Mafia Love🖤( Painkiller x Y/n)
Requested: ❌
Characters: painkiller, y/n, odell, khalil
Triggers: gun usage, mentions kidnapping, killing, cuss words, violence( if any of you are uncomfortable reading parts like that I'll put a ⚠️symbol ahead and another one at the ending)
Backstory: for those who may not know who painkiller is, he's a alter ego version of khalil. He was made by the ASA in the show black lightning. He can switch between himself and khalil. It'll make more sense as the story goes on.(this is based off of the black lightning series but I don't own any of the characters except y/n)
*represents khalil talking to painkiller

Painkiller's Pov:
I was currently sparring with one of my partners when agent odell came over to me. "Painkiller a word with you please" he said. I hit my partner with one of my poisoned darts and walked to odell. "What seems to be the problem?" I asked. "Well for one you keep killing every sparring partner you get. You keep this up and I'll have no choice but to-" I cut him off. "To what Odell? Me and you both know you won't fire me. I'm too valuable to you so face it. You need me." I said silencing him. "My apologies, you are needed for a mission. Go to the museum tonight at 8:00 and take the diamonds. Eliminate any witnesses." Odell says sighing. I drove to my house in my black car. I know you're probably wondering why I'm so mean to odell but trust me I have a very good reason. A few years ago I was a normal person. I ran track, had good grades,and didn't have any kids. I did everything I was supposed to do until I died. I had been shot and paralyzed and Tobias stepped in like a wolf in sheep's clothing. I was killed by Tobias. He used me and then threw me away like I was nothing. I had my spine ripped out when I decided to stop working for him and I bled out. That's when odell came in. He used higher technology and things that I didn't even know existed to bring me back and weaponize me. (basically painkiller was khalil before odell made him into a human weapon and khalil is kind of trapped inside of him). I finally made it home and decided to rest for a little.
*timeskip*
The time was now 7:30 and I was getting ready and suddenly I heard khalil speak to me.
*you know you don't have to do this*
"What other choice do I have?"
He was silent. "Exactly, I don't have a choice" I said calmly
I left out the door and prepared to carry out the mission.
Y/n pov:
It was 7:30 and I was getting ready to go watch an art show at the museum. I put on a white crop top, baggy cargo pants, and some sneakers and left out the door. I drove to the art show and I got out to go see. I looked at the door and some man in a black suit walked in. "He must be here for the show too" I thought. After about 5 minutes I heard some gunshots go off and people screaming and I broke down crying.
Painkiller pov:
I looked at y/n as she stood in the corner horrified.
*spare her, you can see she's confused and doesn't know what's going on pk* khalil said.
I thought about it and decided to spare her. "Come with me, I can't explain everything now but we have to go now" she got up and ran to the car with me. "So you wanna tell me what that was back there? Who even are you?" Y/n asked sniffling. I pulled over and wiped her tears as I explained everything to her from me being turned into a weapon, why I was at the museum, etc. She didn't seem like a threat to me. I felt calm for the first time just by being around her. I took a liking to y/n but i knew it was way too soon to ask her anything about us being in a relationship. I pulled up to Odell's headquarters to give him the diamonds. "I got your diamonds now where's my cut?" I asked him. "Here" he said as he handed me 100k in a duffel bag. I grew enraged because he didn't give me what he promised me. "Wait a minute you promised 150k. Where's the rest?" I asked him looking around. "You're not getting the rest. You've been rude to me you don't deserve it. I brought you back to life and this is how you repay me. I was doing you a favor." Odell said. "Oh save that shit! You didn't do me a favor you have been torturing me every since I came back." I yelled. ⚠️(violence+ triggers ahead proceed with caution) "you put a chip in my brain to control me and make me into a weapon. YOU MADE ME KILL MY MOTHER!" I said angrily. I pulled my gun out on him. "Forget the money. give me what I need to get this chip out of my brain." I said sternly.
Y/n pov:
(Plot twist up ahead 😌)
You're probably wondering why I'm so calm and not freaking out right now. I'm an highly skilled assassin and I know exactly who painkiller is and why he's the way he is. I was sent here to kill agent odell. He's done enough to painkiller nobody deserves to go through that and yet, he's made painkiller's life into a living hell. All I had to do was get one foot in the door by making painkiller bring me here with him. Odell owes me money and since he can not pay it, he will pay for it with his life. I was sitting in the car waiting when I heard yelling coming from the tall building. *that sounds like painkiller* I thought. I got out and went to the top floor only to see painkiller and Odell fighting. The two rose to their feet pulling a gun on each other. I pulled my gun out as well ready to take action.
Painkiller's pov:
Me and Odell were fighting when we soon broke away and rose to our feet. Suddenly I heard a gun click behind me. Y/n had pulled out a gun aiming it at Odell. "Yo y/n you're an assassin?" I asked shocked at her actions. "Yeah I'll explain everything later. As for you Odell, I think you need to hand over the stuff to get the chip out of his brain." Y/n said sternly. "NEVER" Odell said as he tried to run off. I shot him in his left shoulder. "The next one's going through your forehead" I said smirking. "Alright alright! It's in the suitcase please let me live." Odell pleaded. Me and y/n looked at eachother and nodded. We both shot odell and made sure he was dead and got everything we needed from him. I heard cops in the distance coming to us. "Should we get out of here princess?" I asked. "Yeah we should." Y/n said smiling.
I drove off taking us somewhere safe away from freeland.

Omniscient pov:
Jordan and y/n have been dating for a few months now. Jordan (known as J.C by his friends) was very popular around the school. He ran track and also played on the schools football team. Y/n on the other hand was very shy and quiet and that's what jordan liked about her. Most of the girls in the school envied her because the two of them were together and some even went as far as trying to break them up by spreading rumors. Despite their efforts no one was able to break up the beautiful couple. Y/n also became a cheerleader.
Y/n pov:
Today was a very busy day for me at school. The boys had a football game tonight which started at 7:30pm, I really enjoy going to football games because I get to see Jordan play but it also meant long hours of practice. I looked at my phone and the time read 3:15 and practice started at 3:30. I entered the bathroom and quickly changed into my uniform. I was making my way down the hall when suddenly, I felt myself being lifted up from the floor. I turned around quickly to see who it was only to see it was Jordan. "You play entirely too much" I said looking at him. "Oh come on baby you gotta admit it was a little funny" Jordan replied. "Ok it was a little funny" I said laughing at what happened. "I really wish I could stay here with you longer" I added. Jordan pulled me into a tight hug. "I know babygirl. I promise we'll see eachother after the game." He said kissing my forehead. "Yo J.C we gotta go to the field for practice" one of Jordan's friends yelled. "I'll see you later baby I love you." Jordan said. "I love you too" I responded.
*timeskip to practice*
We were currently going over the last cheer we were going to do when suddenly, the captain known as destiny came toward you. "I think you might wanna work on that backflip. I don't think jordan would like you if you bust your face on the floor and make a complete fool out of yourself." She spat. I smirked knowing I was about to say something to her . "You know destiny, thinking isn't something you're good at. By the way jordan will never ever want you so stop trying." I said. Destiny picked up a Pom Pom and tried to throw it at me but missed. I turned your back on her and headed out the door. "See you just proved my point." I said laughing. " how are you gonna try and hit me with something soft and expect it to hurt." I added. "Fuck youu!" Destiny screamed and walked off. I flipped her off as I walked out the door.
Jordan pov:
The time was 5:00 and i still had time before the game started. Coach didn't mind us leaving and coming back before the game starts there was only two rules: be back in time for warmups and don't be late otherwise we'd get benched. Warmups were at 6:45 which means I had time to spare. I thought of an idea and made my way to y/n's house. Shortly I heard some movement which meant that y/n was home. Once she made her way up the stairs, I heard her sit her backpack on the floor next to her room door. When she walked in, she immediately ran up to me and hugged me. "I missed you so much" she said. "I missed you too my love" I replied. Y/n was clingy but I love her clinginess. We ended up watching a movie, cuddling, playing a few games and also talking and laughing. The time was now 6:20 and I didn't wanna risk being late. I prepared to leave when y/n came up to me and gave me one last hug before I left. "You coming back after the game?" Y/n asked looking up at me. "Yes my princess I'm coming back. Is it alright if I stay the night?" I asked her. "Yeah my mom and dad are out of town on a business trip but they're coming back in two weeks" she told me. I made my way out of the door and headed to the school for warmups and shortly after, y/n did the same.
*timeskip to the game starting*
Y/n pov: me and the rest of the cheerleaders went out and performed the first cheer. Our team had 10 points and the other team had 5. We did two cheers and when we reached halftime we took a break and let the band perform. My bestfriend jayla came over and we talked for a little. "Girll jordan has been eyeing you since halftime started. Y'all so cute together" she told me. "I know right. I can't even lie he looking so fine in that jersey." I said staring at him. "I'm telling him what you said" jayla said laughing. "No no jayla hush dat mouth I'll tell him myself " I said laughing.
*after the game*
Our team won 78-53 and the boys and other people were celebrating the win. But as for me I was tired and just wanted to go home. I met up with Jordan and we both rode home together. He had previously gave me his hoodie to wear because I was cold. I ended up falling asleep in the car and jordan carried me into the house. We both took a shower, ate, and fell asleep cuddled next to each other.

It's been about one month since I asked y/n to be my girlfriend and honestly, it's the best decision I've ever made. I've been thinking of taking her on a date but I don't want to rush things. I want my babygirl to be as comfortable as possible. She deserves the world and I'm going to make sure she gets it. I thought of an idea and immediately picked up my phone.

Y/n: Goodmorning my love, how are you?
Me: Im doing good how about you?

I looked around my room noticing three things: A glittery red dress, Golden earrings and a necklace with me and Khalil's itnitials on it. I got took a shower, got ready, and did my makeup.
~time skip( 7:30pm)~
I sprayed some perfume on and walked out the door. When I looked up, I noticed Khalil standing outside of a black limo. He had on a black tux with a red handkerchief that matched my dress. He also had on a gold watch and a fresh haircut. "Ready to head out princess?" Khalil said staring you down. "Yes my love" I replied getting into the car as Khalil opened the door for me.
Khalil pov:
As we were on the way to our destination, Y/n's beauty had me in a trance. With or without makeup she looked like a literal goddess. I grabbed the pink and red roses and handed them to y/n. "Awww that's so sweet of you khalil" she said smiling while smelling her flowers. The moonlight shined and glistened over her skin. "We're here" the driver said. I got out of the limo and went around y/n's side to help her out of the car.
Y/n pov:
Me and Khalil walked into the lavish restaurant and the waitress quickly sat us at a table. I ordered salmon and khalil ordered a steak. The waitress brought us our drinks and I noticed her trying to flirt with khalil. Khalil simply shrugged it off not paying her any attention. His eyes were so focused on me he didn't notice the waitress's antics.
~time skip~
Khalil was getting ready to pay so we could leave. The waitress handed him the ticket. "Y'all are good to go. Hope to see you here again" she said smiling at khalil and side eyeing you. You picked up the ticket and noticed she had written her number on there. *two can play that game* I thought. I wrote something back on the ticket and called her over. "Excuse me ma'am you left your tip" I said fake smiling at her and handing her the ticket. The ticket reads as follows:

Sure they'll be quick to hire you. who knows maybe you can be pennywise he's your twin after all :)
The waitress stormed off and you smirked at her as you and khalil headed out the door.

Y/n pov:
As I checked my phone, I noticed the time was 7:30am and school starts at 8:00am. I got up and did my morning routine and quickly got dressed. I texted khalil and asked him to pick me up because I'd have no time to drive myself to school. I grabbed a granola bar along with my backpack and headed out of the door.
Text between y/n and khalil:
Khalil: y/n im here, come outside
Y/n: ok, on my way out now
I quickly responded to the message and walked to the car. "Yo wassup y/n" khail spoke. "Hey khalil how are you?" Y/n asked. "I'm doing good now that you're here" khalil responded flashing his beautiful smile at me. Trying to hide my smile, I turned away facing the window. I had been crushing on Khalil for some time now but I could never bring myself to tell him. After about 15 minutes, the car came to a complete stop. "We're here y/n" khalil said calmly. I grabbed my backpack from the backseat and prepared to get out of the car. "Thanks khalil" I told him. "No problem" he responded. We both got out of the car and gave each other a side hug and parted ways to go to our classes. As I was walking, I met up with my friends Keisha and Jennifer who snickered and gave me looks.
Jen pov: Me and Keisha watched as y/n got out of the car with khalil. "You think they like each other?" I asked Keisha smirking. "Most likely, y/n always blushes and acts shy around khalil" she responded. "I wouldn't be suprised if he was giving her that-" I cut Keisha off. "Heyyy now i think we've heard enough". Y/n came over to us and we greeted her with hugs. "Girl we seen you getting out of the car with khalil" Keisha said smiling. "You like him don't you?" I asked. "No... well maybe." Y/n said looking off to the side smiling. Just as I was about to speak, the bell rang for us to go to class. "Ooh come on before we be late" Keisha said pulling us both with her.
*time skip to after school*
Time: 3:30pm
Khalil pov: As i made my way to the gym, all I could think of was y/n. Her smile and beautiful eyes were the only thing on my mind. We became bestfriends as kids and are both 16 years old. I've had a crush on her for the longest but I never told her. Today will be the day I finally confess my love to her. I was the only one in the gym at the moment so, I took off my shirt and changed into my gym shorts and began to work on the treadmill.
Y/n pov: 30 minutes passed by as I walked to the gym to try and find khalil. I mean after all he was my ride home. As I walked through the gym doors I spotted khalil shirtless with sweat glistening on his body. "Hey y/n my bad I got a little caught up in my workout" khalil said. "You're fine khalil" i respondes. "Wait you think I'm fine?" Khalil said smirking. "I didn't mean like that" I said smiling. Who am I kidding I do think he's fine and sexy but he doesn't have to know that. "Can I talk to you about something?" Khalil asked nervously. "Yeah sure" I told him. We stood across from each other as I listened to him talk. "We've been bestfriends since we were six and over time I started having different feelings for you. Honestly I like everything about you and I'd love to have the opportunity to call you mine. So, with that being said will you be my girlfriend?" Khalil asked. "Yeah I'd like that" I said blushing and looking to the side. All of a sudden khalil came closer to me and moved my face back towards him so that we both made eye contact. As he held my face, he leaned in closer pecking my lips. I leaned closer and began to slowly kiss his lips. We both pulled away and headed to the car.

"Thanks for dropping me off at home Khalil" I said. "No problem my princess" he responded. When I got in the house, I prepared for dinner and talked to khalil afterwards. We talked on the phone until we both decided to go to sleep.
