Last weekend, @jaxston_the_pom, @ahhhtaylor, and I ventured to the @hounds_of_heck barn in Stockton, NJ for some agility run-thrus. We had so much fun!!! And the surface and equipment is ridiculously nice. 🤩 (Grace was not exaggerating lol). Like running on clouds!!! 🥰 . There was Christmas music playing 🌲🎶 and I was happy to be able to support the local community simply by playing ‘gilities with my dog!! 🤗💜 . After we left, I got down on myself because Jax consistently took the DW instead of the tunnel in the beginning of the sequence—and we didn’t get to complete the whole course in our four runs. But you know what? Look at all of the other incredible things he did in a NEW place, NEW environment, and on NEW equipment. 😍 He played and engaged with me. He ran for his ball. He looked to me for guidance. He had a beautiful a frame contact. He took the tire after practicing in class last week! And WE BOTH HAD FUN. Thank you for having us Grace!!! Can’t wait for weaves this weekend!! . This weekend, my little fire fox blew me away. 🔥🦊 We closed out our last FCAT of the season breaking into the 11s territory for the first time (video #2), with his fastest run (video #3) coming in at 11.31 seconds!!!!! 🤭😮😆 . We started in September 2020 at 15.57 and dropped SECONDS over the course of a few trial weekends. . Jaxston earned his BCAT and should be ranked 9th Pomeranian in 2020 and 10th for lifetime...for now! 😉🥰 . I can’t wait to see what the bullet boy is capable of doing as we progress. This little guy successfully completed his first two #FCAT runs yesterday—and I could not be more proud!!! 🤗 . It may have taken way too long for us to find BCDC but @ahhhtaylor kept me sane and was the best releaser ever!! 😍 And next time, we’ll be doing many more runs to work toward our first title! All while teaching him that being in trial environments is super fun, as we continue to do agilities too. 🙃🐶 .
