This is only tangentially related but it gives me an excuse to talk about it. Silver Chariot Requiem is the weirdest stand in Part 5 and it's not even close, he does like 6 different things and they're all only partly related. He's a weird little kitchen sink of a stand. Ok first things first he puts you to sleep, no biggie. Then he Freaky Friday's you with the closest living creature, ok, fine enough. Then he empowers all nearby stands, and also if they attack him the attack reflects back. Ok, this is all pretty cool, and while powerful, all tie into a singular theme of SCR having a certain domain over souls. The only stand-out (heh heh get it) is that it puts you to sleep, but that's not too crazy. Oh yeah also the ability to "swap souls" is the ability to "change them into something else" so everyone is gonna turn into freaky body horror creatures if we just sit around and do nothing :) HUH?! Even Diavolo was like, "wow that's fucked up, anyways". Polnareff had a singular desire to protect the arrow and by god SCR will do random bullshit to ensure that happens. Too bad the simplicity of just saying "No" is the real answer to protecting the arrow, otherwise you'll just be outsmarted by the world's most intelligent schizophrenic.
