Tessa feels like she doesn’t fit in anywhere. Not at school, where she can’t figure out how to confess the feelings she has for her friend Maddie. When word gets out that a group of werewolf hunters has infiltrated her pack’s territory and that they’ve developed a cure that can make werewolves human, Tessa thinks she’s found the answer to her problems. But when she discovers there might be more to the hunters’ plans than anyone knows, it’s up to Tessa to put herself on the line to protect the lives of those she loves most. I want to push back on the narrative that's already going around that the "Reality TV" boom was because of the writer's strike. It's straight-up anti-labor propaganda attempting to claim the strike didn't do anything.
And it's blatantly false.
1) Survivor premiered in 1997, Big Brother in 2000, Amazing Race in 2001, American Idol in 2002, and that's just the big-name network ones I can think of off the top of my head.
The last WGA strike was in 2007.
The reality TV boom was already in full gear long before the strike.
2) The 2007 WGA strike lasted from November 5, 2007, to February 12, 2008 - Three months and one week.
It takes a hell of a lot longer than that to develop, pre-produce, shoot, and edit a television show than that. No studios turned around a reality TV series in those 14 weeks.
This keeps being brought up because they want to dismiss efforts of the workers by claiming the studios can quickly pivot to something that doesn't need writers (bullshit) and blame what's seen by many as a blight on American entertainment, reality TV, on the WGA strike.

She has also worked extensively on comic adaptations of Cartoon Network properties like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe. When not making comics, Mad enjoys spending time with her partner and their very old dog, going to the gym, and playing Minecraft. ‘Mad’ is short for Madeline, she’s not actually angry.

It’s been a while, but I’m back with good news! I’m excited to share that I’m now a ghost tour guide in Savannah! It’s already been so fun, I’ve really enjoyed meeting some of the other guides, and I get to tell some of the most fascinating lore about this beautiful old city.

Hey youse,
Even though I’ve been going through a bit of a thorny patch, it’s not been lost on me how lucky I am to have such kind and beautiful friends. People who have made time for me in their day, extended their generosity, and were patient with me while I vented, and even when I fumbled. I think it’s fair to say we’ve all been collectively “going through it” more or less. It’s easy when things get bleak to slip into a period of despair. So, while I’m still kinda wobbly, and very tired, I am managing a little better each day. Good people make the difference. And there are lots of good people in the world. Thank you, and so much luv to ya ♥️

Hey all, you know if I can squeeze in some 1920’s flapper fashions I’m sure as heck gonna.
Putting this below the fold because I’m getting some health related stuff off my mind. I’m still inking every day, even if I can only manage a little. I’m still… alive. I’ve been working through a period of weird health related things. Turns out I’ve had a B12 deficiency, which left on its own for a while can cause all kinds of physical, neurological, and emotional issues. It may also take a long time to get back up to speed, and it’s left me with lingering questions about whether this will be a chronic issue and there’s more to sort out. But I have to accept that only time will tell, and that it’s gonna take time to come back from this. Which is very frustrating. I will still try to post updates as often as I can. ♥️

I think all this time here has made me one of those hidden crones living in a hut in the deep deep woods you may stumble upon on your way to wherever. My final form, at long last. Just a wild, half-mad old cryptid who talks in riddles and operates according to some arcane rules that are half remembered and mostly made up. Stay as long as you like here, but careful what you take out. Some of it may be cursed, but I haven’t the foggiest clue.
