Sometimes I miss what we were

sisters, friends, reflects.

I don't know if you notice

it's not longer the same for me.

I broke

a time ago

when I was alone

and I don't know how to let go.

I wrote stories

made of steel, blood and pain

holding back my tears.

I might have to start again.

All those feelings coming from you

I know, deep in my heart.

Did you know you slashed my soul

when you all left me apart?

It was so hard to even get up.

Lying in bed and crying at all times.

I could see no light, not ona star.

I was lost in the dark.

.

But I survived and healed.

I found new loves

even if I still missed yours.

There was a new me, one I liked.

Then you reappeared,

claiming to miss and love me.

How do you miss something you chose to leave?

Was I suddenly endurable?

.

It took you so long

It felt forever

to remember

I was still living.

.

Do you even know

how much I went through?

Maybe it's my fault

for not having it shout.

.

Was it silly of me for letting you in?

I swear I didn't know the pain

you were to cause again.

Just for being what I had been.

.

Are we mirrors from different times?

Because deep down,

yours are feelings I know.

Those were reflected once in my eyes.

.

A broken girl, you were,

asking for the friend you had left.

But all I felt was guilt and Shame

for wanting you a little far.

.

How selfish am I

for putting myself first

when all you want is to die?

Makes me sick.

.

I'm getting tired

of crying almost every night

keeping it quiet

because you're suffering more.

.

I was fine at last before you brought backs the angst

I'm not saying it's your fault

but neither is mine.

Is it too bad for wanting you a little bit afar?

.

Is it cruel to want you near

but not too much,

to want you to be okay for your own sake

but also mine?

.

And I just wish you were okay

so I could tell you how much you hurt.

To ask you to stay apart

from the life I built when you gave me the back.

It's driving me insane,

the love and rancor

your pain and my own.

To keep it quiet 'cause yours is worst.

.

Do you even know how much you hurt back then?

Are you aware how much you hurt today?

Do you see in my eyes that I wish you weren't I

every time you come by?

Are you truly blind?

Or did you forget

you left me behind

without a second glance?

.

I wish I could fill the hole

you all made in my heart,

which I thought had healed,

with other than regret.

.

I wish I could tell you,

but your pain is worst.

I guess I'll keep it quiet

like the time before.

I'm not longer sure which pain is yours and which is mine.

Did you really not know how much I was you?

It was silent but I had hoped you would've seen.

You're the mirror I reflect in.

Why do I feel so mean by putting myself first?

It's not your fault, but it's neither mine.

I guess I'll keep it quiet

because you're worst.

Well, I have no idea if this is well written since is the first poem I do and English is not my first language. I really liked it and thought someone else could use hearing it so here we are, hope you enjoyed it :)

I believe the courts are arranged from the least powerful (Spring Court) to the most powerful (Night Court) and that power reflects on the court's high lord.

Evidence:

Parallels between Crescent City and Throne of Glass

There are spoilers ahead

Maeve

I haven't read KoA yet so I might not be aware of the full meaning of this one but hear me out.

During ToD it is said that Maeve's power is known as some sort of star eater or something like that, I don't remember exactly.

Later in Crescent City we are told about this demon or monster who is litteraly a star eater (I read this in spanish so the translation might be wrong but u get the point).

And in ToD we learn that Maeve travelled around lots of worlds and so did her husband and brothers-in-law. I'm no saying they're the same person but this cannot be a coincidence.

The starborn Sword

Also, I've been wanting to talk about the Sword of the Starborn and its dagger companion which was supposed to be lost too long ago and maybe in another world. I saw some people say it is Azriel's Truth-Teller but I'm convinced it is the dagger Nesryn finds in one of the towers she and Sartaq visit:

Nesryn studied the short-sword in her hand, the metal shining as if imbued with starlight, interrupted only by the carvings down the fuller. “I wonder what the markings say.” -Tower of Dawn, Chapter 33.

Leaving Sartaq to pick one for himself, she fastened the short-sword to her belt as she approached the far wall and the scribbled dark writing along the bottom. -Tower of Dawn, Chapter 33.

She even takes the short-sword with her. Unless she loses it during KoA there is a chance this is the actual Starborn dagger/knife (i don't remember what it's called). This would be really important if we ever have a crossover-book with those series.

So I'm rereading Queen of Shadows and just got to the part where Chaol meets Rowan, and gosh darn it I wish we'd gotten a Rowan pov for that. I want to know what his first impression of Chaol was, what went through his head. Ugh. Do you have any HCs for what that meeting might have been like?

Oh boy do i. These are literally just thoughts plucked from Rowan’s head.

- It isn’t particularly a secret that Rowan Whitethorn isn’t fond of Chaol Westfall.

- Nobody calls his queen, his bloodsworn, his carranam, a monster and gets away with it.

- ‘I’m gonna deck this motherfucker if he so much as lOOKS AT HER WRONG’

- ”He won’t bite,“ Aelin croons. Lie. He would bite, Aelin knows that firsthand.

- ‘Breathe wrong, motherfucker. I dare you.’

-Rowan keeps his eyes on Chaol the entire time, silently daring him to overstep, daring him to come for his queen in his presence.

- His thoughts are just strings of ways he’d be able to kill someone, ways he’s previously killed men more skilled than Chaol.

- ‘I impaled a man on a table. I can crush this one’s skull with my shoe.’

- ‘Bold of him to assume a sword would be any sort of protection against me.’

- Rowan also finds himself momentarily distracted by his queen, anytime she flips her braid over her shoulder, or taps drags her fingers over the map.

- ‘Huh, I never realized Aelin had so many freckles.’

- ‘Gods above, that nightgown last night.’

- or the time she stands, nonchalantly flipping a dagger over her knuckles. It’s the hottest thing he’s ever seen.

- He’s pulled from his thoughts when Chaol gives Aelin a look of mild annoyance, ‘I will put that quill through your eye, you human filth, don’t test me.’

- ‘I will crush him like a grape, make him into wine, and then drink that wine in celebration of his ending if he so much as looks at her-’

- ‘As her bloodsworn and carranam, of course. She’s my queen and only my queen.’

-’But…I wonder what color her nightgown will be tonight.’

What do u think the b stands for? Boring? Bouyant?

I just read like four different posts invisibilizing bisexuality.

Some examples because I'm really mad about it:

Bisexuals in a hetero relationship have no right to invade LGBTQ spaces

An answer to the one below

Why would you occupay space in a socially opressed community if you are well comform with heterosexuality? What a bullshit

There was this other post where someone was complaining about how people tend to act like it's the end of the world if some bi girl ends up with a boy and this was one of the answers:
