The first preview of the haircuts guide lessons! This is the result of the lesson 20, we are creating an almost procedural groom to generate our base groom that will be a preset for further hairstyle. This is part of a more complex series, in which we are analysing the structure of a haircut and recreating it in both xgen and then in Houdini. I have been working the whole week on a neutral version of the David from the amazing Michelangelo. And it’s finally starting to look like something!, it’s so hard to get the volumes right on such a recognisable masterpiece. The eyes and general anatomy are still to be fixed. But the volume is getting there. The skull will requiere some changes and probably the temple too, but those are easier to fix when having a bit of hair to percentage volumes. This just will be available for patrons and we will use it on our hairstyles series ! Moving is always a HUGE change, but under COVID is super weird, now we are under a 14 days quarantine, so no idea of how Vancouver is. The tv at the hotel is not that good but the computer is working! and I have new monitors so I had to test them. And what do I do under quarantine, with uber eats, no tv, jet lag, and a working computer? Well :D behold! The fox series SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAM 9 new lessons added to the Fox Groom and we finally started with the face guide work after exploring different methods to work on the guides and how to approach them. To finally work on a more manual process ( as my autoflow is not done yet ) Probably will require 4 more lessons to finish the basic guide set up before we move towards the groom generation part!
