A short list of things I think everyone should try or do at least once in their life that will make you feel more alive. Not all of these are applicable to every person, but it’s a summary:

Take a dance class of any style with a semi-serious instructor for at least 4 classes worth

Write a work of fiction, of *any* length and *any* quality

Learn a least a bit of a language that isn’t your native one. You don’t need to become anywhere near fluent, but try and get a bit beyond yes, no, and where’s the bathroom. If you’re from a country where most people are bilingual already, that doesn’t count! Get bits of a language with which you are truly unfamiliar.

In the same vein, make peace with subtitles and start consuming music, TV and movies from cultures that aren’t your own. If your country imports large amounts of media from a specific other culture or cultures (American movies in foreign markets, for example) that also doesn’t count! Get some feelers out to begin to take in content from a culture that you don’t already have a lot of knowledge of.

Try at least one less common/less “exercisey” and more fun type of physical exercise such as roller blading or roller or ice skating, gymnastics, trampoline, rock climbing, aerial silks, pole dancing, surfing, etc

Learn a hobby or craft that produces a physical finished product and produce a single, complete object - regardless of quality - that you can hold in your hands and say that you made.

Look up a how it’s made video or YouTube video on how an item that’s interesting or relevant to you is made

Give one type of thing - media, hobby, sport, whatever - that you’ve never been interested in or never tried because of some preconceived perception an honest shot and see if your perception was correct. Sometimes it won’t be, sometimes it will be, but it’s valuable to know.

Rearrange the furniture in a room in your home

It’s about NOVELTY, babey! Get some enrichment into your enclosure!

Okay, but the thing about Julie and the Phantoms’ “Unsaid Emily” is that Charlie’s (Luke’s) delivery may be interpreted in one of two ways. For example,

“And the words I most regret are the ones I never meant to leave”

By looking at the line in this context, it is clear that Luke most regrets the terrible remarks he never intended to utter to his own mother. When you first hear the song, it sounds like he is stopping the lyric there, however that is not the case. Let’s say we look at it from the original perspective

“And the words I most regret are the ones I never meant to leave, unsaid Emily.”

The original lyrics reveal that Luke had things he wished to express to his mother, Emily. The fact that he fled before ever expressing his actual sentiments to her is a cause of genuine regret. He sort of tricks the audience, but not completely, to communicate the contrasting internal guilt he feels regarding his and his mother’s quarrel. In this essay, I will-

But imagine this. season 2 comes out and it opens with a scene of Carlos recording for his vlog, that it no longer a ghost hunting vlog but a ghost awareness vlog, where Carlos talks about living with Ghosts.

He introduces Luke, who's sitting on the stairs, does a minor interview asking how they came back to the studio, how they became visible and when he died, also makes a joke about how Luke really smells like he hasn't showered since 1995. Cut. Introduces, Reggie, who's on the kitchen with Ray preparing their lunch, he says Reggie likes to hang out w his dad, eats 8 meals everyday, and likes to watch star wars w ghost hunting tv shows w Carlos, and is trying to get him to play DnD. He means to introduce Alex, but Julie appears on the background saying he is not in the house, Carlos turn back to his camera and says Alex spents lots of time hanging out with his ghost friend. Ray, outside of view, asks Carlos to turn off the camera and set the table w Julie, Carlos says "well, someone else could help if he didn't dropped all the plates with his ghosts hamds" and we can hear Luke on the background yelling "i already said I'm sorry!!!". camera is off.

People would watch his videos and think this is some promotion to Julie's band, by taking the name way too literally and having the boys pretend they're ghosts. but they are.

Reggie: There’s a message in my alphabet cereal!
