Sasebo ~ Nagasaki Junior College and Huis Ten Bosch
Tokyo ~ 10 days
Kagoshima ~ not sure, probably same as above
Fukuoka ~ summer
Huis Ten Bosch is a Dutch theme park based of a real place in the Netherlands. I will live there and teach at International Village. NJC is where I'll take classes, it's a private junior college. Tokyo and Kagoshima are camps where our team will teach and get to explore the area. Fukuoka is where I'll spend the summer with a host family teaching at camps as a counselor.
SO YAY~ If anyone is curious about this program let me know, I'd be happy to tell you about it.

Well the last post was somewhat successful, though I realized I left a bunch of good sites out! So here's some more, and I hope everyone studying a foreign language is enjoying the journey~
http://jisho.org/ fantastic online dictionary, highly recommended if you need to look up words
http://www.livemocha.com/ a great way to learn a language in an interactive way like rosetta stone, but absolutely free! there are many languages on here, the community is quite helpful, and I can honestly say after having been through the entire Japanese course I've improved and learned a lot
http://www.freejapaneselessons.com/ this site breaks down the language into easy to understand lessons, it's a great introduction to the language
http://www.youtube.com/user/japanesepod101 a really helpful channel offering small language lessons, they have a website too but I've only used the channel. there are other languages available as well
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:Japanese_language I know some people are weary of wikipedia but this is the best database of information I could ever find. it doesn't necessarily teach you, but it offers a list of words by their part of speech, and examples. it's helpful if you understand how a language works, and want to understand the grammar as well.
http://www.japancast.net/ a japanese podcast, I haven't really used it before but I'm trying it out so here's a little advertisement
http://genkienglish.net/genkijapan/menu.htm this stuff is really gradeschool, but I promise you won't forget it! this is probably the most fun I've seen the language being taught, because if you think about it, this is how you learned your native language. they also have a youtube channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/YoshiEatsWasabi this channel puts the learning on a fun and personal level. it's like your friend is teaching you so check out his channel~
http://thejapanesepage.com/ finally, this is one of the first sites I ever found to help me learn japanese. it might have been the very first thing, even before I bought a dictionary. in fact the layout was way different back then...but anyway tons of helpful lessons and a forum where you can talk to other language learners and experts.

au pair life~
interviews make me so nervous. so I had my first interview with a German family which went well, though I felt kinda awkward because they could see me but I couldn't see them. ahahaha...anyway my trip to Japan is planning out nicely, and my au pair family search seems to be going well so I feel pretty good about the next two years of my life.
nippon awaits me!
