hey! i have a question- why name one of your fantroll kids salvia? From what I know, salvia is a halluciogenic psychoactive drug that is known to cause horrendous hallucinations when used, i'm just curious as to why this name was picked haha. tysm :)

How far ahead have you planned the story so far?
Thank you for asking! We've written the entirety of the current arc (the first half of the Prologue), the entire story has been roughly outlined, and we're currently expanding on concepts and ideas for future arcs.

Hey Gang! It’s Mod White again and I’m gonna hit you with a few quick upd8s!
HSTBC Mod Upd8s!
All of us at the Mod Team want to say that we are so excited to see Mod Red back on tumblr and back in the server! That being said, Mod Red has decided to officially step down as Project Director and Art Director. Mod Blue and Mod Teal will be taking on those respective roles, while Mod Red will be working on art and moderating the server.
Department Upd8s!
Art Team:
We’ve changed the way we do panels!! Our panel work is about to go a lot faster!! Hopefully this means that we can implement an actual upd8 schedule in the coming months!!!
Writing Team:
Writing Team is still hard at work, making outlines and writing conversations! We have a few that we are very excited to show you all!!
Editing Team
Nothing new to say! Other than the editors are editing panels and dialogue and cleaning things up!

4/13 fic/mspa/comic recs
Some are ship, most aren't but here's some good non-nsfw fics to read during 4/13
- Love Letters in Digital Ink - Something for all my Rosemary shippers out there. It's a non-sburb au where Rose is a popular witchcraft blogger and Kanaya is a fashion blogger. It's told entirely through pesterlogs and blog posts, and it's really quite beautiful.
- No Red Sweaters - A 160+ page comic by ToastyGlow (creator of mambostuck). This is an AU where Kankri ends up in the world of the Ancestors and has to adapt to the challenges there. That's not really a fitting description for it. All you need to know is every page is a work of art and you need to read it now.
- Tangle Buddies - Bro this is just all 4 beta kids being friends. It's just pure fluff and I love it so much
- Who's Asking - Dirk contacts Alpha Dave. This one hurts.
- House of Dirk - Man, I don't ship dirkuu, but that doesn't stop this fic from being absolutely fucking hilarious. Basically it's a sorta wandavision-esque (but made before wandavision) sitcom starring Dirk and his husband Caliborn. The art is cute and really fits with the fic, it's also really in character.
- Sufferer Comic - Beautiful artwork and a canon adherent telling of The Sufferer's story.
- A Discussion on The Meteor - Probably been recommended on every mspa reclist ever, but still. Davekat fluff with discussion of sexuality.
- Crowned By Circumstance - This is a short, sorta-rhythmic, image-heavy fic about PM taking on her new responsibility as queen. The writing is simple yet lovely.
- Consequences of the Inconsequential - Recent DirkJohn fic by homegrownhubris. It's wonderfully written and in character, however, major warning for angst and depictions of sucidal actions.
-Homestuck 2: Taking Back Canon - Fuck Hussie Homestuck Belongs To The Fans: The MSPA. HSTBC takes the issues left unresolved at the end of Homestuck and starts to fix them. The panels are expertly done, it has a very Homestuck feel, and is just generally so good!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello Everyone! Long time no see! Can you guys believe HSTBC is a year old? Neither can we! That being said we have some excellent news! We have everything completely ready for the next upd8! It’ll be out on Saturday! Not only that, but we have a ton of new announcements!!! Unfortunately Mod Red has had to step down and take a break from HSTBC. Mod Blue is taking over as our Project Director and Mod Teal is stepping up as our art director. We’ve had a ton of new artists come in and help us out, so we are excited to say that we will have an update out in the next two weeks. ;)
We have a ton of updates in the works and we cannot wait to share them with you all!!! Thank you for your continued support of the comic and your patience!
