Some of my favorite words and phrases to describe a character in pain
coiling (up in a ball, in on themselves, against something, etc)
panting (there’s a slew of adjectives you can put after this, my favorites are shakily, weakly, etc)
keeling over (synonyms are words like collapsing, which is equally as good but overused in media)
trembling/shivering (additional adjectives could be violently, uncontrollably, etc)
sobbing (weeping is a synonym but i’ve never liked that word. also love using sob by itself, as a noun, like “he let out a quiet sob”)
whimpering (love hitting the wips with this word when a character is weak, especially when the pain is subsiding. also love using it for nightmares/attacks and things like that)
clinging (to someone or something, maybe even to themselves or their own clothes)
writhing/thrashing (maybe someone’s holding them down, or maybe they’re in bed alone)
crying (not actual tears. cry as in a shrill, sudden shout)
dazed (usually after the pain has subsided, or when adrenaline is still flowing)
wincing (probably overused but i love this word. synonym could be grimacing)
doubling-over (kinda close to keeling over but they don’t actually hit the ground, just kinda fold in on themselves)
heaving (i like to use it for describing the way someone’s breathing, ex. “heaving breaths” but can also be used for the nasty stuff like dry heaving or vomiting)
gasping/sucking/drawing in a breath (or any other words and phrases that mean a sharp intake of breath, that shite is gold)
murmuring/muttering/whispering (or other quiet forms of speaking after enduring intense pain)
hiccuping/spluttering/sniffling (words that generally imply crying without saying crying. the word crying is used so much it kinda loses its appeal, that’s why i like to mix other words like these in)
stuttering (or other general terms that show an impaired ability to speak — when someone’s in intense pain, it gets hard to talk)
staggering/stumbling (there is a difference between pain that makes you not want to stand, and pain that makes it impossible to stand. explore that!)
recoiling/shrinking away (from either the threat or someone trying to help)
pleading/begging (again, to the threat, someone trying to help, or just begging the pain to stop)

watching ep 13 🥹🥹🥹

I just went down the twitter rabbit hole and I can't get out of it.
SPOILER AHEAD
Twitter theorized that Park Joong Gil is Koo Ryeon's husband in the past life, this one I think it's already popular but the next theory is going to blow people's minds. So...Koo Ryeon married Park Joong Gil. Park Joong Gil had to go to war, meanwhile, Koo Ryeon was pregnant with their child. Because she was pregnant during the time he was away from home, rumours start about the child not being his, which explains the scene where she was being hit by rocks. In this scene, her hair is up which would mean that she is married. Park Joong Gil comes back and finds out what happens to his wife. He could be triggered after the war, hence going on a killing spree. This is why he said "I will kill anyone who talk bad (talking about his wife)" and Koo Ryeon comes to see her husband and ask him "Is this how you were thought to wield your sword?", this is his nightmare scene. The next part we don't know much yet, but it's been speculated that she killed herself with the child still in her womb from all the things that has happened. This is the one that got me: People believe that Jun Woong is the reincarnation of their child. 🤯
When he first came to Jumadeung, the director told him he has a hard time finding jobs due to bad luck from his past lives, it could be because of his death from his mother's suicide which as already established is a big no no. Koo Ryeon was sent to hell for taking her life, her red string severed because of it until the director comes to strike a deal. Maybe the deal is for her to see her husband and child again, but not knowing who they are. Either she doesn't know who they are or she knows she's looking for someone, but she doesn't know who she was looking for, which is why she didn't realise she already found them. The director said to Joong Gil that nightmares may be from past regrets and his regret could be not saving his wife and son, which is why he is so against suicide while she sympathies with people who are on the verge of taking their lives.
If these theories are true that would mean the scene where the Joong Gil and Jun Woong were scammed by cults is literally them saying "LIKE FATHER LIKE SON"
*screams*
Someone is saying that in the webtoon, Koo Ryeon had two children and everyone are speculating that it could be Ryung Goo. If this is true and is the reason why in the intro there's a thin red line across each character, symbolizing that each character could be connected to one another and this a FREAKING FAMILY DRAMA THAT NO ONE KNEW WE WERE WATCHING...I AM GOING TO DIE.
This is too much theorizing I can't, I'm on an adrenaline rush.

What if Episode 4 really showed how grief looks like. How it felt like. The desperation of bringing your loved one back, no matter how hard it would take you'd shoot your chances. You'd do everything however it takes.
But it also expressed how the pain could consume you if you let it control you. How your determination of fighting the inevitable would result into more chaos, how it would lead you to possibly losing them the second time.
And it hurts so much. It hurts so much knowing that no matter how powerful you become, you'd never gonna have the ability to bring them back. Because death, is absolute. Even if you manifest a power that could use time to fix it, you can't rise them back from the dead.

“Every lifetime, in your arms, I’m home.” — Jasper Sunn.
BL Prompt. (It’s an idea that I wrote down immediately as I was planning to make a vampire BL story genre.)
Jasper snorted soon as the man in front of Wyne handed him the flowers. Can’t this man see that I’m literally beside the man he’s trying to please?
Wyne bid his goodbye and thanked the giver with a wide smile on his face, making Jasper frowned in jealousy. He took a peek from the boquet of flowers, and there he saw a small card with a cursive note in it.
‘I love you to the moon and back, Wyne Horace Von Lee.’
He snorted and rolled his eyes, so obvious that Wyne stared at him with his brows furrowed. Confused. Jasper showed him the letter, still annoyed. “What? It’s sweet. I think. Maybe he’s just being friendly.” he deduced innocently.
“Yeah. Like ‘I love you to the moon and back’ is a very very friendly gesture.” He wanted to add more but he doesn’t wanna make Wyne’s nose to smoke in anger. “If it was, then maybe I am already your best friend.”
Wyne, who knows what he exactly means shifted his gaze and hid the flowers on his back shyly. Jasper was too exasperated to notice the changes of his beloved. "To the moon and back? Tch. Even if he'll love your for a long time, it's still a finite period with a beginning and an end." He stated with so much conviction.
The younger person beside chuckled as his eyes shined looking at Jasper, a bit taller than him.
He’s jealous.
"You know what that means, my little ball of sunshine?" Jasper was too pre-occupied to notice the blood gushing through Wyne's cheeks.
"It means, his love has limits." He lowered his head to level Wyne's eye. The latter recovered immediately as he was too shy to make any movements now that Jasper is in front of him. Though his knees are already shaking and his stomach's badly tickling because of the butterflies that's flying abnormally inside it.
"Hmm? And yours doesn't have?" He managed to utter a sentence, with all his courage gathered up.
"I'm like the Buzz. Buzz lightyear, my sun." Jasper Rale Sunn's made up nicknames for him isn't helping. He's already melting.
"Why the buzz?" Wyne inhaled and felt his heart dropping as Jasper Sunn cupped his chin and moved it towards his face. He held his breath. The 6 centimeter distance between them made Jasper's heart pound in a way only his bright star could give.
"To infinity and beyond," he whispered as he slowly moved his face closer to Wyne who could only close his eyes with so much anticipation.
Jasper planted a soft kiss. It was like a prism with rainbows scattered as it was softly strucked by the rays of light.
It was a million unsaid words pressed in one moment.
No one moved but after a few seconds, Wyne's hands made a way behind Jasper's neck as the latter tilted his head to deepen what he had started.
After a few while, Jasper stopped to give him air. Looking at his own sunbeam with nothing but adoration.
He licked his lips as he locked Wyne on his arms, perfectly fitted and sculptured. Like they were meant and destined to embrace each other. Wyne shut his eyes because of embarrassment for making the first move but he knows he didn't regret doing it.
"Beyond the moon, I love, even unto infinity." mumbled Jasper meaningfully.
Wyne locked his face between his golden pale hands. Jasper softened and tried to look away for he can't hide the wide smile forming because of his ever-bright flame’s doings.
'Every lifetime, in your arms, I'm home.' Jasper whispered to himself.
