Hello there! Do you have a masterlist by chance? I plan on getting back to watching Saiki again, and I'd love to read some of your writings after ^-^
Hi!! Unfortunately I don’t yet, I had one like 80% done before I took a (long) hiatus, so I can definitely do my best to finish it up soon. I hope you enjoy watching Saiki K., it’s always such a treat to go back to! Thank you for your question and kind words!

Waaaahhhh requests are open?! Congrats on 300 followers!! :D okie well now I have an idea~ don’t feel like you need to rush into it tho.
A soulmate AU of sorts~ you can only taste the things your soulmate has in their mouth.
The twist is that Gender neutral!reader and saiki both like to torture each other. Licking a shoe, eating those disgusting jellybeans, gulping hot chilly sauce. (Reader constantly threatens to lick a poop but saiki knows they never would) It’s a thing they’ve done before and after they’ve met each other.
Hi there! I think this request might be… over a year old. I am SO sorry for that! Thank you for sending it though!
I kinda put this blog down for a bit because my life got busy and blah blah who cares about that lol. But I was watching Saiki K. for the first time in a while and wow I miss this blog. This is super short, and it’s more of a warm up so I apologize for reduced length - this request just made me laugh, because I can totally see Saiki being petty enough for this. Once again I'm sorry it's so short or if it's not what you meant!
TW: uhh gross tastes, Saiki eats dirt but tbh it’s tame

Saiki and S/O love finding the worst tastes to torture the others.
—————————————————–
This was hell.
You don’t quite remember how this started, but it didn’t matter as the taste of dirt filled your mouth once more. You would think you’d be used to it by now - with your soulmate being a mischievous psychic, but, alas, it seemed like your poor taste buds would never adjust. You held back a cough, shooting a glare to your right where your eyes met with empty magenta ones hiding behind green glasses and a small smile dancing on his lips. Of course, he couldn’t taste it, and you had to suffer alone.
“If you’re not careful I’ll begin to associate math with the taste of dirt, you know. As if it isn’t bad enough,” you whispered, transferring your glare down to the worksheet in front of you.
It was cold today. Final exams were coming up, and you needed to focus, being on the verge of failing and all. A cozy picnic table underneath a bare tree seemed like the best place to focus for the duration of your lunch break until you noticed the pink hair and antennae following behind you. Being around him outside was always dangerous. Saiki loves you, he really does and you know it, but he always seemed set on forcing you to taste the most disgusting thing he can think of.
It became like a little ritual every time you saw each other, trying to get the other to scrunch up their face in disgust as much as possible. Most couples would eat sweet candies or fresh fruit as an act to demonstrate their love for the other - you and Saiki on the other hand: anything from dish soap to spoiled milk. Nothing was off the table, as long as it wouldn’t put you in any danger. Saiki, on the other hand, can eat just about anything.
You reached a hand into your bag sitting beside you, determined to get your revenge and taking great pleasure in the fearful expression that overtook Saiki’s face. He could read your mind. A small bottle of hot sauce was inside, and you knew Saiki couldn’t handle the heat. Swiftly, you drank it, thankful you weren’t the one that had to face the consequences of your actions. Saiki’s face rarely betrayed him, but the red on his cheeks from the heat of the hot sauce always brought joy.
“You’re lucky it’s just hot sauce. I could always go a step further, you know,” you teased. “You wouldn’t dare,” quickly shot through your head. Turning your head, mustering a serious face, you replied, “Oh, but I would.” He knew you wouldn’t. Now smiling, you focused your attention back on the math equations in front of you; they no longer seemed so bad.
It was dark now, and you finally made your way home to the safety of your bed. Your eyes blink open slowly as an unbearable taste overtakes your senses - what on earth was he eating? You reach for your phone to call him and find out, but you don’t want to give him the satisfaction of knowing it got to you.
Your resolve broke after fifteen minutes of torture. You brought your phone to your ear and demanded he stops, threatening to find something far worse to lick if he doesn’t. When the taste doesn’t fade, you reach into your nightstand door and pull out a certain pack of jelly beans. You never quite understood this challenge; there was no reason to try them unless you hate your soulmate. They were perfect for an occasion such as this, though. You poured a handful into your mouth without much thought, taking your time to chew them slowly and with far more thought.
Once you heard coughing over the phone, you finally decided he had enough and stopped eating any more jelly beans.
"Goodnight," you heard from your phone. "Night," you replied, but neither of you hung up.

Saiki with an s/o who just cups his cheeks and tells him they live him for the first time ever.
Hi! This is adorable, thank you so much for this request!! I did a story, not headcanons and it kind of got off track, but I hope you like it!
I went into way too much detail about cupcakes in this, I got carried away, oops. I'm back, though! After months I finally refound my love for this show and along with it my inspiration for writing! I hope this isn't too bad, I wrote it all in one go. I have been writing a personal project, but I doubt I've improved that much in the last couple months. Thank you if you read this! I hope to have more to post soon!

—————————————————–
Your week had been anything but easy. Balancing a school and social life wasn’t supposed to be easy, sure, but this was getting ridiculous. It seemed every assignment was due at some point this past week and every class had some sort of test or exam. On top of everything, your friend group decided it was the perfect time to meet up to study nearly every single day. It was completely and entirely exhausting. You hardly got a free moment to yourself.
To make matters worse, you hadn’t seen Kusuo the entire time. He was part of your friend group, yeah, but by some miracle, he managed to dodge every study session. It was almost like he had superpowers. On most weeks like this, Kusuo was the only thing that could get you through it, being around him was oddly healing - even if he’s a jerk about it sometimes, you miss him dearly. He had some sort of ability to keep you calm and content, just being around him was enough to relieve some of the day's stress. Kusuo was there for you no matter what, whether he was willing to admit that or not. You knew it to be true and he knows you know. That’s enough.
You could feel him rolling his eyes if you were to tell him anything you just thought, that is. That never stopped you, though, you needed to make sure he knows you care for him. No, care is not a strong enough word. You’re sure you love him, there’s no doubt in your mind. How can you go about telling him? He of all people definitely deserves to know he’s loved.
Plotting how you’d tell Kusuo that you love him turned out to be a fantastic stress reliever. Laughing all you want about the cheesy, made-up scenarios you come up with did wonders to calm you down. Anything from a mock proposal on the beach, to screaming it off a cliff. Most of them weren’t realistic, nor to either of your tastes. But they were fun, and that’s all that mattered. You finally decided on telling him the one way you knew he’d like best. Sweets. Content with your idea, you prepared for bed. Tomorrow couldn’t come soon enough.
You woke bright and early. So early, in fact, that the sun had hardly even began to rise. There was work to be done. Quietly, you made your way down to the kitchen, careful enough not to wake anyone up. You decided on a quick and easy breakfast, you could never go wrong with toast. While the bread was toasting, you got out cupcake trays and your cake recipe, reading it over and gathering any ingredients you need. You left any ingredients that needed to be refrigerated in the fridge but prepared measuring cups and bowls for them. Anything that didn’t need to be kept cold was put into the appropriate bowl - wet or dry. As you were measuring out the last of your dry ingredients, you heard a faint pop from the toaster and decided it was time to take a break and eat. Your toast was surprisingly good, probably because you felt you worked for it.
Now was for the easier parts, combining the rest of your recipe and then pouring it into the cupcake trays. You went about your day, waiting for them to finish baking and then cool down. Once they were cool, it was around lunchtime. The perfect time to finish them up with icing. Carefully, you took your time to write out “I love u Kusuo!” Putting each character on its own cupcake - unfortunately having to shorten the “you” so that it would fit on the 12 of them. To add a final touch, you added a couple small heart candies onto some of them. They looked great and you were proud of your work.
As soon as the cupcakes were packaged up and ready to go, you headed immediately out the door. Kusuo didn’t usually like when you showed up suddenly or unannounced, but you carried treats and an important message this time. You were sure he wouldn’t mind too much.
The walk to his house was uneventful as always. You were lucky enough not to run into anyone you knew on the way there. You didn’t want to have to explain yourself and a small part of you expected that running into somebody would only strike disaster - similar to the past week. There was a small skip in your step on the way there, happy to finally see Kusuo after that long, painful week. You didn’t let any of your nerves get to you. Kusuo would take your message well. He had to.
Or, that’s what you were telling yourself as you nervously stood at his doorway. Ringing his doorbell had never been so frightening. You braved it, though, and your finger found its way up to his doorbell. The muffled ring could be heard even from the outside and approaching footsteps that sounded awfully familiar came shortly after.
When the door opened you were greeted with the face you craved to see all week. He looked as unbothered as ever, but the second he stepped aside and his arm gestured to let you in you knew he was happy to see you. With a smile on your face, you went to step inside and-
Apparently, your awful week had yet to cease. Right as you walked in the door, towards Kusuo, your foot caught the bottom of the doorframe. You tripped on it, the box of cupcakes falling along with you. "Oh!” It came out choked and as if you hadn’t meant to say it at all, “No!”
You quickly peeked inside of the box. The icing writing you had worked so hard on was smudged, no longer legible. They were still edible, but the message had been erased. Kusuo was staring down at the cupcakes, an almost puzzled expression on his face. He kept the same expression as his eyes met yours.
“Sorry,” you apologized quickly, “they were for you, I didn’t mean to- to make a mess of them.”
Kusuo only nodded, but it was enough to tell you there was no problem and you hadn’t even needed to apologize. He wasn’t mad.
“Listen, Kusuo I,” you cut yourself off, now that the cupcakes weren’t an option how did you want to tell him?
“Screw it.” You muttered under your breath as you stood up from the ground, dusting yourself off. Now back on your feet, you quickly reached up, placing both your hands on Kusuo’s cheeks. Your thumbs found their way right on his cheekbones, running softly along them. The rest of your fingers could reach to his hair and you had to resist completely tangling them in it. His expression was entirely neutral once more, at the very least he wasn’t offended by your actions.
“I really love you, Kusuo.”
He smiled. He actually smiled. It was genuine, it was beautiful, everything you could’ve asked for and more. His hands were in your cheeks too at this point and he had an uncharacteristically intense look in his eyes.
“I really love you, too.”
Such a simple statement and yet you could feel your cheeks burning up from it. Even worse, his hands were on his face so he could feel it too. He was so close, still smiling at you. You’d never imagined his face was capable of making such a dopey, lovesick smile and yet here he is. And then he hugged you. Tight. He’d never held you like that before, it was so loving and warm. It hardly lasted a couple seconds, so short that you were almost sure you imagined it. As soon as you registered it, it was over, and Kusuo’s normal, unbothered expression remained on his face.
“We shouldn’t let your hard work go to waste, should we? Want to come enjoy these with me?” Kusuo moved down to pick up the box, staring down at them in admiration even if they were a mess by now. You didn’t bother to reply to him, still slightly in shock. You chose to simply follow after him into the other room as he placed the box on a table. Kusuo wasted no time in grabbing one of the cupcakes, his signature sweets-eating-face taking over as soon as he took a bite. It was endearing, to say the least. As if he sensed your hesitation, he nudged the box towards you, encouraging you to take one as well. Despite their state, they still tasted amazing, all your hard work really paid off.
The rest of the day was spent comfortably. You refused to leave Kusuo’s side after everything that happened. You took to ranting about your week and how much you missed him while sat comfortably next to him, right where you wanted to be. Maybe the past week was worth it. You finally got to tell Kusuo you love him and got plenty of time together to make up for it. It had been bad, but like all the times before, Kusuo had a way of making you feel better.

I was wondering if you could write Saiki K with a s/o who reallllllly likes video games,(Like minecraft, animal crossing, stuff like that) and is always thinking about those games and nothing else?
Have a good day (or night), get some rest, and drink lots of water and eat at least 2 meals a day! <3 <3 <3
This is probably the most self-indulgent thing I’ve written in a while... It was a lot of fun, though, so thank you! I apologize for the wait. I wasn’t sure if you wanted a story or headcanons so I did a little bit of both. You have a good day/night and take care of yourself as well! <3 — Reader is gender neutral! WC: 555 Saiki with a S/O that really likes video games. —————————————————–
Saiki Kusuo
⤷ I wholeheartedly believe Saiki would play games like Animal Crossing and Minecraft with you.
⤷ Okay, so they’re not really games that can be spoiled by others' thoughts, and on top of that, they’re nice and relaxing, which means they’re perfect for you and Saiki!
⤷ Honestly, even if he can be spoiled about a game, chances are he’ll still play it with you. He’s more playing to play with you rather than to play the game itself.
⤷ Since you like games so much, though, Saiki will do his best to be as invested in them as he can. Clearly they mean a lot to you, so of course, he wants to be part of something you can enjoy together.
⤷ Since you think about them so much - and Saiki probably cares enough to pay some amount of attention to what you think about - Saiki has a lot of random knowledge about video games.
⤷ If he catches you thinking about that one game a lot and he has the money, there’s a small chance it will appear in your room one day. Saiki denies putting it there.
⤷ Back on the topic of Animal Crossing, his island would either be the prettiest thing you’ve ever seen, or the most unkept island possible. He doesn’t check up on it often without you, so you better help him keep it in check.
⤷ Yes, he can teleport to wherever you are whenever he wants, but Animal Crossing dates are cute and a lot of fun. If you express you want them, Saiki is happy to comply.
---
“Y/N?” Saiki asks, his voice coming through the headphones placed over your ears, “I think I found a… dog?”
It was rather late out, though neither of you were paying attention to the time. Your thoughts were usually occupied by various video games you liked to play - Saiki knew this, but one stuck out this past week a lot more than the others. Naturally, when you’ve basically been hearing about a game all week you’re going to ask about it. So that’s how Saiki ended up here, over a voice all with you in the early hours of the morning, learning how to play Minecraft.
“You did? Do you have any bones?” The excitement was prevalent through your voice, and it didn’t take a genius to know you must like them.
“No…” Saiki’s voice was quiet, you weren’t sure if he was confused or saddened by the revelation he’d need a bone.
“That’s okay!” You quickly assured him, “I think I’m nearby, I’ll bring some bones and try and find you?”
“Alright.” He replied, beginning to describe his location to you. There was a short silence as you made your way over to where you guessed he was.
Luckily for you, your guess was correct, and it wasn’t long until you found your boyfriend’s avatar carefully trailing behind a single wolf. “There you are!” You called out, “Here, take these and right-click the dog with them - don’t left-click, you’ll hurt it.”
After a few attempts, Saiki now had a little dog companion following him around. He knew it was silly, and the dog wasn’t even real. However, maybe he started to understand your excitement and while he’d never admit it, he liked the little dog.

I know this is dumb but can I have a Drabble (?) where the reader (saikis s/o) got super glue on their hands and can’t figure out how to get it off so them and saiki spend hours trying to get it off readers hands? (If it’s possible can it be a non-binary reader?) and maybe some fluff at the end? This is also me right now since my hands are covered in super glue and I can’t get it off🤧🤧
This is so cute, it reminds me of covering my hands with glue as a kid to peel it off (though I do think most kids did this). I hope the glue came off okay! I’m sorry it took so long for me to write this, but it was really fun to write something lighthearted like this. Thank you for the request! — Reader is gender neutral!

Saiki's S/O got superglue all over their hands. —————————————————–
“Are you an idiot?” Kusuo asks you, a deadpan look on his face.
You look back at him, feigning a look of hurt at his remark. Sure, maybe you were currently in a situation that would lead your boyfriend to believe that you’re an idiot - to be fair, he thinks everyone’s an idiot - but that didn’t mean he had to be so rude about it.
Superglue. That was the predicament you found currently found yourself in. In your defense, it is really sticky, and getting it on your hands is just so easy! When you failed to notice the amount that was building up as you glued your project together, it wasn’t difficult to end up with it literally covering the entirety of both of your hands.
So, instead of giving Kusuo a proper reply, you walk up and try to touch the palm of your hand to his face. He quickly dodges, a scowl taking over his features. You can practically feel the how dare you energy radiating off him. You didn’t need to be a psychic to read that thought. Kusuo sighs, the frown from before still on his face.
“Let’s get you cleaned up, then.”
Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. It seems not even a psychic could overcome the forces of super glue. It was stuck and it was stuck on good. Both of you were in the bathroom, you were sitting on the counter near the sink and Kusuo was stood in front of you, holding both your hands under the water. He was scrubbing at your hands, hoping some amount of effort on his part would remove the glue from your hands.
Of course, it wasn’t near enough. It seemed no matter what Kusuo did he could not get the super glue off your hands.
“Are you sure you’re all powerful~? Maybe the superglue is just stronger than you are,” You teased, watching as his hands still moved against yours, despite him looking up to glare at you (to which you promptly stuck out your tongue). It continued that way for a while, you both lightly teasing each other while working the glue off. He’d make some sly remark and you’d tease him back, or vice-versa.
Luckily, in due time the glue was cleaned off your hands. While it took way longer than expected, Kusuo did manage to eventually remove it all. With your hands clean, and a tired boyfriend, you were dragged away to finally do something else.
“Please,” You heard quietly ring in your head, you turned around to see Kusuo himself with a pleading look on his face. You knew that look all too well. “Thank you for helping me, Ku. I’ll get some treats, can you find something to watch?” Kusuo nodded in response, making his way off to the couch to find a movie.
You quickly threw together some snacks, making sure to grab a variety of things to share. Hurrying over to the couch yourself, you placed down the tray of food and made yourself comfortable next to Kusuo.
“I’m never letting you near glue again,” You heard as he put his head down on your shoulder, “Just ask me next time.” You laughed lightly at his small remark, before focusing back on the movie. Maybe getting glue all over your hands wasn’t so bad in the end.

I’ve been loving your little stories so far! I can’t get this scenario out of my head and I’d love you to write about it-
Basically the reader has a little nephew or neice and one day they unexpectedly have to take care of them when Saikis visiting. The reader is really good with kids and Saiki knows they love kids because in their mind they always thought about how nice it will be when they’re able to have kids of their own.
I just want a nice fluffy Drabble or oneshot like this I think it’s adorable🥰🥰
Hi!! Thank you so much! I really hope you like this one too! This is such a cute idea, I hope it’s what you wanted! I’m sorry it’s so short. — Reader is gender neutral!

Italics are Kusuo speaking through telepathy.
Saiki with a S/O who’s good with kids. —————————————————– A nice, uninterrupted evening with your lovely boyfriend Kusuo, that was the plan. Finally free from school and all of its draining obligations, the two of you just wanted to spend some time together. That didn’t last too long, however as your family had failed to warn you that your aunt would be dropping her son off in a mere 15 minutes, even now they forgot to mention it.
The doorbell rang, putting a halt to the night of movies and just a little too much popcorn that you had planned. Excusing yourself from Kusuo, with a look of confusion on your face and fluffy socks on your feet, you swiftly made your way over to the front door.
“Hello, Y/N, dear,” Your aunt greeted you, a sweet smile on her face, “I’m just dropping Haru off.” You quickly wipe the confusion off your face, inviting your aunt and nephew in. After a short conversation with your aunt (where she briefly explained work called her in suddenly and her usual babysitter couldn’t make it). She thanked you, kissed her son on the forehead, and was quickly on her way out.
Kusuo, who was still sitting in the next room - and had been tuning the entire conversation out - found himself genuinely surprised when you walked in with a little boy gripping your hand. He looked up towards you, his eyes practically begging you to explain what’s going on.
“This is my nephew, Haru, my aunt had a work emergency so I’ve got to watch him for a bit. Sorry about our plans...”
“It’s alright.”
Despite your apologies and attempts at looking disappointed, Kusuo could sense your excitement. He was well aware how much you loved kids, there had been so many times you’d excitedly told him about fun outings with your nephews or young cousins. He saw how happy you got talking to him, asking if he’d like a snack before cheerily taking him to the kitchen.
Kusuo stared, admiring you as you interact with your nephew. Currently, you were both sat on the floor, happily working on a puzzle with the aforementioned snacks next to you. A hand came to his chin as he was once again reminded of your countless thoughts. This, this right here was all you’d dreamed of.
Kusuo was pulled from his thoughts when he felt a smaller hand tugging gently on his own. Looking down, his eyes were met with the pleading eyes of your nephew. Looking for your help, Kusuo surveyed the room only to realize you’d left. Unsure of what to do now, he stared back at the child until he spoke.
“Tired,” Haru mumbled, “want a movie.” Immediately after, Haru climbed into Kusuo’s lap, settling down to stare at the television comfortably. Kusuo was surprised at how fine he was with this. The whole time Haru had been visiting he’d kept his distance. He doesn’t like kids, or so he thought.
Thankfully, you came back into the room at that moment. Kusuo could already hear your teasing thoughts, thinking about how cute he looked with your nephew curled up on his lap. You rushed to sit beside him, joining them both in watching whatever obscure kids movie was playing on the television. It wouldn’t be long until both Haru and you fell asleep, Haru’s head on Kusuo’s chest, and yours on his shoulder.
As you dozed off, however, Kusuo caught himself agreeing with your thoughts. Staring down at the young boy resting in his lap, he allowed his imagination to wander.
Yeah, maybe he was wrong about himself. Maybe kids wouldn’t be so bad after all. Though, if he was honest, he could only see himself having kids with one person. Kusuo looked down at you and smiled. He pulled both you and Haru in a little closer to him, the small boy cuddling further into his chest as he did. Resting his head on top of yours, Kusuo shut his eyes.

boyfriend headcanons for kaidou 💞💞😩😩 (she/her)
Hey! I’m so sorry for the wait on this! I hope you enjoy! —
Reader is female!
WC: 459
Random boyfriend headcanons for Kaidou Shun. —————————————————–
Kaidou Shun
First things first, I feel like Kaidou’s the type of person that, despite his shy nature, would be rather touchy, but only in private. When he gets truly comfortable around his girlfriend, he likes to be touching you whenever possible. It’s never anything crazy, just small things like his leg/arm resting against yours, or holding your hand.
I know Kaidou can be super blushy, but he’d get over that stage pretty fast. He really likes you, so he made sure that you’re someone he could feel safe around, someone who wouldn’t judge him no matter what.
Planning fights against dark reunion together? Creating notebooks, filling them with ideas and drawings? I think yes.
“Camping” out in his room under a pillow fort while filling in a journal with your most recent adventures + cuddles.
His friends would love you - okay maybe not Saiki - but you’d get along great with Kuboyasu. You’re Kaidou’s girlfriend, how could you not? Honestly, you’d probably just get adopted into his friend group. This is a win-win because you get some wonderful friends and Kaidou gets to spend more time with you.
Wrap his hands in his bandages and this man goes soft, love love loves it, he finds it intimate and sweet. Gets to be close to you without it being anything he’s got to be nervous about.
Is super proud to have you. Shows you off in his own unique ways. Out on a date? Will proudly link arms with you so everyone can see you’re together. He doesn’t go all out with the PDA, but he isn’t completely against it. Hugs, holding hands and such are all good in public, but he won’t go much further.
On the other hand, does not like PDA when he’s with you and his friends. He will still hold hands/link arms but he thinks it’s weird for him to do that in front of his friends.
Cheek rubbing??? But seriously I can see him cuddling you and rubbing his cheek against yours or the top of your head.
Same with top of the head kisses, especially if you’re shorter than him. If you’re taller, please kiss the top of his head, he loves it.
As well as that, head pats! Just general small things like that. Kaidou 100% likes his head touched, and fingers ran through his hair (but really only when it’s yours).
If you let him lay his head in your lap or on your chest, he’ll be so happy. Pet his hair and he will certainly fall asleep there. Same for on your shoulder.
You’re his beautiful girlfriend that he adores so much, just wants to spend time with you and be close to you in any way he can.

Don’t You Forget About Me (TsukiYama)

Yamaguchi is missing. —————————————————–
It can all come to an end in an instant. Who would’ve imagined it would take missing person posters and search parties for Tsukishima to come to that conclusion?
College students don’t just disappear for no reason. Especially not tall, strong college boys who could easily defend themselves. Especially not Yamaguchi Tadashi.
Yamaguchi Tadashi, the light of so many people's lives, where have you gone? He was someone Tsukishima never thought would disappear - having been in his life for so many years. He couldn’t imagine life without the smaller, green-haired boy. It had never crossed his mind that he'd have to spend even a day without hearing Yamaguchi go on, telling him about his day, or being called “Tsukki”, much to his own annoyance. The irritated expression that the nickname caused never seemed to prevent it, anyway.
He missed the sound of him calling that nickname, running up to him with slight enthusiasm to share whatever news he had. It had been weeks since he last heard it. He had always tuned Yamaguchi’s rambling out, if even he listened, it was never truly his full attention. Tsukishima wished now he’d listened better. Maybe if he had, Yamaguchi would be here right now. They’d be at one of their homes and Yamaguchi would be beside him, telling him all about some silly thing his classmate did or what happened in today’s lecture. If only he was, Tsukishima thought bitterly to himself. Oh, what he’d give to hear about Yamaguchi’s day right now, some sense of normalcy back to his life. He knew he’d listen with all his attention, focused on every syllable that Yamaguchi tells him.
The guilt and regrets ate him alive. It was his fault, he knew it. If only he hadn’t-
“Tsukishima!” The voice snapped him out of his thoughts. “You’re doing it again, snap out of it.”
Tsukishima’s head turned slowly to the source of the voice, not having the mental energy to match a name to it right now. The orange hair was familiar, it didn’t take any more than that for a name to pop in his mind. Hinata Shouyou. Oddly enough, someone that he’d kept contact with after high school. He didn’t understand why they kept in as close contact as they did. Maybe it was being on a volleyball team together for three years, or something about his aggravatingly bright and cheery personality, but they kept in touch. Of course, Hinata knew about Yamaguchi’s disappearance and likely about Tsukishima’s suffering as well.
He took this chance to take in his surroundings once again, delaying his reply to Hinata’s words. The police station, such an ordinary sight to him now. The old desks and creaky chairs. It wasn’t kept as up-to-date as he imagined it would be. He’s visited countless times over the past two weeks, talking to officers and being interviewed by more detectives than he cared to remember. He always found himself apathetic as can be during those times, it was easier to just be unfeeling and not entirely present. He was still more than willing to respond to questions and help out with the investigation in any way he could. Mainly because he did not want to be counted as a potential suspect. Tsukishima internally grimaced at the thought, as if he’d ever intentionally do anything to hurt Yamaguchi. Now, he was seated near the entrance, just having come out of yet another exhausting discussion, asking the detectives the same questions he had every day since his disappearance. He knew most of these cases closed within the first twenty-four hours, so why hadn’t they found anything yet?
“Doing what?” He asked, he knew what Hinata meant by the question, but it was far easier to play dumb. His voice was completely monotone and yet it sounded harsh and venomous. Hinata visibly reeled back, only a flinch but enough for Tsukishima to take notice. “Sorry.” He apologized, it was still cold, but not nearly as vicious as before.
“Spiraling,” Hinata stated simply. “Don’t put all the blame on yourself, Tsukishima, it won’t help.” Hinata had a point and Tsukishima knew it. That didn’t mean he wasn’t going to ignore that fact, though. His hands came up to his temples, long fingers rubbing them slightly in an attempt to relieve the tension. “I just want him home and safe,” Tsukishima’s voice was low, quiet, and soft. A complete contrast to the way he was speaking before.
"I know, we all do. We’re all worried." Hinata spoke, glancing nervously towards Tsukishima. He never got a reply, receiving only an icy glare instead. There was only one thing on Tsukishima’s mind, nobody truly understood how he felt during all of this. Everyone around him was sympathetic, trying to be understanding and attempting to help. However, no other person was feeling the pain like he is, and nobody else felt the shame corrupt them like he currently was. He knew not another soul wanted Yamaguchi back as badly as he did.
He forced his thoughts to halt. This isn’t about him, it’s about Yamaguchi. Who cares how he feels while his best friend is out there, still missing? With that, Tsukishima stood and left without another glance in Hinata’s direction. That didn’t stop his friend from noticing his sullen, pained expression that seemed permanently etched into his features. Hinata followed out the door shortly after, but by the time he got outside Tsukishima was nowhere to be seen.
The sound of his keys trying to force their way into his door snapped Tsukishima out of his thoughts yet again. Realizing he was putting the wrong key into his door, he switched to the right one, swiftly unlocking the door and entering the apartment. To say it was untidy was an understatement. It was overwhelmingly messy, he hadn’t bothered to take much care of it ever since Yamaguchi went missing. He sighed, picking up some clothes and throwing them into a laundry basket.
One sweatshirt caught his eye, it certainly wasn’t his. It had the name of a college printed neatly on the back, but it wasn’t that which grabbed his attention. No, the last name stitched into the arm, Yamaguchi. Of course. Of course, it had to be his, he must’ve left it here the night- No. Tsukishima still refused to think about Yamaguchi's last moments with him. He stared at the hoodie for just a little longer before giving in and slipping it over the t-shirt he was currently wearing. He felt bad for wearing it without permission, but it was the only way he felt he could have his friend back, even if it was only a little.
He looked around the apartment once again, seeing it was somewhat cleaner than before. It was now, he realized, just how empty it felt. Most nights, especially ones like these, Yamaguchi would be over. He basically lived at Tsukishima’s place, sleeping there more nights than at his own apartment. Tsukishima could see Yamaguchi on his couch, hunched over notes and cramming for some upcoming quiz. Or maybe he’d be seen in the kitchen, laughing at something stupid while he makes hot chocolate, the TV on in the background. He had such a nice laugh. Despite everything that had happened the last two weeks, Tsukishima still half expected him to wander out of the guest bedroom, waking up from a nap and stretching as he mumbles a small, “Good evening, Tsukki,” before making himself comfortable on the couch and opening Netflix. Yamaguchi had always been a welcome guest, Tsukishima could only wish he’d told him that all the times he got the chance.
Tsukishima walked into the kitchen, freezing for a moment, realizing Yamaguchi really wasn’t there. He peeked into the guest bedroom as well, seeing only an unmade bed and a black backpack sitting, leaned on the corner. He couldn’t bear to look at it anymore before turning around and walking straight to his bedroom. The thought of eating right now repulsed him. Sleeping wasn’t much more appealing, but at least he wouldn’t have to force himself to stomach something. It was too early to sleep, only being 9 p.m, but the exhaustion that overtook his body overtook any will power he had to stay awake any longer. So he slept.
Tsukishima stirred from his sleep, sitting up in his bed before looking over at the clock that sat beside him. 9 a.m, huh? He slept a long time. His body felt rejuvenated and oddly energized as he slipped out of his bed. The world looked just a little brighter today. Maybe it was the sun shining, just barely visible from behind his blinds or maybe it was the sweet smell of pancakes that overtook his senses. Wait, pancakes? Who was making-
“Tsukki! Get up, silly, I made breakfast!” Yamaguchi’s head peered its way into Tsukishima’s bedroom, peaking past the door frame. His hair was messier than usual, signaling that he woke up not that long ago as well. Tsukishima’s heart jumped upon seeing his face. There was no mistaking it, that’s really him. “Oh, you’re awake. Come eat!”
“Yamaguchi? It’s really you?” Tsukishima called out, disbelief evident in his voice.
“Who else?” He asked sarcastically, a small giggle coming out after he spoke, “C’mon, I’ll cut up some strawberries to go on the side. Oh! Do you have whipped cream? I couldn’t find any.”
Tsukishima opened his mouth to answer, but before he could he felt himself shooting up in his bed again. He blinked, his room was suddenly pitch black, the only light was a faint glow coming from the clock that was next to him. It read 5 a.m, how he wished it would say 9 instead. How badly he wanted to go back to that dream. Tsukishima sighed, tears welling up in his eyes as a sob escaped his mouth before he could stop it. A hand came up, covering his mouth in an attempt to prevent any more sound from coming out. It was in vain, however, as loud, violent sobs took over his body. He shook as he cried, removing the hand from his mouth to cover his eyes. The tears wouldn’t stop coming, even when his sobs were reduced to mere whimpers. This was the first time he allowed himself to feel Yamaguchi’s disappearance. That dream was vile and yet it was everything he wanted right now.
Tsukishima clambered lazily and clumsily out of bed. Falling onto the floor with a small thud. He pulled his blanket off his bed, wrapping it tightly around himself after he reached to grab his phone. He promised himself he wouldn’t do this, and yet here he was, giving in to his desires. He knew it would only hurt more, but he needed to hear Yamaguchi’s voice.
After staring at the screen for a moment, making sure he was as mentally prepared as he could be, he opened the phone app. There was no point in calling him, that was something Tsukishima had learned quickly. Yamaguchi’s phone was currently in the black backpack that sat in the guest bedroom. Tsukishima tapped on the button for voicemails, quickly calling the service to replay some of the old ones that Yamaguchi had left him. He didn’t take his eyes off the screen as he listened to the voice that fell from his speakers.
“Hey, Tsukki, I hope your practice is going well! The fact you didn’t pick up means it probably is. Anyways, uh, I’m gonna be a little late coming over tonight. We were assigned a group project and I need to drop by my partner’s house to work things out. I don’t know if we’re getting started or not, but I still wanna work out who’s gonna do what. I’m still coming by your place, though! Don’t you forget about me!” Yamaguchi laughed, “Okay, bye-bye! I’ll see you later tonight!”
The voicemail ended there. If only those last few words were true.
“Don’t you forget about me!” Yamaguchi was joking when he said that, Tsukishima was sure of it, but those words still repeated in his head, even minutes after he heard them. How could he ever forget about someone like him?
He clearly remembered the night that he had received that voicemail. Yamaguchi was, indeed, late that night. It wasn’t any trouble, all they did was binge a TV series and chat about their days. It was nothing out of the ordinary, it happened most nights for them, whenever school wasn’t too busy. It was peaceful and good at relieving stress for both of them. Just casually watching whatever stupid show is on with the person most important to you. He missed putting on purposely bad television with him, just to make fun of it until the early hours of the morning.
Tsukishima considered listening to another voicemail but thought better than to do so. He should save them for another night like this, where he needs nothing more than to hear Yamaguchi’s cheerful voice. He knew he’d need them again.
He thought back to the last time Yamaguchi didn’t sound cheerful. It was the last night they saw each other. Yamaguchi was visiting, as per usual. School had been particularly rough on both of them, each having their personal struggles, academic struggles, and a need to let out their frustrations. Yamaguchi was tired, that much was evident on his face. Tsukishima wasn’t having the greatest time and took some of that out on Yamaguchi. The argument that broke out between them was loud and brutal. It escalated to the point Tsukishima just wanted it to end, insulting Yamaguchi in an attempt to shut him up.
The heartbroken expression on his face was enough to send Tsukishima into another wave of tears. It was like it was ingrained into his eyelids, he saw it every time he blinked. The last thing he remembers was Yamaguchi, tears falling rapidly down his face, sprinting past him out the door. He didn’t even turn to grab his things.
Tsukishima was too proud to run after him, Yamaguchi never returned.
He curled in on himself, the guilt becoming overbearing once again. It was too much, he felt physically unable to handle his emotions. He cried for the second time that night. He was unwilling to go back to sleep, afraid of the cruel yet welcoming dream would come back to him. Eventually, his crying tired him out so much he couldn’t resist the call of sleep. He slept sitting on the floor, still in Yamaguchi’s sweatshirt. Luckily, he didn’t dream of anything. Just a heavy, unfulfilling sleep.
The next morning he was woken by a phone call from Hinata. Still irritated at himself for last night and everything that had happened, he answered the phone with a curt hello.
“Tsukishima? You alright? Did I wake you?” Hinata’s concerned voice asked him.
“Of course I’m not fine, Hinata, they haven’t found him.” Tsukishima had to stop and take a breath, he couldn’t be crying over the phone with Hinata listening. “And yes, you did wake me. What is it?”
“I was just going to invite you for lunch - I think it might do you some good. Kageyama agreed to come, he’s worried too.”
Tsukishima wasn’t sure how to feel. On one hand, he had two of his friends trying to help him through this. They were doing their best and they must be having a hard time too. On the other hand, the thought of leaving this spot on his floor, having to walk past the places he could only wish Yamaguchi would be pained him.
“I-I’ll come.” His voice was as unsure as his thoughts, but he knew it would be a good chance to try and take his mind off things.
“Don’t you forget about me!” The simple statement rang through his head once again. It was so meaningless at the time. He never knew such a small, insignificant joke would haunt him in this way. He wasn’t going to forget, no. He was just meeting with friends, not moving on.
Tsukishima’s internal reassurances caused him to miss whatever Hinata had been saying.
“-so we’ll meet you there. Does that sound good?” Hinata rambled into the phone.
“Sorry, meet me where?” Tsukishima prayed his friend wouldn’t notice that he hadn’t been paying attention the entire time.
“The café we normally go to, the one down the street from your place?” Hinata’s voice was calm, it sounded more comforting than usual. Tsukishima found this strange, usually, he found his voice to be annoying. It seemed Hinata was trying to help more than Tsukishima realized. He was internally far more grateful than Hinata would ever know.
“Right. Thank you.” He didn’t even mean to thank him, it slipped out. He hung up the phone before he could get a reply. Reluctantly, Tsukishima stood from his blankets, realizing he’d need to shower and get ready before going out. As quickly as he could, he stumbled into the bathroom. Still half in a daze, he washed his hair and slipped into clean clothes. The apartment was way too quiet for a Saturday afternoon. There was no quiet TV in the next room, nor was there the sound of a soft, gentle voice mumbling as Yamaguchi was reading over his notes. He’d always found the murmuring annoying, he now didn’t understand how he ever did.
Standing in his bedroom doorway, Tsukishima took a deep breath. He was ready to leave, but the hard part came now. A knock at his door startled him. Hinata and Kageyama weren’t supposed to pick him up? It’s far too early, anyways. The knock came again, this time harder.
“Coming,” Tsukishima called out, his feet yet to move. He shut his eyes and made his way as quickly as he could towards the door. Without looking behind him, where he knew certain disappointment would await, he opened the door.
A familiar face was at his door, the lead detective on Yamaguchi’s case. The detective began speaking, asking if he could come inside and recommending Tsukishima take a seat.
The detective inhaled sharply, choosing his next words carefully, “We found Yamaguchi,” he started, but Tsukishima interrupted frantically before he could finish.
“Where! Where is he?” Tsukishima cried out.
“He’s dead.”
And at that very moment, Tsukishima’s entire world stopped. Dead? Yamaguchi Tadashi, dead? There’s no way. Not his best friend of so many years, not the man who’d gotten him through so much. There’s no way, it’s impossible. No. No. No.
“You’re wrong!” He yelled, his voice had never been so pained, so desperate, “It’s someone else! It has to be! Tell me it’s someone else!”
“The DNA match checks out, so does the appearance. I’m sorry.”
The detective left soon after, he had no more business there. Tsukishima didn’t move, hardly blinking nor breathing. He could hear his heartbeat racing in his ears. It was painful. Why did his heart get to beat? Why his heart and not Yamaguchi’s? He didn’t notice when Hinata and Kageyama walked in and sat in front of him. The tear stains on Hinata’s face would’ve given away that they knew as well, had Tsukishima looked at him. Kageyama tried to keep strong for the other two, but looking into his eyes would give away that he was hurting too.
“Tsukishima?” Hinata called out gently, kneeling in front of him while resting a hand on Tsukishima’s knee, trying to get a look at his face.
“He’s dead, Hinata. Gone.” Tsukishima’s mouth moved without him realizing it. It was as if life was on autopilot, he felt completely numb. Hinata said nothing, but opened his arms, inviting his friend in for a hug. Tsukishima leaned in, once again without even realizing his actions. Hinata held him as he cried.
The funeral hurt him even more. Having to see his body there, dressed up to look nice, it was a sickening sight. He sat, watching friends and family members tearfully say their goodbyes. He was among one of the last to say goodbye, wanting to delay the reality of the situation as long as he could. The fact he was not coming back hadn’t truly dawned on him yet. It was a realization he knew he’d make soon and he feared the day it would come. Akiteru came along, and he wasn’t sure if his brother's presence was to support him or to attend the funeral itself. Chances are it was a mix of both.
Tsukishima was of course asked to speak, and there was no way he could refuse. He stood up, looking at the group of people before him. Some were crying their eyes out, others were just glassy-eyed - trying to remain as strong as they could. Yamaguchi really had an effect on people. Tsukishima blanked for the entirety of his speech, letting his thoughts spew out of his mouth without thinking. He had no idea if anything he said was making sense nor did he have any idea what he was actually saying. All he knew was the only thing fueling him at this point was raw emotion.
It was scary. Not something he was used to.
Once the ceremony ended, Tsukishima was back on autopilot. He knew he needed to move on in life. What he didn’t know, however, was how he would manage to do so. Yamaguchi was always there through the big changes. He’d always been Tsukishima's rock, the one consistent thing no matter what.
Everything felt bleak and empty. On particularly bad nights, he’d still half-expect to see Yamaguchi in his living room when he came home. He considered moving out, but he knew he’d regret it. It was the last place he had memories with his best friend, the last place he was seen alive.
Alive. Tsukishima had grown to hate that word. He felt the same way he did the day he found out about his best friend's death. It was unfair, he felt he should’ve been the one to run out. Maybe if he had he’d be dead instead of Yamaguchi, or maybe they’d both be fine and happy. Either option sounded better than the life he was currently living. He had his other friends, sure, but none of them could come close to comparing to his best friend.
The apartment haunted him, but there was no way he could leave. The bed in the guest bedroom still hadn’t been made, despite it being well over a month since anyone had slept in there. The black backpack remained untouched, leaning on the end of the bed. That was Yamaguchi’s room and Tsukishima refused to meddle with it. A part of him hoped every day that he’d come back. He just wanted to pull him in for a hug and apologize. Even if he wasn’t forgiven - and he believed he shouldn’t be - he just wanted a chance to tell Yamaguchi everything he’d meant to him.
Sometimes he got the chance to, in his dreams. Those always turned to nightmares. Yamaguchi never forgave him, it always resulted in him running away, turning us back from Tsukishima and claiming how he’ll never forgive him. Tsukishima knew that was unlike Yamaguchi, but having to witness it, night after night, was more than Tsukishima could handle. One phrase never failed to come back-
“Don’t you forget about me!” Yamaguchi’s voice rang through his head once again, it was becoming a normal occurrence at this point. It was haunting, yet Tsukishima welcomed it. Even though it terrified him, even though he hated being reminded of the death he felt he caused, it was such a comforting voice. The words reminded him that he hadn’t forgotten. He made one last promise to himself, one that he intended to keep.
“I won’t,” Tsukishima whispered.

Not a request but something to think about because I had a realisation and I needed to share this with someone who could prolly use it or something idk, it’s here for you.
So the other day I was explaining how if saiki were real, he’d love me cus I have so many thoughts in my head it’s quiet. Everyone said that he’d hate me like Touma Akechi but that’s not what I meant, so I did some research and discovered stuff~
- in your head when u think, there’s an internal monologue right? You’ll “hear” words and stuff. Yeah well most times the internal monologue stops for me
- there are a few people in the world who don’t have internal monologue actually, the way we “think” is through emotions or images. So if I were hungry I wouldn’t go “oh I’m hungry” but my head would conjur an image of my kitchen
- since saiki can only hear internal monologue, (as demonstrated by the fact that everyone’s voices can be heard) and he’s not an empath who can sense others feelings (he’s too much of a brick wall for that) individuals like me could go undetected mind reading wise.
Idk, sorry for the long rant, this concept was better in your hands than mine 😂
Okay first of all YES. He’d like people like you so so much. I know there are people that think like that, and I think it’s so cool, probably cause it’s so different from my brain. I’m the complete opposite, I mentally narrate and monologue pretty much everything I do (to a point it even gets on my nerves - sorry Saiki). I’m constantly thinking words.
While I do agree he’d hear nothing at all, I wonder if there’s a chance he’d still “hear” the images, like an image description or if he’d see them in his head as well. I think he’d enjoy having friends that think in words less, but people he could still read. It seemed pretty canon that he did not like not knowing how people were going to act/not being able to read their thoughts. That’s part of the reason he doesn’t like small insects, right? Same goes for his brother with the telepathy canceller and with Nendou.
I really do believe he’d find your way of thinking facinating, it would be so different from everything he sees every day. Like a breath of fresh air to him. Though, I imagine he’d be pretty concerned the first time he meets you, before he understands how your brain works. It might appear like you think less or do things without even thinking about them? He’d probably just ask, but it’s kinda hard to do that without blowing his cover.
I think he’d purposely try to make friends with you, to everyone’s confusion, just because you would be significantly less annoying to be around (not that it’s anyones fault they annoy him, in this case). Once he got to know you, you’d be less scary and unpredicable so I think he’d enjoy the company.
This would be very different from Akechi. If I remember correctly (I probably don’t, I don’t know as much about him as I’d like and it’s been a while), Akechi was characterized as having multiple trains of thought at once, so much that it was overwhelming and confusing to listen to. On top of that I think he was able to say one thing and think another? But like, both were entirely coherent, it was quite impressive. This differs with yours, because even if you’re thinking constantly/a lot, it would be in things Saiki can’t quite see or hear. He’d value that, it would be peaceful and quiet for him. It would make him feel normal.
Sorry if this was wrong anywhere, like I said, my brain works very differently. I definitely agree Saiki would love that in a person :)

Saiki and Kaido with a s/o who can make like any sweet? Candy, Cake, Coffee jelly etc
This is so sweet, I think they’d both like a S/O like that. Thank you for requesting!! Sorry for the wait and that it’s short. — I said I was going to do a bunch of requests for 300 and then life decided to get super busy :( I’m hopefully back on writing regularly again! Thank you for the support!
Reader is gender neutral. Fluffy and cute!

Saiki and Kaidou with a S/O that can make anything. —————————————————–
Saiki Kusuo
You can make anything? Anything he asks for?
Congrats, the boy’s in love with you.
No, but for real, he’s super appreciative of both your sweet-making talent and any willingness you have to make him food.
Will find recipes and beg ask you to try making them for him.
Right away your baking is his favourite. Does not matter how fantastic a bakery is, or how perfect someone else’s treats are, yours are always the best to him.
Don’t tell him you can make coffee jelly. If you do, you will be making it and you’ll make it often. Let’s hope you like it too.
If Saiki’s honest, your baking abilities are the only reason he found you tolerable in the first place. That obviously changed, however, as he loves you for far more than that, even if he still adores that part of you.
One of his favourite things is when you try to surprise him with cakes or a baked treat. Even if it’s never a true surprise, the effort that goes behind it means the world to him. They always taste even better that way.
Loves anything you bring him, but, he’ll give constructive criticism followed by endless compliments. He wants to help you improve your skill, without discouraging you or being rude. He’s nice about his critiques while being extremely helpful.
You get to cause that expression of pure bliss on his face and that’s truly life’s greatest joy.
Kaidou Shun
He’s super excited when he finds out. Kaidou would think it’s super cool and want to try anything and everything you make.
Hear me out: Kaidou getting all soft and asking you to teach him to make treats.
He just wants to spend time with you doing something you love.
Does not know a thing about cooking or baking, but once you teach him he tries to make things for you. The food he brings you is far from perfect, but it’s the thought that counts.
He enjoys making food with you so much more than on his own anyway.
Kaidou’s likes when you make cakes or cupcakes the most, he likes decorating them with you. He feels like it brings you closer, and enjoys thinking up silly designs.
Icing is always smeared everywhere, but even cleaning up is fun with Kaidou, he just makes things fun no matter what.
He probably tears up at least a little whenever you bring him food you’ve made. It makes him feel so loved and special.
Has said “wow” out loud on multiple occasions when you show him sweets you’ve made. Even if it’s just something small and simple like pudding or cookies.
Kaidou is super supportive, helps you find any ingredients you need, and is overall enthusiastic about your hobby. He thinks it’s insanely impressive that you can pull off making practically whatever. More importantly, you enjoy it and that’s what matters most to him.

Congrats on 300 love! I don’t think I’ve requested something yet from you even though I love your writing! Anyway, could I request a fic where Teruhashi and the (fem)reader are dating(usually I don’t mind what pronouns the reader has but for this one it’s kinda relevant. But you can make it gender neutral if you want)? So the two have been dating for a few months. The reason Teruhashi entered this relationship wasn’t because of “love” but because she wanted to get her fans off her back and what better was to do that than enetering a relationship with another girl. She this that it may help get her male fans off her and at first it’s great. Then the reader starts to see the relationship declining. At first Teruhashi was sweet and kind but now she is kind of rude to the reader, saying things like how she is embarrassing her or that if Teruhashi is so perfect why isn’t her s/o capable of being that way too. Mean ik (I don’t like Teruhashi if you couldn’t tell), the reader is also dealing with comments from her fans saying that the relationship is a charity case and such so she is feeling horrible in the relationship. A fight happens between the two and mean stuff is said. They break up and the reader isn’t taking it well. Not because she is upset she isn’t in the relationship cause she is happy to be out but because of the backlash from fans. Seeing this either Kuboyasu (jabjshsk I love him sm) or Saiki (love him too) comfort her and they begin to hang out more till they start to date. The two are now in a healthy and loving relationship and the reader gets to see what that feels like and how that wasn’t what she had with Teruhashi... I really just write this whole fic out lmao. I was going to write it but I’m simply lazy and I wanted to request something from you. As always ignore this or change anything if you don’t like it an take your time please don’t rush or stress yourself out. Ily hun❤️❤️
Hi!! Thank you so much <3! I wanted to say that I adore this request and honestly was ready to drop everything to write it, what an amazing idea you have here! I’m worried I focused a little too much on the Teruhashi part but, man, I’m a sucker for angst so it was a lot of fun. I think I may have gone a little overboard, as I don’t think I’ve written something this long before. I’m sorry if it’s wrong or not quite what you wanted. Thank you so so much for this request, I love it!
Small edit: I forgot to add I picked Saiki for this, as I think I write him a bit better than Kuboyasu!
— Reader is female! Warnings for slight angst, break up, fighting.

Italics are Saiki “speaking” telepathically.
Teruhashi is the perfect pretty girl, on the outside at least. —————————————————–
“So, what I’m trying to say is… Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?” Teruhashi asked on the rooftop one fateful evening after school. She looked as gorgeous as ever, trying to hide her slightly blushing face as she avoided your eyes. The wind was blowing gently through her hair, causing it to sway ever so slightly to one side. The sun was setting behind her, giving her an even more angelic glow to her appearance. You said yes, of course, how could you not? It was magical, especially when it was from the world’s prettiest girl. There was no way you could reject her.
The perfect couple. That’s how it appeared to be. For some time, that’s even how it was.
Teruhashi Kokomi. Your stunning, admirable, and perfect girlfriend. She’s amazing. A few months ago when she asked you to be her girlfriend you were exhilarated. The thought of dating what many considered to be the perfect girl was a chance you knew you just couldn’t pass up. All the time spent with her felt like cloud nine, she made sure you were happy no matter what, and of course, you tried to do the same for her. Her reputation truly held up, even in private.
Over those months, it amazed you what a wonderful girlfriend she was, having seemingly endless affection and love for you. It felt like she was more in tune with your emotions than you’d ever been. She was always ready to listen to your problems, whether you just wanted to vent or needed solutions. She was such a giver in the relationship that you even felt a little bad about it.
She knew that, but she’d never tell you. Not yet, anyway.
So many precious memories flashed through your mind as you thought about her. From getting ice cream on hot summer days to study dates amid a cold, snowy winter (where there wasn’t as much studying as there was cuddling). All the late nights you had spent with her, talking about everything and yet nothing. Video calls at the bright and early hours of the mornings just so she could get your opinion on what she should wear for the day. Every little thing you did together seemed as perfect as Teruhashi herself.
So where had it all gone wrong?
The relationship seemed like it was going great. What happened? What had you done wrong? Recently, Teruhashi had been acting anything but herself. She’s been aggressive, rude, and not interested in anything to do with your relationship at all. She’d avoid you, ignore your calls and texts. When she did see you, she’d throw insult after insult your way, blaming you for problems that were far from in your control, ones that her in her life, not yours. But that wasn’t even the half of it.
What made it even worse? That was only in private. In public, whenever she was with you (or without) she put on her little show of being Miss Perfect. You don’t know how you didn’t see through it before, looking back it was so obvious how fake it was. While in public you were sometimes able to convince yourself she still loved you, clinging onto a desperate hope that things weren’t nearly as bad as reality would tell you. Maybe she was just having a rough time? Her life must be hard, with the constant stalking and fans harassing her along with the need to keep everything in her life completely in order. She must just be tired of it and need somewhere to vent her anger. You didn’t mind being that person, but just not like this. You couldn’t always expect her to be perfect, and you hadn’t. You did your best to make it clear to her from the start that you didn’t need her to be perfect all the time and that you’d be there no matter what. If she wanted to relax in private with you, she was more than welcome to. She never did.
You had it rough, too. Her fan club was constantly harassing you as well. They called you names worse than she did, and had gone to extreme lengths just to get you to break up with her. They stole your things, drew on your desk, and were all-around horrible towards you. They claimed the only reason Teruhashi was dating someone like you was that she pities you, Teruhashi could do so much better. Deep down, you knew that may be the case, but she still asked you out for a reason, right? You never once complained about it, nor told Teruhashi. It would be okay in the end, and being with her was worth it.
Looking back, the red flags were there from the start. It would’ve been better if you caved to the fan club’s wishes from the beginning.
Your arguments seemed to only get worse with time. Insults being thrown your way more than once a day. During a particularly bad argument, she expressed how she felt she was the only one keeping the relationship alive, the only one that truly cared. For the first time, you fought back.
“How could you say such a thing! I do my best for you, I’m sorry we can’t all be Miss Perfect! I try so hard and yet it’s never good enough, is it?” You yelled in frustration, your voice was a lot louder and far more powerful than you intended. Teruhashi was visibly taken aback, despite her constant berating, you had never once raised your voice at her. She paused for a moment, clearly to think. You could easily tell just what she was thinking about.
You had no idea she’d been keeping track of everything you told her. Well, you did, but you never imagined your insecurities would be used against you in the way Teruhashi has been. Screaming them, bringing them up to your face, and forcing you to face them without warning. Using them to insult you, making them worse, and letting them dig deeper into the back of your mind.
Her face contorted in anger, even angrier than before. Listing things “wrong” with you as if her life depended on it, Teruhashi began her angry ranting. She wanted to get it across to you that she’s perfect and you’re far from that. She listed everything you’d ever done that irked her, every annoying thing you’ve said, and every problem you’ve ever told her about. She mocked emotions you’d told her in confidence and confessed that she always found them dramatic and ridiculous. She expressed how embarrassing it was to be seen in public with you, how she should only be seen with people on the same level as herself. If that wasn’t enough, she dealt one last finishing blow.
“I never loved you anyway.”
She turned and she left, slamming the door to your house shut behind her.
Your mind went blank and you barely noticed your knees hitting the floor as you collapsed to the ground. You didn’t realize you were crying until you felt the tears soaking into your shirt. You couldn’t see nor hear, everything around you felt numb and dark. Did she really mean all of that? There was no way you were that bad of a girlfriend to her.
Why did you still not want to break up?
Days passed and you still hadn’t left your bedroom, let alone your house. Your phone was blown up with texts from your friends, asking if you were sick. You learned from glancing at a few of the messages that Teruhashi had told them that. Reading her name hurt, it made you feel ill as you remembered what had happened a mere few days ago.
Your phone dinged once again. You reached out and grabbed it with a weak grasp, not having the energy to do more than the bare minimum. The name on your screen made a wave of nausea come over you, the content of the message not helping either.
From: Kokomi♡
I’m coming over.
You really needed to change that contact name. That wasn’t what was important, though. Why was she coming here? What else could she possibly need from you, and what on earth else could you possibly offer? You didn’t have much time to think about it, you needed to appear at least somewhat put together by the time she got here.
Your hair was just finished drying as you pulled on clean clothes. You made sure the entrance and living room areas of your house were clean, along with the kitchen. The knock at the door sounded so familiar, Teruhashi always knocked the same way. It sent chills down your spine. Pulling on the best neutral face you could muster and forcing your legs to move, you opened the door.
She looked different. There was no glow to her anymore. She’d never looked less like an angel in your eyes. Even compared to when she’d been yelling at you. It was jarring, almost like she’s a total stranger. It’ll make talking to her easier, you mused.
You wordlessly invited her in, stepping aside as she avoided eye contact and made her way to sit in the living room. Even once you were sat in front of her, she still wouldn’t look at you. You couldn’t tell if that was because she felt shame or disgust. You just hoped it wasn’t the latter.
“What do you need?” You started the conversation, keeping your voice as steady as you could muster. You were quite impressed with how well you were doing.
“We need to break up.” She stated, still not looking up. You rolled your eyes.
“As if I’d stay with you after that.” You spit out, trying to keep your words from sounding too venomous. A moment of silence, you could feel your heartbeat quicken in your chest. The nerves were starting to get to you and one of you needed to say something before the panic could set in. Luckily, Teruhashi did.
“They were right, you know - the fan club?” She said quietly.
“What?” You were surprised, she knew about that?
“It was like a charity case. I only dated you to get them off my back. Didn’t work though. Shame.” Her voice was calm, way too calm to be saying something so harsh. She was fine just ending your relationship like that, no matter what you’d been through together.
“Oh... of course.” She really had never loved you. You were just a tool she could use to escape the mindless drones that claimed to support her. So it all had meant nothing. It was just too good to be true.
She stood and wordlessly left, walking out of your life for good. Good riddance.
Your pain was only beginning to set in. You couldn’t care less that she broke up with you, you were miserable dating her anyways. No, the hardest part was you would be truly alone now. You knew once word got out that she broke up with you the whole school would blame you. There’s no way their perfect pretty princess could do wrong. It hurt to think about it, you’d probably lose your friends over this. There was one person, though, just maybe one person you could talk to.
Saiki Kusuo. An average looking boy, he didn’t stand out much. You had been friends with him months ago before you dated Teruhashi but she forced you to stop talking to him when you started dating. You never understood why, but she eventually told you that it’s because she used to like him before she got with you and she found it awkward for you to talk to him. You understood. The guilt ate you alive, but you complied. From that day on, you’d never again spoken a word to him.
You could tell just by looking at him he wasn’t like everyone else. He didn’t fawn all over Teruhashi when she entered a room and maybe that’s what drew you to him right now. He’d be the perfect friend, someone that wasn’t obsessed with her. You just hoped he’d forgive you.
“Hey, Saiki?” You asked, shyly walking up to him. He glanced up at you, an uninterested expression plastered on his face. He wasn’t visibly upset by you, but that only made you more nervous. You have no idea what he’s thinking. Realizing he wasn’t going to reply, you continued talking.
“I was just wondering if you’d be willing to have lunch with me. I-I know we haven’t spoken in a while but there are some things I’d like to clear up.”
Saiki knew exactly why you stopped talking to him. He wasn’t going to blame you for that, either. It wasn’t your fault. Sure, he was a little upset about it, you were someone whose presence he actually could tolerate. You were nice to talk to, mainly because you knew when was a good time and when to stop. Traits Saiki greatly admired and appreciated in a person. He might have even liked you a little.
He wasn’t about to let you go. Not as easy as the first time. “Sure.”
His response was curt and blunt, but you couldn’t help the small smile that graced your features. It was your first genuine smile in months. Maybe the whole world wouldn’t be completely against you.
“Thank you.” You stated simply, turning to sit back in your seat. It seemed like such a meaningless thanks, but Saiki knew there was more behind it than that.
Lunch came quickly enough and before you knew it you were eating under a tree with Saiki. You explained everything that happened over the last couple of months, how awfully you’d been treated behind the scenes. You apologized more than necessary for abandoning Saiki, trying to convey that you didn’t want to, but your ex-girlfriend had somewhat forced you to.
Saiki was forgiving, and far more understanding than he needed to be about the situation you were in along with the one you found yourself in now. Deep down, he was happy to have you back. Even if you weren’t super close before, he wanted to help you feel better and get over the torturous relationship you had just left.
So Saiki was there for you. The little lunch meets becoming a daily occurrence and he did his best to keep the Teruhashi fan club away from you. Talking to Saiki felt different, it was like he was genuinely listening and cared about what you told him. He was eager to help and aided as much as he could in your recovery.
Weeks passed as the routine kept up. On the weekends you’d meet for dessert and studying. Everything you did with Saiki felt right, it felt safe and healthy. You hadn’t realized how suffocating your old relationship was - even during the good days.
It wasn’t until Saiki asked you out and you said yes that you truly experienced what being loved felt like. It was late, well after the sun went down. Saiki had snuck into your house, claiming that his parents were being annoying but you knew that was a cover for the fact he missed you. There was no way they were awake these early hours of the morning. He saw your tired face under the dim light that peaked in from your window, as you woke up from his sudden appearance in your bedroom. Saiki felt a small rush. He needed to tell you. Now.
“Y/N” He spoke.
“Saiki?” The confusion was evident in your voice, “You spoke?” You were clearly tired after being disrupted from your sleep. Never having heard him speak before wasn’t helping with your state.
“Yeah.” He whispered, reaching a hand out to brush the hair out of your eyes, letting it linger on your cheek. It was a little more than platonic, just like the look in his eyes.
“I really like you, Y/N.” He whispered once again, so quiet you almost didn’t hear it.
But you did. Your eyes shot open, blinking a little in surprise. There was no way he just said that, you must be dreaming. There was no way this pink-haired boy that made you feel more than anyone else ever had was standing in your bedroom, at four o’clock in the morning saying he likes you.
You sat up, “You really mean that?” It came out without you intending it to. It probably sounded rude, but you were far beyond the point of being awake enough to care.
“Yeah.” He said, a small chuckle coming out, “I do.”
You didn’t say anything, all you did was slide back on your bed, making room for Saiki and open your arms. He took the hint and made himself comfortable next to you. He let out a small sigh, doubting he’d be able to sleep like this despite his relaxation. He wanted to protect you for as long as he could. He stared at you, probably a little more than he should. Saiki couldn’t help it, his eyes wouldn’t leave your form. You looked like you belonged in his arms, or so he thought. He was having a hard time processing his happiness at your figure in his arms. It had always been you, he was well aware of that now.
“You still awake?” he asked, going back to his telepathic communication. You mumbled a small yes, prompting him to continue talking. “Thank you,” he started, “for asking me to sit with you at lunch that one day. For coming back to me.”
You let out a tired giggle, “You missed me.”
“I did.” He felt you tense when you said that as if you were shocked to hear it. That didn’t surprise him, he had his doubts you were told you were cared about enough, especially in your last relationship.
Looking down at you once again, he realized you’d fallen asleep. A smile grew on his lips as he made a silent promise to show you what real love feels like. He’d cherish you to the moon and back. It’s what you deserve and he was going to give it to you.

Hey again, how are u today? Hope your're doing fine ^^ i really liked the headcanons you did to my ask that other day and i would like to ask for Teruhashi, Saiki, Kaidou, Aren and Hairo(and maybe Nendou like a friend) reacting to a S/o tbat can't produce ocitocin and can't afford to buy the pills that make them produce it plz?
Hello! I'm so glad to hear you liked them! I'm doing well, I hope you are too! So, for this one I'm assuming you meant oxytocin? As in the "love hormone". If not, please correct me on that! Either way, I hope this is good! I had to do some research on this one, just to make sure I understood it, so I apologize for the wait on this. It took me longer than I wanted to write this :( I'm genuinely very sorry if I got anything wrong with this. Also, I didn't add Nendou, I'm honestly not sure how he'd react.

How the Teruhashi, Saiki, Aren and Hairo would react to a S/O that can’t produce oxytocin and can’t afford the medicine to help them. —————————————————–
Teruhashi Kokomi
After you told her, she asked if you could go someplace else to talk, where there would be a guarantee that nobody would find you.
Once there, she dropped the perfect pretty girl act and placed a hand on your shoulder. You could tell she wanted you to know she was being genuine and that it wasn’t just her fake-self talking.
Looks straight into your eyes and tell you that this doesn’t change anything and she will always cherish you deeply. You’re her entire world, Teruhashi makes sure you know that.
A little kiss on the cheek from Teruhashi! She begins asking questions about it, so she can make sure she understands fully and if there’s anything she can do.
She eventually finds out you aren’t able to afford the medication required to help you out.
She doesn’t like that this option isn’t available to you purely because of funds.
Let’s be real, her family is most likely pretty well off, her brother probably makes good money.
If you want to take the medication, she offers to help pay for it. If you don’t want to take it, that’s perfectly fine with her, the offer always stands.
She isn’t one to pry much but she makes absolutely sure you know you can tell her everything - she won’t judge - and if you need anything at all she’s there.
Saiki Kusuo
He knows before you get the chance to tell him…
If you have thought about this even once around him, this man was made aware.
Does not confront you about it, however, as he wants you to tell him if you want him to know. He doesn’t often bring up personal thoughts without you verbally making him aware first.
Once you do decide to tell him, he’s as supportive as he can be. Just does not make a big deal out of it at all, he doesn’t really see a point in that.
Neither of you will acknowledge he already knew and he’ll act like he didn’t.
He will not admit it but you telling him made him feel really close to you, and he loves that you trust him that much.
You want the medicine but can’t afford it? He doesn’t like that neither of you can pay for it, but he realizes there isn’t much he can do.
He does look into ways he specifically can help. If you really want the medicine he will, no matter what, find some way to get it to you.
He wants a safe and happy S/O. That’s what matters most to him. Your wellbeing is his top priority, in this case, so you don’t have to worry about him doing anything risky.
Kaidou Shun
He most likely doesn’t know what it is nor what it does. He gets worried because he doesn’t know what it is. He’ll ask you to explain it to him.
Once he realizes you aren’t in any imminent danger, he pulls you in for a hug and reminds you that you’re his S/O for a reason, he loves you! He’s a red, blushing mess while he does but that only furthers the sentiment.
He probably asks his mom for more information afterward, and, if you’re bothered by it, he’ll see if there’s anything he’s able to do to make it better for you. He does remind you that he’s always there to love and support you no matter what.
He wants a happy Y/N!
Kaidou wishes he’d be able to give you the medicine you need, but there sadly isn’t much he can do.
Tells you every day that with or without the medicine, he loves you dearly.
He is all around just very soft and caring about it.
He’s like… the ultimate supportive boyfriend.
If you’re self-conscious about it at all or really want the medicine, he’ll do everything in his power to get it to you.
After exhausting everything, if he still can’t help you get access to it, he promises he’ll buy it for you in the future.
Yes, he sees a future with you.
You may or may not have squeezed the living daylights out of him when he said that. He may or may not have cried when you hugged him so tight.
Kuboyasu Aren
When you tell him he doesn’t really react. He seems indifferent on the outside.
It’s not that he doesn’t care, no, it’s more he just doesn’t think it changes anything.
I mean, you’re the same person he’s always loved. That’s never going to change.
He’ll ask a few questions, mainly out of curiosity and to find out if there’s anything extra you need.
When you mention that there’s a medicine that can help you, he asks if you’re taking it and a bunch more questions about it.
You explain that you can’t afford it, and he immediately is deep in thought.
He looks into ways he may be able to help you afford the medication. If you tell him you really wish you had it.
When he realizes there’s not much he can really do, as he’s still young, Kuboyasu is pretty angry about it.
Okay, maybe “pretty” was an understatement. He thinks it’s highly unfair and for a bit, he’s pretty enraged. Will not show that to you, though. He doesn’t want you to feel bad.
Just thinks his Y/N deserves whatever makes them happy.
If you’re sensitive about it in any way, he pays attention to signs that it’s bothering you and makes sure to remind you you’re loved no matter what.
Hairo Kineshi
You can’t produce it? That doesn’t bother him one bit.
It’s just another part of you, and something else for him to love about you.
He knows you still love him, one hormone not being produced isn’t going to change that.
He recognizes that there's a chance you may feel less connected and he is more than willing to give you space or a break whenever you need it.
Hairo will be there for you no matter what!
He doesn’t like that you can’t afford the medicine, though.
Scratch that, he hates it. Especially if you want to take the medication.
He takes this very seriously, it’s your health. He wants you to be as happy as you can be, and if medication is something you need for that, then he looks into it as much as he can.
Honestly, he’d make an effort to contribute financially if he can, but if the medication is too expensive then he’ll try to assure you there’s some way you can get it in the future.
The type to do research on alternatives and anything he can do to help you out.
Often asks questions about it to make sure that he still fully understands. He needs to make sure everything he knows is accurate, specifically accurate to you.
Is truly your biggest cheerleader, whether it be this or anything else in your life.
Reminds you at least once a day that he loves you no matter what, especially if you feel self-conscious or bad about it in any way.

I wasn’t prepared for that at all. I want to do some sort of milestone event one day, unfortunately I didn’t have anything ready for this one :( It kind of snuck up on me.
