What does your muse smell like? Gunpowder, engine grease, crayon wax, citrus & fresh baking, the faint kiss of hair products.

What does your muse's hands feel like? Soft but rough; Jinx has the smooth skin of youth, but plenty of cuts, scars & abrasions on her fingertips and sides of her hands (there’s a reason she wears fingerless gloves & sleeves on her lower half.

Does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks? She hits the sides of her head and digs at her scalp when she’s heavily stressed or having an episode. Other than that, she hums while she works and always steals a bite of whatever Silco’s having for his meals---unless it’s spicy, that is. Jinx learned her lesson very quickly on that one.

Is your muse affectionate? How so? Yes and no; she’s very physically affectionate, as she constantly craves closeness. Silco is the primary target for this. She encroaches into his personal space, lays her head on his arms or shoulders, touches his hands when he permits it. She knows how to read him; physical touch makes him uncomfortable, but Jinx knows he tolerates it for her. Always for her, anything for her… She’s also incredibly cruel. Jinx stabs, shoots and tosses paint grenades at the staff on the regular; if you’re on Jinx’s shit list, she’ll let you know. Violently.

What position does your muse sleep in? On her back, on the floor, her stomach, her side, upside-down, sometimes even sitting up. Jinx has no rules for how she sleeps; if she’s tired, she’ll take a nap wherever she’s at, in positions that make you wonder if the girl actually has bones in her or not.

Could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room? No; Jinx has mastered the art of walking silently in an abandoned building. Stealth is key in her work, and it shows in every action she takes whether people realize it or not. Her steps are silent, her movements are swift and fluid, and she knows you’re there way before you even think that she’s nearby.

What does your muse smell like? Cigar smoke, mechanical lube, a faint undertone of burnt shimmer. Sweat, the tang of hot metal, leather and hard liquor.

What does your muse's hands feel like? One is a physical laborer's hand; rough and calloused from years of brawling and hard work. The other is cold to the touch, the kiss of metal and the promise of blood, of retribution, of force. Both hands are well trained in precise pressure and force; both know how to hold, and both know how to kill.

Does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks? Sevika taps her foot when she's concentrating on something; a nervous energy quietly vented. When she doesn't know an area, she silently observes and takes in what she can see; the room, the people, the energy. Are they talking openly, or do they look like they're sharing secrets? Are people standing at ease, or tense?

Her ego can get the better of her, cockiness wrestling reason from her mind. A brute is a brute, after all, no matter how wise and clever she's gotten over the years.

Is your muse affectionate? How so? She is affectionate--out of the public eye. It shows differently, depending on the people. To Silco, it's a soft word of advice or support, to her girls down at Babette's it's pet names and bites to the neck.

To the one she calls her own? She isn't sure. She has never felt a strong romantic pullto anyone, before, but that doens't mean it's impossible. She's a busy woman, running the operation of the Eye and guarding the Lanes even now. Sevika knows and cherishes the importance of connection, but she also knows she's one of the only things keeping Silco alive, and in power.

What position does your muse sleep in? On her right side, usually. When times she's feeling restless, she sleeps on her stomach while she writes in her journal. Nothing spicy or confidential ever makes it's way there- it's simply grounding, for her, to get her thoughts out of her head when she's trying to go to sleep.

Could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room? Yes, and that's the point. Sevika doesn't need to hide, ever; hardly anybody beats her in hand-to-hand combat, and if she's paying you a business visit? You fucked up, and she's there to make sure you know it.

Silco, Sevika, Jinx, please

Silco & Jinx tend to the plants above their apartment, in the conservatory stationed at the very top of the Drop. It is a time that they share fleeting moments of peace and exclusive company with one another, as he teaches her how to care for everything from herbs to beautiful but hardy flowers. Sometimes, either one or both of them go up there to sit among the plants to think and enjoy a bit of nature in the comfort of their home.

Sevika doesn't much care for plants, and if you get her flowers she's going to ask the fuck she's supposed to do with them. She thinks owning plants is akin to flaunting your wealth, in Zaun-- and she's right; only the most prestigious Zaunites own plants & greenery. She'd rather have one or two hardy, medicinal, easy-to-tend plants she can maintain and use if she ever needs to.

Since no muse is specified, I will answer for all three!

Silco doesn't have 'friends' in the traditional sense. He keeps many at arms-length, emotionally; he has business partners, he has colleagues and crew, even his Inner Circle [Ran, Lock, Dustin & Cyn] are nowhere near close enough to deem a 'friend'. Sevika is the closest, but even she doesn't claim that title. The closest he has is more queerplatonic in nature; a strong sense of loyalty and comradery, but he wouldn't describe them as friends--more as trusted allies (splitting hairs, I know). Singed, Sevika, Twelve (@twelve-finches) and a scant few others hold this honor.

Jinx doesn't have friends, but that's by choice. The only one she trusts is Silco, and she has taken his guidance to heart: It's only us. She can be friendly towards the crew, but also malicious in the same breath. Jinx has trained the crew to fear her and as such, barely has many who she'd deem 'friends' among them. Lock is nice, though; she doesn't mind Lock. Dustin is an idiot, and she almost enjoys toying with him as much as she does with Chuck.

Sevika arguably has the most friends of the three. As the person in charge of the crew, it's her boots that are on the ground in the Lanes, while Silco manages the operation in the office above. She sees most of their dealers, crew, and contacts face-to-face on a daily and weekly basis. While she personally only has five people she'd name as close friends, most of the regulars have no issue with the rough but down-to-earth Dragon that watches over the heart of the Lanes.

What does your muse smell like? High-end tobacco, dark roast coffee, something chemically-sweet with a tang of acidity. The smell of rubbed leather and oiled wood clings to his coat about as much as the smell of cigar smoke does. A faint whiff of citrus clings to his vest, usually picked up by the wind.

What does your muse's hands feel like? The skin on the top of his hands is almost silken, thinning slowly with age. The palms and pads of his hands are lightly calloused from ages in the mines, and have never quite softened with his office work. His grip is deceptively strong, despite his size, and are covered in scars. Some from his days of learning how to wield a knife, others from times where he had to catch a knife with his hand in a fight. These are hands that know both softness and survival.

Does your muse have any bad habits or nervous ticks? Outside of the smoking and drinking, I assume? He chews ice when he needs to focus in his office; the cold drowns out any anxieties he's feeling and keeps him level, while the crunch gives him something to 'do' while he sifts through shipping manifests, inventory logs, and payroll ledgers. He isn't aware that he does this, but when he's reading long reports, he murmurs the words under his breath as he does so. Sevika loathes when he does this, but subconsciously it helps him tuck the information away, and keep track of where he's at in the report.

Is your muse affectionate? How so? Silco does show his affection in very subtle, specific ways. First, are acts of service; getting you meals if you forget to eat, bringing you a glass of your favorite drink without a word, putting on your favorite music if you're sitting in his office and working away. He also gives very small touches, depending on how close he is to you; to the back of the wrist, a small kiss to the forehead/top of the head/temple, or a light touch to the waist from behind. Nothing overbearing or blatant, just subtle brushes of contact to know he's there.

What position does your muse sleep in? On his right side or on his back.

Could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room? If he wants you to? Absolutely. Usually he's light footed, thanks to all those heists when he and Vander were younger. On top of his exile from the Lanes, nine times out of ten, Silco knows where everyone is before they know he's there-- especially in unfamiliar environments, where he's hyper-vigilant.
