's the inspiration that leads characters like Toga and Dabi to join Tomura. In that sense, he is the beginning of the villains' success.
Although he isn't the one that starts the destabilization of the hero society, he is the one who starts destabilizing the pro-heroes per se. Stain introduced the first time in the manga when pro-heroes are being widely targeted by villains.
In consequence, Stain is the first to frame pro-heroes as just humans to the masses. By attacking them, Stain shows how pro-heroes can be in danger as anyone else. They need to be saved and helped, they are victims too.
Stain is the first one that faces one of the UA kids ideologically. He's the first who taunts the line between what it really means to be a hero and how so-called "heroic acts" can be bad in nature. This one is interesting because both Stain and Iida were willing to kill people in the name of "justice".
Stain is part of this saga of events that are meant to deviate the class 1A kids from the vigilante and villain paths. Bakugo would have his moment in Kamino, Deku would have his during his "dark era" and Shouto already had his at the Sports Festival. It goes a little like the kids finding out who they DON'T want to be. Stain was Tenya's moment. Tenya didn't want to be like Stain, but like Tensei, his older brother. Stain is Tenya's narrative foil too.
I can continue the list or dive into one of the points, but I don't know if this already answers what you were asking for, anon.
If you have any more questions or requests, let me know!!!!

I know most of us talking about last chapter but I need time to fully process it…
Random thought. I read many fanfics about bkdk in many scenarios by now and I can’t wrap my fingers around one though. Why in a lot of numbers of those fanfics Katsuki Bakugo presented like maniac or lunatic. Why he almost always goes with anger issues. Yeah, maybe he’s a little intense and passion in manga but I really don’t think he’s irrational or impulsive.
He is more collected and organized of all from class 1A that I know, he calculated his moves. Just remember the scene after their provisional license aftermaths robbery arc. Bakugo was concerned about guys that he takes out. He wasn’t delusional about his methods and he well aware how he’s explosions can be dangerous.
Yes, he’s angry irritated most of the time and I like that theory that he’s angry cause nitroglycerin make him calm and he need to be angry for his heart health but he rational and collected.
I don’t like seeing Bakugo unruly jerk. And I really don’t enjoy reading fanfics where he is abusing people BIG NO-NO.
Like I read trying a fic where he literally exploded Izukus arm and half upper body. Like, Bakugo can’t be a hero after this! It’s just ruin heroism! He’s literally became a criminal but he was accepted to UA like nothing happened… I really don’t understand it…
