More Baby Shadow and Sonic doodles!

Okay, so the second one was originally just a Sonic doodle, but then I randomly added tiny Shadow in there and didn't want to erase him. XD Especially since the sternness from Sonic actually fits the scenario they're currently stuck in.

Also, the doodle of baby Shadow on Sonic's head is more for size comparison, than for accuracy in doodle designs. lol That's partially why Shadow's a rough little scribble. Lol

Summary:

"Blurry vision, looking over the dusty clearing. Most of the grass was torn up and gone, leaving exposed dirt and mud everywhere. The ground was also a deeper, darker color in most places, ranging closer to black, like char.

He also notes several blobs lying scattered around on the destroyed land. He worries what those might be, but through the ringing in his ears, a quiet sound angled more above his head towards the trees, had his swaying vision shifting up to see a splotch of yellow lying further away."

Future Chaos

Sonic: "After all these years... Who would've guessed you'd need my help?"

~In the future, when everyone's already gone, and Shadow's one of the last one's left... he finds it difficult to keep pushing forward, even when a new threat arises.

And yet, he's not alone.~

[An idea that was inspired by someone else's post. Something about Shadow giving up, and Sonic's voice/ghost tells Shadow he's more stubborn than that.

It literally gave me this idea for a Future AU. I already have a few ideas for it. :3 So, whoever posted that, THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION! (Sorry I don't remember who you are.. :^)]

Summary:

"It was another sunny day, lying on a hillside, beneath the shade of an oak tree. He took a deep breath through his nose and exhaled through an open smile. Hands tucked behind his head like a pillow, with his legs laying straight in the soft grass.

The quiet comfort of the changing seasons was abruptly interrupted by someone outright dropping onto his gut. With a grunt, he jerks at the sudden attack, and opens his eyes in stunned panic as his mind registers the pink quills, and red bandana under his muzzle."

[Wrote a Sonic Prime one-shot on paper and was about to write it out on AO3, but I came across this Sonamy picture before I got started, so then when my hands hit the keyboard, I ended up writing something Sonamy related instead, and then.. my brain took it a more depressing route... Why am I like this?]

When you spend hours of your day, working on a piece that you really want to make, and you're actually decently happy with the result, but end up overwriting the original document with a rough sketch of another WIP...

This shot was a picture I made for Sonic X Shadow Generations: One Step Forward, and Falling Back.

I was pretty happy with how it turned out, since it's one of the few pictures I've done with real improvement since my first time really drawing Sonic or Shadow, which was... over a year--to two years ago? Don't remember how long it's been, but anyway, I was happy with this.

Then, opening Photoshop to sketch some more, I noticed the document for it, wasn't listed in my 'Recents,' and was confused, until I saw the title for it, was listed, but with a different WIP sketch, instead. So, I ended up overwriting the previous save of the document of this finished shot of Shadow and Maria, without knowing it. So that document doesn't exist anymore, and I'm so mad about it!

It literally drained whatever motivation I had to draw... Like- COME ON!!! All that work!

Sonic - Mini Skit:

Doctor: "Okay, what's the problem?"

Sonic: "Got hurt in a fight. Still hasn't healed."

Doctor: "Where?"

Sonic: "Right leg."

Doctor: *does X-ray*

Doctor: "What the-!?"

Sonic: "Is there a problem-?"

Doctor: "'Is there a--' YES THERE'S A PROBLEM!"

Amy: "What's wrong?"

Tails: "Is he okay?"

Doctor: "He's broken his leg in several places, almost completely through!"

Amy & Tails: "WHAT!?"

Knuckles: "... okay, wow."

Sonic: "Wait, really?"

Doctor: "YES!" *flips screen around to show x-ray*

Tails: "UH-OW!?"

Amy: "SONIC!"

Sonic: "What!? I didn't know!?"

Tails & Amy: "YOU DIDN'T KNOW!?"

Doctor: "How are you even conscious right now!?"

Sonic: *shrugs*

Doctor: "When'd this happen!?"

Sonic: "When I broke it?"

Doctor: *nods*

Sonic: "Well, I was fighting Eggman's robots again a couple days ago and hurt my leg. Thought it'd just get better, but when it didn't-"

Doctor: "'COUPLE DAYS AGO!?'"

Tails & Amy: "WHAT!?"

Sonic: *holds his hands up* "I didn't know, okay!?"

Amy: "How do you not know you broke your leg that badly!?"

Knuckles: "Dude. You could break your spine and still walk away like nothing happened."

Tails & Amy: "KNUCKLES!"

Knuckles: "What!?"

[Honestly, been thinking about this, myself. lol It's both amazingly absurd, and yet, very concerning.]

Something interesting about Final Horizon

All of Sonic's friends nearly collapse upon interacting with the cyber-corruption once, even Knuckles. Really shows how much pain Sonic had to endure during Frontiers, and makes you wonder if he's used to smiling through intense pain.

Yep, that redraw contest lasted a few rounds, then we did a few more, today. So.. I've got a list of redraw shots, now. XD

IDEA - Sonic jumping into two feet of water. (Yesterday):

My sisters and I were doing a little drawing challenge.

We'd pick out screenshots from different shows and send them to each other with an idea of a redraw, and we'd have to redraw it with that idea.

Here's the shot I had to redraw.

And the idea I was given, was literally just: "Shadow. Figure it out." XD

They had no idea what I should redraw this as, just that Robin felt like a partially grumpy Shadow, and I just kind of went with it for the rest.

Except, Shadow's not really the grumpy one, here. Lol!

No context but hope that the expressions give enough away with what happened out of the shot. LOL

Sonic the Hedgehog - Super Sonic Comic Page:

This took me several hours, non-stop for a few days to finish, and there's still points in it that were rushed and sloppy. (Most notable point of slop is the "SNAP" text. LOL) Not the best thing I've made, and certainly not my favorite for a lot of the flaws it has, but I'm fairly happy with the result. Mainly the actual designed style for Sonic, which did surprise me, honestly. XD Thought he'd look way worse, but hey! I'm happy!

Hope you all like it!

Who is he fighting? I have no clue, but they put up quite a fight for the ruined land in the background. There literally is no planned context for this, so you all can imagine whatever. Maybe he's fighting his shadow... NOT SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG, just to clarify! XD Man... The Sonic world is complicated. lol

Okay, so I don't have a story or comic or- anything for this, yet, but I really wanted to doodle these specific shots I thought of real quick.

There's this idea I had with Sonic and Shadow heading out on a mission, and thing's kind of take an unexpected turn that leaves the blue-blur on babysitting duty.

Best part? It's literally only Sonic and Shadow in the middle of nowhere. No help, no supplies, nothing. So... how do things go? About as well as one would expect. HEH!

Sonic Prime - Finale Rewrite? Sonic Prime & Avengers: Infinity War Peter Parker Dying Scene, recreated to be Sonic dying. This was a random silly idea at first, but I decided to keep going with it. :) Hopefully you all liked it. I got awfully sloppy with a lot of it. Didn't bother finishing some of the hand and shoe basic sketches, and just left them as warped blobs and such. lol But, as long as it gets the meaning across, I'm good with it. I would've done a fully finished comic, but I knew I'd never get it done, so I just left it as the sloppy sketchy mess it is. Did enjoy taking my time on the last panel, though. :3 Sonic as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Shadow as Tony Stark/Iron-Man

Sonic Frontiers - Rewrite (Preview)

With one more push forward, he’s engulfed by blinding white everywhere, and soon the static starts to retreat, and his body starts to wake up: feeling a more natural coolness rush over him with a breeze.

“Mmmhh…” He groans aloud, and being able to audibly hear his voice around himself was enough of a relief. Then he forces his hands under himself and pushes off the grass.

His surroundings felt like a dizzying swarm of overwhelming sounds and feelings all at once, he almost wished he was back in that dream-realm.

Bracing himself on a knee as the fog in his head receded: he was steady enough; he opened his eyes. The brightness of daylight breaking through the cloudy view overhead sent him reeling all over again. He had to blink a few times: shaking the headache away as best he could, before he got to his feet.

“Ngh–Guys..?” He groaned, searching his surroundings.

There were no signs of his friends or the Tornado anywhere, and that was–to say the least–alarming.

“Amy? Tails?” He called, cupping his hands around his mouth. He waited for a response, but none came.

“Mortal.”

With a jolt, he tensed and searched the skies, expecting to see someone or something overhead, but there was nothing. With a quick glance around him, he asks: “..Who? Me?”

“You have done the impossible. You have escaped Cyber Space through your own power.”

He slowly loosened his stance, keeping his guard up, looking along the rocky walls, and cloudy sky overhead: rain falling all around.

“You.. are the key.”

He stood; fists ready on either side of him as he glared at the sky. This whole thing was beyond fishy to him. Just the starting phrase: “mortal,” was an easy indicator to not trust them.

He waited a moment longer, arms crossing with a huff as he taps his foot.

“Find the Chaos Emeralds. Destroy the Titans. Tear down the walls between Dimensions.”

His arms tighten. This voice was being strangely vague. “Yeah, no thanks. I’ll do my own thing.” He points to himself with a bit of a smile before zipping off through the little cavern and straight for more open space.
