Her wings fluttered and spread golden pixie dust all over his fingers. "What would make you think that?" he seemed shocked. "Wendy is fine. She's safe. Did you really think I was going to abandon you?" "I--I--" "I can't live without you. In what world would I ever choose someone over you?" Her wings picked up speed like a hummingbird's. With a giggle, she flew to his cheek and gave him a kiss.

Scrapped letters Jonathan never sent. day four: phenology had me in the palm of your hand rating: teen. s2 pining. It’s somehow always cold autumn when Nancy seeks him out for help. day five: a perfect match we come back every time rating: mature. post-canon exes, reunited through monster hunting. November 6th 1978:  Jonathan Byers is skateboarding home from the best day ever at his best friend’s house when he sees something. The next morning when his mom and step-dad realize he never made it home, they frantically search all over town for him. But the only things they find are his board and his broken camera.  November 6th 1983:  Nancy Wheeler couldn't care less if the whole town thinks she's a bitch. But she'll be damned if she lets anyone call her a coward after everything she's been through. So she foolishly accepts the challenge to explore the town’s abandoned military base alone. Little does she know that what she's about to find is going to change her life forever.

Okay, it’s Day 7 of @jancyweeks and I’m so utterly sad it’s almost over. 😭 But I hope all of you will continue to post Jancy content, write Jancy fics, make Jancy fanart, etc. I mean THE STRIKE IS OVER, NEW JANCY IS COMING! 👏🏼

So I’ve posted quite a few AUs already this week but I’m going to do one more (because frankly, I love and adore AUs). I had originally hoped to write something for the Classic Trope prompt but editing my other fics to death is a weird obsession of mine and unfortunately, very time consuming. But I do still plan to write my Classic Trope fic in the coming months because the idea just won’t leave my brain. To tease, it’s a ‘forbidden love’ fic that leads to our favorite couple being both in love and TORN UP. Angst will abound.

But back to today… today for Jancy Week, I am posting chapter 5 to my “This Love” fic. I’m posting it today for the AU prompt because honestly, there is no way in hell Nancy and Steve are ever getting married and having two kids. But I am way too deep into this world to stop now…

This chapter was originally prompted by the @flufftober prompt, ‘Family Time.’ That and I just wanted to see Jancy made utterly uncomfortable by their family, friends and loved ones…

For day 7 of Jancy Week 2023, I used the prompt alternate universe and made some moodboards for a Power Rangers AU. The pictures are not mine. I found them on Google. All credit goes to the rightful owners.

The year is 1993. Nancy Wheeler, her boyfriend Jonathan Byers, Steve Harrington, and Steve’s best friend Robin Buckley are a group of 16 year olds from the town of Angel Grove, California. Nancy is the editor-in-chief of the high school’s newspaper, and Jonathan is the photographer. Steve is the captain and shooting guard of the high school’s basketball team. Robin is in the high school’s marching band. She plays the French horn. Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, and Robin were recruited by the galactic wizard Zordon to save the town from the evil space witch Rita Repulsa and her horde of monsters. They are known as the Power Rangers. Nancy is the leader of the Power Rangers.

@jancyweeks Day 7: Classic Tropes OR AU

For the final day I put them into one of my favourite game series, Fire Emblem. Jonathan’s class is solider and Nancy’s is Priestess.

Todays song is from one of the earlier games, Gaiden, as my main references for their outfits came from the remake of that game. Also I have this song playing at all time on the app game that I figuratively sold my soul to in order to get my favourite characters in dumb outfits.

Todays piece is rather simple to explain. I heard ink and thought of black and white pen drawings. I also decided to draw them in the outfits they wore to the funeral in S1 cause they (alongside Joyce) had no business looking that good.
