About the AO3 "No Guest Comments for a while" warning
If you're not following any of AO3's social media accounts you might be in the dark as to what kind of "spam comments" have engendered this banner at the top of the site:
These spam comments have been posted about a great deal on the AO3 subreddit for the past couple of days. Initially they comprised a bunch of guest (logged out users) bot comments that insulted authors by suggesting they were using AI and not writing their own fics. Some examples, from the subreddit:
But it then escalated to outright graphic porn images and gifs being posted in comments, again by logged out 'Guest' accounts. Obviously, I'm not going to give examples of those, but between these two bot infestations, AO3 has clearly decided to act and has temporarily closed the ability to post comments for users who are not logged in with an AO3 account.
Unfortunately, this means that genuine readers who don't have an AO3 account won't be able to leave comments on fics that they enjoy.
If you are a genuine reader who doesn't yet have an AO3 account, I strongly suggest getting yourself on the waiting list for one. More and more AO3 authors are now locking their fics down to registered users only - either due to these bot comments or concerns about AI scraping their work - which means you're probably missing out on a lot of great stuff.
Hopefully guest commenting will be enabled again at some point soon, but I suggest not waiting until then. Get yourself on that list.
Wait times are going to be longer than usual at the moment, due to the current Wattpad purge [info on Fanlore | Wattpad subreddit thread], but if you're in line, then your invite will come through eventually.
Update: There's now a Megathread about this on the AO3 subreddit.

In the Aftermath of USJ, Izuku's relationship with his father has become unfamiliar. As the man now seems to be almost distant from him despite having once never given him space. Izuku isn't sure if this is a warning of things to come, as the HPSC isn't done trying to recruit him all he can do is just try to find solace in familiar company.
Chapter 26 is out! This one might tread a bit more personal to some but it an important chapter. Izuku is struggling with a lot of new experience he never had in his secluded mansion. And after the last chapter isn't to sure how to navigate for the future.
So do come and watch Izuku's journey to be a hero continue!

How long has it been since All for One has seen her face? Months? Years? Several?
It all blurred if he was honest. Such a cruel thing to note when he can still strongly recall the day All Might destroyed his happiness. The amount of rage and hatred that consumed his very being. The hero he had the most fun toying with ended up being the one to ruin his life.
Yet the moment he sees the one he had sworn he loved with all his heart it is with shock. Wondering why she had to see him like this, why did they allow a civilian to leave the safety of their shelter. The betrayal in her eyes was too much for him as she had been the one person who had hope for him.
And he betrayed it. Seeing her here as he failed to kill All Might is a wound he never desired.
"Hisashi is that you," she started. No one should recognize him as he looked so young almost a child. Inko was different as always there was no doubt in her mind. Time has not been kind to her, as her body had been rattled with stress and age. Along with hardships he can't even imagine after he had 'left' for overseas.
"Look at me!" Inko shouted. Making him petrified able to recall her once asking if this job was worth it. If it was worth dragging their whole family into by continuing this. Even if he claimed it was because of All Might smashing his head it was because of pride he didn't give up everything. His own ego.
"This is what you've been doing when you left our family? I trusted you, I cared for you, and this is what you've been doing? You've hurt our SON and now you're a child lashing out at everything. Was this all worth it?"
In this moment, he was no longer All for One the mastermind. He was Hisashi Midoriya the man who has just ruined his family. Only able to watch the tears on her face grow as she rushes over without fear of being attacked. She grabs his shoulder to shake him with quite a bit of force.
"Hisashi! Speak to me, you like ranting to heroes about how terrible you are so tell me. Was everything you told me a lie?! Was I just another pawn? Was our son!?" She demanded almost pleading for him to say it wasn't the case.
That she hadn't wasted her life with a man who only gave a shit about himself. He couldn't lie, and the wall he has had for all these years broke.
"I'm sorry, I never wanted you to know. I swear it wasn't a lie-" he speaks yet knows him saying that is so much crueler. Maybe it is because he is so young so close to death that he can't even lie to himself. He is pleading that his last moments would not be with his wife sobbing.
"Never know!? That my husband is All for One the man that just destroyed all of Japan? How long did you expect this to go!?" She questioned as a hand moves to her head pulling at the strands. "I loved you Hisashi. I begged you to move on... Please. Just stop."
He isn't even sure if he can anymore. As while she had hope in him, he never had any faith in himself. He could never get himself to stop. What cruelty has he done to his family?
Maybe he should have just died. What a cruel existence his life has been to the very world itself. And to the poor family of Inko and Izuku to have loved a man who has never existed.
If only he had been a boring and ordinary man....

It's now half updated/edited. As for why Ch 14? Well felt like a huge chapter since there some big stuff especially since the previous one had some drama. So want to make sure it's coherent and sounds a lot nicer.
Energy died but considering it almost 20 pages now the fact I edited 10 pages of this is still pretty good.
Going to just do some editing on Ch 14. There a lot of parts didn't like and want to make it sound better, also brain tired of studying. So as good a time as any to get some editing done.

Me learning about Harp Seals and baby Seal Pup got like ten days to store up on fat and learn to swim after literally just being born. As the mom leaving to go north so they got to survive on fat reserve after that and swim to join their mom.
Fascinating.
#reference#Harp Seals love their kids but they can't do anything if the kid can't swim as the Ice melting regardless.

After some planning behind the scenes (and Mod Cal dealing with carpal tunnel), we've finally set everything up for this year's TodoIzuOcha Week! It will take place from May 13th to May 19th to ensure that everyone has enough time to create and celebrate!

Chapter Summary:
All for One, the most fearsome man alive, has finally settled down with the oddest woman around. As she doesn't seem to really fear him claiming he is no different from any other human or beast around. Which was apparently enough for him to decide yes this is who he wants to marry and be with.
So now he wants to go onto the next step that he's seen every other families do. Have a kid, makes you wonder how long it going to take for him to figure out that the wife he has isn't even human?
We are back with Selkie Inko and All for One! Decided to crank this out before I die as I have several exams next week to study for. Yaay... :' )
This chapter also the first chapter we see a newborn baby selkie Izuku! Also featuring All for One considering burning down a village. So do come and enjoy~!

All for One(dad): Oh Todoroki? God that family is a trip the father a jerk they neglected and drove his oldest son up a mountain.
Izuku: -voice cracking- What?
AFO: Yep! He burned himself up and all they found was his jaw. By the way all his kids were made through a quirk marriage. First son had no fire resistance yet had fire so that’s why he died.
Izuku: WHAT!?
AFO: Shoto has both ice and fire so he is his master piece. The expectations he has for the poor kid is insane. So good luck befriending him, he has a lot of daddy issues. But I believe you can do it.
Izuku: …I just wanted advice on how to befriend him. Not pressure.
