Why 'I Love Korean School Lunch'?
From August 2010 to August 2012 I've had the joy and honor of teaching English at a public High School in Seoul, South Korea. I had amazing students, coworkers, and... lunches.
It first started out as simple snapshots of my tray to show my mom that I was eating well. Then I started posting them to Facebook to show friends back at home. Before I knew it, there was an entire visual archive of my school lunches, with its very own fan-base.
Today is my last official day of teaching at this school. I have just 5 more school lunches left (today's and the first 4 of next semester) before my contract is up on 8/24. It makes sense to post the lunches in reverse chronological order.
It's not over just yet but I know I will miss it. I hope this blog will prove to be a worthy recollection. Enjoy!
