Half of book twitter went nuts and then made a fake acc for the girl while harassing her. That’s why I hate exposing my opinion. They don’t have good arguments and they attack you instead of listening.

I’m enjoying to read your blog a lot. I’m a 16 year old Brazilian girl and I’ve been reading sjm and other authors. Reading your blog made me realize the problematic aspects of certain books and now I feel like I’m way more conscious of the lack of representation (I realized how I, as a latina and bisexual girl, can’t relate to a lot of characters). Reading what you say about books makes me develop my critical thinking and I’m really thankful for this.

Nesta is depressed AND has ptsd. Why can’t people stop treating feyr* like a saint for sending her own SISTER away for literally being DEPRESSED. I’ve heard The Wrath and The Dawn is really good (haven’t read it myself yet) 

I’m cautious when it comes to ME fiction (especially ya) because it’s often like VERY often written by white people and there’s a risk of it being borderline racist and fetishizing 

My 15 yr old sister came to me and asked me to read or investigate books she wanted to read, something like putting parental control, because she and her friends (other 15-year-old girls) are tired of finding mature stuff in YA and I understand, at their age I felt uncomfortable with some things, but even now that I'm 23 years old I find some scenes too problematic. Mainly because they are toxic relationships, non-positive, pages and pages of a sex scene that does not help the plot.
