I always strive to put a lot of detail into my dolls, particularly compared to the original it’s inspired by. Here are some comparisons to show that level of detail.
Michelle Obama
Shuri from Black Panther (as portrayed by Letitia Wright)
Elton John at 1975 Dodger Stadium concert (he is so much more sparkly in person, it doesn’t capture well on camera)
Link from Zelda
Moana
Tiana from Princess and the Frog in her wedding dress
Korra from Legend of Korra (Season 4)
Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead (as portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan)

My Baby Yoda crochet pattern is available online for free on my web site or ravelry and also on Etsy as a pdf (I’m only charging enough to cover the Etsy fees).
I just had to crochet Baby Yoda/The Child and he ended up pretty cute! I have a pattern and will be posting it once I clean it up. (Follow for updates.) You can see my previous iterations, each one bigger and more detailed than the last.
I think next time I will do the whole jacket in the cream color and make his torso a little longer.
Also tried adding a nose and a mouth. I have mixed feelings on it. Any thoughts?
I still wasn't able to capture how sparkly it is in person - something I'm sure the real Elton struggles with as well. I was inspired by Rocketman, easily my favorite movie of the year (and I took 3 days off work to do the 22 Marvel Movie Marathon leading up to Avengers: Endgame with no regrets, so that's really saying something). @eltonjohn
