With Tivoli Town now in better shape than ever, Hayden sends Zola to River City. Although the waterside town has its own (slightly loopy) Machineer named Harper, all isn't well. Somebody is going around breaking machines, and it's up to you to find out who and why. Guide Zola around River City, help the citizens and find what plagues them.
Features
Twelve brand new machines to fix including a pong arcade, chain ferry, and a sparkling fountain!
Build your own boats in the new Workshop (build a boat with oars, sails, mississippi wheel, and fully automated controls)
A host of new characters: meet Queen Bridget, Babba the Bot, Ford Fontaneous the water sculptor, Robob the elevator operator, and many more!
Dive deeper into the world of Machineers, explore the dark secrets of River City, find out who is breaking the machines and why!

The first four puzzles are now FREE for Android players
Hello Android players! Important announcement for you!
We've had to change the way we sell Machineers on Google Play. This means that some of you may see a new green button, or a screen asking you to unlock the rest of Tivoli Town. Don't worry, we're not asking you to pay again.
In that screen, tap the button that reads "I purchased before." Here you will find steps to unlock the rest of the game WITHOUT charging you anymore.
We've tried hard to make this unfortunate process as simple as possible. We are constantly monitoring our support form (www.machineers.com/support) to help you if you need it.
Anyone who has unlocked the first achievement - "A Good Start" on their Google Play account WILL NOT see any of this, and will continue to play as normal.
Your support has been incredible in getting us this far, and we're very sorry if this change is any inconvenience. If you need any help at all, let us know in the support form and we'll solve it ASAP.

I sat down with Machineers and totally got lost in the world that they鈥檝e created. Each puzzle provided a new challenge, brought the world to life, and made me feel like a kid again learning what got me into programming to begin with.
Landon Durnan from Big Sushi FM talked with Henrike about Machineers, learning programming, teaching through games and about coming a long way. Listen to the conversation here.

Machineers in the news
Lately, thanks to our fantastic new PR manager, Andrea, we have been getting quite a bit of press coverage in Denmark.
We made it to the cover page of Politiken, and B酶rsen wrote about us as well. We can only imagine what is going to happen once we have launched. Stay tuned, because that day is just a few short weeks away.

Hello! I was thoroughly impressed by your concept and trailer for Machineers. In your Unite 2013 talk you mentioned localizing the game in Nordic languages etc. I wondered if you could also be interested in a Hebrew localization at some point. I am a translator as well as an aspiring Unity developer and would love to make this game accessible to children in my country as well.
We are getting a lot of requests for localisation and we would love to follow up with all of them and have people play Machineers in as many languages as possible! After releasing in English and Danish, first we will translate to German and French, later to a bunch of Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Finnish), Spanish, possibly Chinese. After that we are also open to spread further and include Polish, Czech, Russian and why not Hebrew too. We can鈥檛 make promises at this point as our main focus is on development and release of the game itself, but we will try our best to bring the game to as many people as possible.

How do you make a videogame that is well and truly a game while also being, dun dun dun, educational? In the end are the two mutually exclusive? You could argue a game need only be fun to play. Or maybe it is the hierarchy of challenges, the increasing difficulty through level progression that preserves its "gameness"
Check out this fantastic article about Henrike and Machineers on Kill Screen. Thanks for visiting us at PAX!
