Gotta remember, and remind other people, that anything the tories do over the next potential year, especially if it sounds too good to be true, is bullshit they'll be using to try and gain voters for the next GE

Ministers have drawn up large benefit changes for people who are unable to work due to health conditions, the BBC has learned.
The changes, affecting hundreds of thousands of people from 2025, would save £4bn from the welfare budget.
The proposals would see many more people forced to find work despite suffering from a range of physical and mental health conditions.
When is enough enough?
Unelected bastards are continuing in their quest to cause as much harm as possible, and we're expected to do what? Wait for the election?
Absolutely no trust of Kier Starmer's lot to do anything useful if they get power. And what the fuck are the Lib Dems up to? First I heard from them since Nick Clegg was them rightfully condemning Braverman.

fun facts!
in UK law, it didn’t count as bestiality because it wasn’t alive, and it didn’t count as necrophilia because it wasn’t human

Wow what an interesting way to say "countries with strong employee protection laws aren't at the mercy of tech billionairs in late stage capitalism" but with a real boot licker angle.

Social media firms will be forced to remove online content facilitating animal torture in a further push to make the UK the safest place in the world to be online.
Under new proposals, social media platforms will be required to proactively tackle the illegal content and have it swiftly removed, or face fines of up to £18 million or 10% of their global annual revenue.
The amendment, which will be tabled in Parliament today, will require platforms to put in place systems and processes to tackle content that encourages or facilitates animal torture. The amendment comes after untiring campaigning by Baroness Merron to further strengthen the Online Safety Bill’s laws around animal torture content.
It also means even if the activity takes place outside the UK but is seen by users in the UK, tech companies will be made to take it down as part of a zero-tolerance approach.
Recent examples of facilitating this includes the Monkey Haters case, a year-long BBC investigation which uncovered a sadistic global monkey torture ring stretching from Indonesia to the United States. This demonstrates how social media can be used to pay for or give instruction to others on the torture of animals. Today’s amendment will force social media companies to put in place proactive steps to tackle this.

It looks like the U.K. government are going to expand the free childcare program to 1 and 2 year olds. For those who don’t know currently you get 30 hours a week of free childcare for children aged 3 and up until they start school. Most mothers return to work when their babies are between 9 months and a year old which mean parents are paying vasts amounts of money on their childcare for 2 years until they qualify.
On the one hand I am extremely hopeful and happy about this because I’ve recently had a baby and the idea of how much money we’ll be spending on childcare genuinely makes me want to cry
But on the other hand I don’t like it because the Tory’s are only doing it because Labour promised to do something similar if they won the next election and it’s a hugely popular idea so they’ve basically undercut them. It just gives the tories an extra hand at winning the next election and I don’t know how much longer this country can survive under the tories

Things I should have asked the dealer: “how long will it take for the INSIDE of the windscreen to defrost?”
It is 1:48 pm, why the FUCK am I having to scrap ice off every window of my car?
