Straussdraws on Instagram is my favorite THG artist at the moment.
She does the best character design I've ever seen.
I'm crushed by her Peeta. With small eyes, round cheeks and a sweet look. It's basically cannon for me. I'm dying to see how she's going to draw him hijack.
But her Katniss honestly just shines for me. She manages to make her have the most powerful and at the same time vulnerable eyes I've ever seen. I don't even know how she's able to do that.
Please take a look at her work. It is breathtaking
Katniss: probably part of his elaborate strategy that’s he’s been conjuring up since the second he shook my hand on the stage to make me think he’s harmless but in reality he’s evil and is out to get me and the second we’re in the arena he’s going to hunt me down and kill me.
This week marked the 12th anniversary of The Hunger Games movie release.
What do you think about THG as a movie adapatation?
Do you think THG influence other movie (/book) in the genre? Yes/No? Why?
Is there any difference in your opinion about it between when you first saw the movie (/read the book) and now?
Thank you :)

The Hunger Games movies are great adaptations. They obviously aren’t perfect but all things consider are solid ones.
I think it’s too early to see a major influence in the industry.
When I first read and watched them I was so naive and didn’t thought of the major themes or release the depth in Suzanne Collins world. So that have change. I love them even more. It’s been 10 years and still going strong.
After your first Games, I thought the whole romance was an act. We all expected you to continue that strategy. But it wasn't until Peeta's heart stopped and he nearly died that… I knew I'd misjudged you. You love him. I'm not saying in what way. Maybe you don't even know yourself. But anyone paying attention can see it. — Finnick Odair, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1
