I won’t lie of all the fics listed, I want to bring Trials and Revelations into more focus because that fanfic is literally a masterpiece!! I can’t stop thinking about it is so good and is everything I want in a fic set in Hogwarts era 😩 it has smart draco, enemies to friends to lovers, life or death scenarios, shenanigans, teen romance… Yall im not even joking it is so good!! When im less busy i will talk abt it in more depth because that fic and radiowaves deserves way more clout than it’s getting

I’m SO GLAD you like this post 🥹 I’m honestly so embarrassed HAHA because when I made this blog, I intentionally tried not to attract the attention of fic authors on me literally crying about their fic in 1k words or less (or more)… I won’t stop them from stumbling onto it—I mean, it’s a public blog—but these posts are just very honest ramblings. Regardless, I’m so happy that this silly litol post is inspiring you even a little bit to continue the fic :>> That was not my original intention when posting these things, but I won’t say I hate the outcome. My friend and I still sometimes think and reference your fic in our day to day (“Hey do you remember that one dadskier fic with dara and ciri?” “I RELIGIOUSLY CHECK THEIR TUMBLR, OF COURSE I DO”). “I want you to let me go!” She snapped, and pulled her arm from his grasp. He let her go easily. “It’s, it’s no business of yours what I am doing,” she declared, every inch royalty in her moment. It fled her the next, leaving a scared little girl in its wake. “Please, let me be.”
“I can’t,” Jaskier replied instantly, and he found he meant it. “Let me help you,” he said.
After a long, squint-eyed moment of suspicion, her chin thrust up defiantly.“I won’t lie on my back for you.”
“Lie on your– no,” he retched, horrified, but her face remained as it had, cagey, untrusting, jaded. “Princess, no. I want nothing so vile from you, I promise you. You must leave this place, immediately. You need accompaniment,” he pressed, even as she shook her head. “You- you need to find Geralt of Rivia!”
Some Thoughts: I absolutely treasure this fanfic, despite the fact that it hasn’t updated since April. Personally, I really like long fanfics, and would try to consume as much of the really long fanfics as possible, and this fanfic has 9 chapters for 50k+ words. The bells were ringing in my head, especially after I saw the tags, to read it. I was like, “Okay, brain. Whatever you say, but if it’s bad, you know what to do.” And it was not bad. It was great. I finished that fanfic in one morning. It was so good, so well written, and Geralt hasn’t even appeared yet!
Half-way through the fanfic, I already knew it was going to be good. The premise alone is so different and seems like something straight out of my fantasies, and I just wish there was more like it. Of course, there are fanfics where Ciri finds Jaskier, or fanfics where Dara remains with Ciri, or Mousesack lives, but I’m shocked at how well the author combined these elements into such a good and compelling story with such a different dynamic. After I recommended this to my friend, she messaged me while she was reading it to tell me how well written it was.
Don’t stop yourself from reading it because it’s ongoing. The risk is there, I understand, but it’s also so worth it. I loved reading the first 9 chapters–– the way Jaskier in this fanfic is portrayed is likely one of my favorites, and Ciri’s and Dara’s characterization works so well. It’s charming, thrilling, and I’m so grateful to the author for writing this. This deserves more kudos than what it’s getting. Just please read it, look at it, and enjoy the first 9 chapters as much as I have.

Summary: “Reigen, are you kidding me? Can’t you keep it in your pants for one minute! This is serious.” Ritsu, outraged, undoubtedly trying to murder Reigen with his eyes. It makes Sato laugh, delighted, and in front of him, Takashi positively grins.
“Sounds like this ain’t the first time, is it, Reigen? You got a thing for stuff like this? You wanna be held down? We can do that for you.”
Some Thoughts: This fanfic somehow catapulted itself into one of my favorite whump fics of all time, and it isn’t even finished yet. I have reread this fic like at least 15 times at this point, and it’s so good and so well-written. I’m genuinely so obsessed with this fanfic that I would sell my left kidney for the next update, no joke. It is just that good, and I can not articulate how much I want everyone and their mother to read it because it deserves way more kudos than it is getting. I’ll detail what makes it so good in a list because it deserves my lists:
Protective Reigen Arataka (so if you’re into that, then you’re golden)
Really Good but also Really Sad Sex (like the sex is so well-written what the fuck)
Reigen Arataka being the baddest bitch
Ritsu and Teru interactions with Reigen
Very believable and in-character, I swear to god
Okay that is all I’m going to say. What I’m saying is: read this fanfic. I’m endorsing this fic with my entire soul, my entire being as a person. Because maybe if more people read it, we would get the next update, and I just want to know what happens next. I lay my soul at the altar of this fanfic and pray that the gods have mercy on it. Thank you. This post is going to be so embarrassing if this reaches the author holy fuck

Some Thoughts: I absolutely love this series! The writing is incredible and each story in the series centers around some kind of season gimmick, and I loved it. I don’t know how to gush about the fanfics without spoiling anything because the writing makes it feel so ethereal. This is all pre-slash fanfics, but there’s still so much love and subtext written into the fanfic. It’s heartwarming to read and is nice to experience on a rainy day. Each season gives off a soft, loving vibe and it made me both laugh and cry.
I really appreciated the series a lot. Every single story is a lovely banger. Thank you. Please check it out.

“Nightmare Floor,” Bam repeats weakly. “Right.”
Rak is unimpressed. “These cheap tricks don’t fool me. Give me something I can fight.”
As if in response, the manor door swings open on its own.
“Careful what you wish for,” Khun says.
Some Thoughts: This fanfic was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. I just read it last night, and I cried real ugly sobs because the writing was so beautiful. At one point near the end, I had to like breathe for a good thirty minutes to reacquaint myself with my own existence because that one line made my entire axis shift to the right. I will not lie, I did not want to read this at first because I’m not a huge fan of horror and while reading fanfics for Tower of God, I usually don’t like anything too heavy. It’s why the summary with the words “Nightmare Floor” made me go “ehhhh??”
But I was a fool. I love the interactions of all the characters in the fic, the exploration of their pasts and the interactions between Khun and Bam! The most I was in awe of, however, was the way the author described the dancing sequences. They were all incredibly well written, each evoking a different emotion with every single dance partner Khun ends up with. It was also incredibly hard to put down because it explored the pair’s insecurities so well, and I’m screaming. Please read it. It’s absolutely worth it.
God I love introspection fics so much.

Some Thoughts: Totally underrated fanfic in Tanjirou’s POV that delves deep into how he views Zenitsu through the lens of food. It’s pretty short, but it’s worth it. It’s genuinely really sweet because you can tell, even if no words are spoken between the two of them, there’s something there. Very cute post-canon fluff to cleanse the palette after reading the manga ending.

Some Thoughts: To be quite frank, when I first read this fic I had to double back and go “Wait. This is actually really good??” I was so shocked. This is so well-written?? I don’t know how to explain how good of a fanfic this is, but like the prose is so beyond what I expected. I love me some good introspection fanfics, and this is just so good. It’s the closest depiction of what I would have imagined these two getting together would be like, and it’s surprisingly super in character. And if it isn’t, the depiction of Chrollo, which is honestly what gets me super iffy with other Chrollopika fics, is very top-notch. I love seeing the different facets of his personality as he falls harder for Kurapika, and as his death starts looming. Just. Oh, boy. You gotta experience it.
Before this fanfic, I did not ship Chrollopika at all. I kinda just stumbled upon this ship while skimming Leopika stuff on Google, and I was like “Oh. Interesting. :3c” I read these kinds of fics because I find their dynamic entertaining in a this is like listening to tea being spilled kind of way because there’s just so much angst and drama being unfolded, but wow. This fanfic changed my mind. It’s absolutely beautiful and totally deserves the praise it receives.
Most anime fanfics are quite god-awful, and that’s sad. Most fanfics for rarepairs are also quite awful. Somehow, this fanfic transcended all my expectations, and I’m so in love with it. Totally deserves a place in one of my top ten probably.

Summary: Trevor Wilson confronts Julie Molina.
Some Thoughts: This is maybe (?) my favorite fanfic in the fandom, and it isn’t even a ship fic. I absolutely love exploring Bobby/Trevor Wilson’s character because he’s such a red herring character, like his daughter––who I stand by loving and appreciating because she’s really like Sharpay in a sense that she just loves her craft, and she could be way worse than how she acts in the show. People constantly forget that Bobby was a traumatized 17 year old who found his best friends dead right before their big break, which of course doesn’t excuse what he did with their music, but that doesn’t warrant him being painted completely as a villain, and I appreciate this fanfic because it does just that.
Oh, also. Not to mention the way they wrote the dialogue was incredibly powerful. I was shook to the core. You don’t even really get much of the boys, just some mentions because he can’t see them, but the little nuances suggested by Julie and what he himself can feel just spoke volumes.

Some Thoughts: Not gonna lie, I’m a just a bit biased about this fanfic because it has asexual Luke, and I absolutely adore asexual/aspec Luke. Mostly because I am asexual as well, and seeing the struggle that he has makes me feel so seen. It’s a character study that starts pre-canon where he starts realize that he doesn’t really get the whole genital situation, and I personally liked it... a lot. I like it a lot. It’s just so much more than just a Ruke fanfic because it explores self-acceptance and being loved through friends, and it makes my heart warm.
The Julie and the Himbos friendship is so strong in this one too because everyone is just really so queer, and really accepting about it. It was such a feel good fanfic to read, I was smiling happily by the end. The Ruke at the end really feels like a happy bonus that I got on top of such a sweet fic.

Some Thoughts: Another Geraskier fic rec because this has been sitting in my drafts for the past four weeks because I could not properly enunciate how much this fanfic made me swoon. It is so sweet like holy fuck. I’m so in love with fanfics where Geralt is so confused about affection, and Jaskier is just brimming with it, and I also love fanfics that is almost like a character study that focuses on Geralt being loved. He is just so emotionally repressed all the time, and keeps forgetting just how much Jaskier loves and appreciates him, and I just... It’s quite good, and wholesome.
Also, not to mention I adore the song this fanfic is titled after.

Some Thoughts: I am SO not the target demographic for this fandom, but I wade–– wode? waded?–– through the fanfics, so you don’t have to. Anyway, I really like this fanfic. Why? Because this is just so cute, especially the first half because that’s when Reggie starts kissing people, and that’s so fun, especially as fan of Reggie. I’d recommend this if you like Reggie-centric fanfics and wholesome Sunset Curve bonding. It’s always nice seeing fanfics that don’t try to paint Bobby as an irredeemable villain.

Summary: “Why is it forked?” ten-year-old Geralt asks Jaskier with a curious tilt of his head.
Jaskier shrugs. “I thought it looked nice. Why draw one road when you can draw two, right? And besides, that way you can choose which path to take!”
Geralt frowns. “But what if you don’t want to go in the same direction as me?”
“Don’t be silly, I’d follow you anywhere! You’re my best friend!”
“Well, I’d follow you, too.”

Jaskier has a secret. Well, he has two.
The first is that he’s in love with Geralt Rivia, captain of the rugby team and his childhood best friend. Only, they’re no longer best friends. His second secret is that he writes poems dedicated to Geralt and anonymously posts it at the school’s Freedom Wall under the pseudonym of Dandelion. And the thing is, Dandelion has become so popular - more popular than Jaskier - that it’s getting more difficult to keep his silence when it’s clear that Geralt is starting to develop feelings for the mysterious lovesick poet.
How naïve was Jaskier to think that it would be so easy.
Some Thoughts: This fanfic made me cry so hard. It’s also so underrated. How does a fic this good exist but only have less than a thousand kudos?? I’m so stressed out. I’m shocked. Shocked. To be fair, this fanfic has the most basic premise ever and if you read the tags you’ll go, “Jock Geralt? Nerd Jaskier? What is this? An early 2000s Disney Channel Original Movie?” And you would be right, but that is the glory of it. There is just something so cute and visceral about Secret Identity fics and I stand by that, but there’s also something so precious about Childhood Friends to Not So Friends to Lovers, and I’m shaking.
I normally despise HS AU fics because it just reminds me of HS and no one wants to be reminded of HS, but this fanfic is on a whole other level. I cried for like 20 minutes straight in the climax, and I haven’t been the same since. Legit changed my entire opinion for this one song, and now every time I listen to this song I just imagine echoes of this fic in my brain. Please read it. It deserves more hits and kudos than what it’s getting. Also, the author made a playlist on Spotify and you can listen to that here.

Except it's not quite that simple.
Some Thoughts: Holy shit. This fanfic is incredible. Full disclosure, I’m not the type to read torture fanfics ever, or at all, but I decided to read this one for some strange reason. I was fine combing the archive’s top kudos’ 20 pages, and I stumbled upon this fic, and I haven’t been the same since. The torture is all fun, mostly what you’d expect and is fairly graphic, but it gets worse. It’s just so beautifully written out, and I was in shock when I finished reading it because the torture made me squeamish, but the ending made me gawk at my screen. It’s too good. I wish I could relive that moment again.
You will be in for a treat once you get to reading this because it isn’t like your usual Jaskier gets kidnapped and tortured by Nilfgaard story. It’s more and the experience is absolutely chilling.
