It’s not just a number. At least 17,000 Palestinians have been killed. More than 46,000 have been injured since October 7th. About 1.9 million people have been displaced. About 70% women and children are the victims. Thousands are still buried under the rubble. They’re not just a number. These are people. People with dreams, hope, and future. But, now it’s all destroyed.
In Gaza, dreams are something you hold on to, while the future isn’t promised. We get to dream big but at the same time Palestians dream to live. Living for us is something we take for granted as in Palestine living is something you fight for. Millions of Paestinians living in uncertainty between death and alive, which we have to acknowledge that now death is more certain for them.
They are not just a number. Unborn, babies, children, men, women, elders are victims of an apartheid country. These are innocent people who just want to stay alive, live their life like it should be–seeing their children grow up, able to achieve their dream job, play with their friends, or even just enjoy the fresh air.
75 years and 63 days is just not a number. Thousands of days in which Palestinians have to endure all the pain in their own land by an apartheid Israel claiming it’s theirs. Millions of people have been displaced and have nowhere to go. All these years, they scream for help while the world goes silent. They are even slowly losing hope in the world. What the world needs to stop the massacre, the genocide in Gaza?
Please, don't get tired of voicing the truth. Our voice is working, the world is shifting. We are their voice, we are their hope. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

Guess we’re living in history? Holocaust, Nakba, and now. It’s been countless days we’re witnessing genocide in Gaza, countless martyred from unborn to elders, millions of innocent people have been displaced, even there’s no place to come back to. What else do we–do the government need, especially the US to prove that Gaza is slowly turning into a dead city?
Palestinians are living a life where death is more certain than being alive. How on earth do leaders still act blind? Is it because Palestine; Gaza is a middle eastern country filled with majority muslim? Is it because of 9/11? God knows, we all read the Bin Laden letters that have been kept for years and suddenly taken down because they hold the truth. This isn’t a war against Muslim or even Hamas and everyone knows this. It’s a GENOCIDE, end of discussion.
Few days ago, there was a truce to exchange hostages. It only lasts for 10 days. 10 days full of life; they get to breathe the fresh air, kids happily play by the beaches, they get to sleep for more than 8 hours without worrying about the bomb strikes, the point is they get to feel alive even if it's limited. Can you even imagine, in the midst of genocide, you’re offered a truce not a ceasefire? The thing is, even truce isn’t promising. They still got killed, maybe not by the bomb but shot to death. Isn’t that obvious? Now, after that 10 days of truce, Israel continued carpet bombing each area, even corner in Gaza, making sure no building stand and most importantly for them is no people left.
They are trapped in their own land, nowhere safe in Gaza. They are slowly losing hope in the world–in us. If we’re tired of voicing the truth, how about them? How about the Palestinians who've been fighting for the past countless years? How about the kids who lost their parents? How about the elders who walk for God knows how many miles to find a safe place? How about the kids who have to carry white flag without knowing what for? How about the mothers who lost their newborn baby? How about the journalist who lost all his family members yet still covering the news? How about the grandfather who lost the soul of his soul? How about the mother who got burned with the baby inside her stomach? How about all the innocent people who are still buried under the rubble? How about them?
Our voice matters. What we’ve been doing for the past months is working. We won’t stop until Palestine is free from the oppressor. We want an IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. We want CEASEFIRE NOW. Please do everything in your power to stop the genocide in Gaza–call your representatives, boycott things that related to genocide funding, voice the truth. We are their voice, we are their hope. Don’t lose hope. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

Enough is Enough
Written by Essafa
9 November 2023
Today marked the 34 days of Israel occupation against Palestine. Every minute, every second is uncertain for them. Not once getting better, not once the bombs stop. Each corridor or even place that is supposed to be a shelter for them to find protection isn’t safe anymore. Israel bombed every possible place and things just to hide behind the “Hamas is hiding in there” “Hamas using Palestinian as a human shield” –Hamas this, Hamas that. The pathetic part is that Israel can’t prove any “death” of Hamas and even located them.
Thousands of innocent souls have been martyred–unborn babies, babies, children, women, elderly. As per today, Palestinian death toll  reached 10,569 with mostly children and thousands still missing. Hundreds of images and videos show the cruelty and inhumane act of Israel–and most countries haven’t condemned their action. Yet, they condemned what Hamas did on 7th of October which was the result of what Israel did for the past 50 years. Imagine you’re protecting your own country from the oppressor called a terrorist, while the oppressor is a so-called hero. How is that even possible?
Now we get to the point of life where everything is not the same anymore and won’t be the same anymore–as it should be. We get to live life as comfortably as possible–at the same time, Palestinians are living a nightmare; the sound of bird chirping turns to sound of raining bombs, blue clear skies now filled with dust, homes turns into rubble with thousands of people under it, and the ones still alive wondering when their turn to take their last breath. However, Palestinians are a proof of believers–we’re here slowly losing hope in the world but they still stand strong and encourage us. Indeed, we do live in an unfair world.
I never imagined that we’re witnessing and experiencing dystopian life. We’re actually witnessing live of genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinian. We’re witnessing how history repeats itself where clearly “Never Again” is just a phrase. I believe we are educated enough to know what happened during World War II–the Holocaust-the Nakba. I believe we are educated enough to differentiate a war and genocide. I believe that no human being wants to experience what the Palestinian experiencing right now and of course for the past 75 years. Only people that are sick in the head approve–agree to the carpet bombing of Palestine.
I and each one of you who still have the sense of humanity won’t let Israel get to act whatever they want. We will try our best effort to stop the genocide against Palestinians. We still and will stand strong like the Palestinians did for the past 75 years. We won’t give up–we won’t stay silent–we will and always speak the truth. We hear you Palestinians. We hear you. Hundreds of thousands of us will stand by you. We are your hope. We are your voice. You will be free, you will be free. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
To whoever read this, please spread more awareness. Don’t stop talking about Palestine. Call your representative, voice the truth, demand an immediate ceasefire. Do everything in your power to talk the truth–Palestine. Don’t ever stop. Spread every small detail of what's happening in Palestine.

The Israeli army twice bombed the front of al-Shifa Hospital at the same time while masses were gathering around doing their things. Al-Shifa Hospital that hosts around 50,000 people who lost their home as a way to protect themself isn’t safe anymore. Videos shared by journalists (@wizard_bisan1/Bisan, @belalkh/Belal Khaled) showed the chaos after the attack which seen people scattered around carrying injured–dead people to get the medical care and try to protect themself.
This attack was led to prevent ambulances that brought 15 to 20 critically wounded victims to cross the Egypt crossing. Saleh al-Jafarawi (@saleh_aljafarawi) recorded the condition after the bombing that caused ambulances damage to deaths, severely injured–blood shattered of kids, women, elderly on the street. Screaming and crying are heard vividly, losing their families and loved ones.
How is it that leaders are still blind after all the massacre happened before our eyes? Death toll keeps rising each day aligned with the missing people who are still buried under the rubble. Thousands Palestinian deaths aren't just a number. They are just like us, people with dreams and hopes but Israel killed them all. It’s like the world turns against Palestine and it’s unfair. How is it possible that Israel committed tons of international crimes and everyone, especially they who have the powers still let that go?
Israel won’t stop committing GENOCIDE and ETHNIC CLEANSING until no Palestinians remains. Supported financially and weaponized by the US and other developing countries makes Israel think that they win. However, people all around the world are voicing their view, marching, protesting the TRUTH–Palestine.
Please don’t stop talking about the GENOCIDE in Palestine. We are their voice, we are their hope. Our effort is working and we won’t stop until Free Palestine turns backwards. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

fir'aun's plan was to kill every new born baby. Allāh's plan was to raise moosa 'alaihis salaam in fir'aun's household. who knows what Allāh's plan this time is? but whatever His plan, of one thing i am certain and you should be too; Allāh will satisfy us in a manner that will make us forget all our pains and traumas.

Gaza has been suffering under the Israel attacks for 26 days. Everyday, every second it gets worse. On Tuesday, 31st of October Israel struck an entire heavily populated neighbourhood in Jabalia that resulted a bomb crater caused by 6 US-made bombs in which weighs 1 ton.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that up to 400 people were killed or injured in the carpet bombing by Israel. Followed by the warning from Indonesian Hospital and al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza regarding shortage of fuel power generators to hours away from shutting down.
Refugee camps that's supposed to be their safe haven were destroyed with thousands of people buried under the rubble. Images and videos from journalists on ground show serious casualties; bodies got destroyed and separated, people frantically extracting victims alive or dead using their bare hands as others seen surrounding the area crying, praying for their loved ones.
Israel won’t stop doing this until they get what they want, and we WILL NOT let that happen. Palestinian been suffering for their whole life (75 years) for things that ALWAYS BEEN THEIRS. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
Spread more awareness about Palestine. Don’t lose hope. We are their voice, we are their hope. STOP THE GENOCIDE. CEASEFIRE NOW.

Palestinians are not "animals."
They are not "children of darkness."
Little kids are rescuing cats and trying to comfort them when they themselves are terrified.
A doctor broke down when his father and brother came into the trauma unit.
And several of his colleagues hugged and gathered to comfort him.
Journalists are playing with babies.
Doctors are refusing to evacuate hospitals because their patients can't and refuse to leave them.
There's a little boy who gives tea to the journalists and thanks them for spreading their stories.
He's displaced at the hospital, his home is gone.
A kid was asked what he wants to be when he grows up and he said kids in Gaza don't grow up.
Kids are writing their names on their arms so they can be identified.
Momin Kireka is a Palestinian journalist who was disabled by an Israeli attack in 2008.
And despite the difficulty in moving around, he vows to continue to show the world the truth.
Awni, a young Palestinian boy has a gaming YouTube channel he loved so much.
He was killed in the bombing.
Mohammed Sami was an artist who's dream was to open an art gallery.
He was playing with the kids to raise their spirits. And the next day he was killed.
They are victims.
They are going through unimaginable horrors and still find it in their hearts to be kind.
They have hopes and dreams just like you and I.
They are people.
And they deserve to be recognised and known as such.

31 October 2023
Let’s say Israel is doing this for the sake of wiping out Hamas (in Gaza). How on earth are they also bombing the West Bank (a whole different area, not related at all), Syria, and Lebanon? That doesn't make any sense at all. Israel can bomb different countries at the same time and still be called a victim. What’s the point of the Geneva Convention now? Israel has been and still violates all the international humanitarian laws. All of a sudden, leaders go blind and “legalize” their inhumane act.
Israel always refers their action about what happened on October 7–”the Hamas attack” they said. How about WHAT THEY DID? Targeting a state that doesn't have military background or even compatible weapons. Whilst, Israel is supported financially and weaponized by developed countries. It’s not an EQUAL OPPONENT. Targeting the weak because you think you have all the “powers” in the world.
But, you know what? You can’t buy us. Slowly the truth is revealed. In Hamas recent hostage message video shows how Israel hostages look clean and healthy unlike how Israel describes. They stated:
“Yesterday there was a press conference for the families of the prisoners. We know that there was supposed to be a ceasefire. You were supposed to free us all. You had to free us all. And instead, we are driving in your political, security, military, political chaos because the mess you made on the 7th of October. Because there was no army there. No one came. No one listened to us. And we, innocent citizens, citizens who pay taxes to the State of Israel. We are now in captivity under “no conditions” conditions. You are killing us. You want to kill us all. You want to find a way to kill us all. Not enough you killed everyone. Not enough Israeli citizens were killed. Free us. Free us now. Free their citizens. Free their prisoners. Free us. Free all of us. Give us. Give us to return to our families. Now!”
People keep telling Hamas to surrender in exchange for a ceasefire. How about now? Hamas HAVE “surrendered” but Israel REFUSES. It was NEVER about the hostages or Hamas. It was always about Israel intention on taking a land that was NEVER THEIRS by committing GENOCIDE against Palestine. Netanyahu will do everything, legalize every action to avoid collateral damage for his agenda– even if it takes their own people's life.
Spread more awareness about the GENOCIDE in Palestine. Please don't get tired of speaking out the truth. We are their voice, we are their hope. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

It gets to the point where living life becomes a feeling of guilt. Every step, every breath, everything feels heavy reminded that an actual GENOCIDE happens in the other side of the world, Palestine. Babies, kids, women, and the elderly were killed mercilessly. What did they do to deserve this? Innocent people–even newborn children were killed. Death toll has risen to 8,000 with mostly children. How many deaths do they get to stop all of this? Propaganda that Israel made won’t work anymore, slowly people revealed the truth. No matter what the media portrays, we won’t get fooled. Actual footage shared across the country in real-time–babies lost half their legs, children get stuck under the rubble for hours, mothers lose their baby, children turn to orphan, organs-bones popped out from the body, bloods everywhere, and THE LIST STILL GOES ON. Evidence proves how INHUMANE, BARBARIC, and HEARTLESS Israel is. And people, even LEADERS still support them? The UN itself won’t take any serious decision. Bullshit that Israel does this just to “erase” Hamas, fact proves the opposite, they’re ETHNIC CLEANSING. Palestine has been suffering for the past 75 years, OPPRESSED in their own land.
Please don’t stop talking about Palestine. We are their voices, we are their hope. STOP THE GENOCIDE. CEASEFIRE NOW.

Who would've thought the casting for Loewe newest campaign is surprisingly not anticipated?
Maggie Smith–known for her legendary role in Harry Potter as Professor McGonagall, made her first Loewe debut.
instagram
Images that were photographed by Juergen Teller show how the 88-year-old actress poses gracefully sitting cozy on a colorful sofa wearing black and white long dress holding a burgundy Paseo bag. While in another shoot, she poses effortlessly against the brick with a Loewe viral Puzzle bag under the brown-green fur coat.
instagram
In this industry and time where fashion still questions ageism, Smith proves that age is just a number by exquisitely rock the photoshoot. Guess Professor McGonagall just used her transfiguration skill to transform into this high-class model.
Not only Maggie Smith featured in Loewe’s pre-collection campaign, it also features Josh O'Connor, Dakota Fanning, Fei Fei Sun, Greta Lee, TAEYONG, and other famous faces.

A Complete Guide to Dresses Up “Trendy” to Master This Season
Written by Essafa
23 October 2023
Post Covid becomes a period of time in which all human beings explore their creative mind, especially mixing and matching pieces of clothing into a masterpiece.
Everyone surely has their own liking towards how they dress, how they present themself, basically each of us have our own style. To give a little bit of insight, “this season” refers to today's era where everyone mostly dresses up uniquely based on their taste in fashion. However, people's taste has a big influence on their surroundings. Take a look at the emulated fashion style of  Bella Hadid among Gen Z. Her authentic sense of mix and match each piece undoubtedly captivated people.
Today's fashion trend is a mixture between the evolution of mode. The journey of fashion comes from the glam down to the minimalist road. Regardless, both are still equally fancy by many individuals. In the fashion world, there is always a constant change that is caused by many factors. To put it another way, fashion refers to what is “now” –through the “trends” lens, we can see a sort of snapshot of our time.
Basic T Shirt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not a surprise we’re going back to something casual. At the end of the day, comfort is the number one reason. Arguably, basic colour is always an easy pick for someone who’s really time consuming on picking clothes. T Shirts can also bring different vibes depending which pieces you add.
Staple Shirt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Button up shirts never go out of style. Essentially, this wardrobe item can fit any type of occasion without thinking it could go wrong–neither too much nor too less of an effort. However, this versatile piece can add more points if you are able to get the expertly tailored design.
Rosette Choker
Tumblr media
Surprisingly, a flower themed necklace went viral which everyone was using as their “accessories statement”. We can say that the oversized rosette choker became one of the highlights of this season. You don’t need to spend lots of cash on this whilst you can handmade it–crochet likewise turns out lovely.
Ballet Flats
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ballet pumps are making a comeback this year and people love them. But honestly, ballet flats are a timeless fashion that fits every era and any outfits, it’s a staple that every woman needs to have in their wardrobe. Miu Miu ballet inspired flats became one of the most popular searches back in 2022 and now many local brands produced it with affordable prices.
Pop of Red
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This tagline became popular these days which is a styling trick where you add one piece of staple in a shade of red, burgundy, scarlet, or even crimson. The “Pop of Red” can be shown in tops, shoes, accessories, or trousers.
Bows
Tumblr media
Just like the rosette choker, now bows have become the accessories that people tie into anything, like headphones, purse, hair, or even jewellery inspired. This trend is known for Sandy Liang's collection which has been infused since her debut. The best part of the "bows" trend, you don't need to spend money on it, just simply tie a ribbon around anything honestly and tadaa…pretty.
From all the above, which trends are worth experimenting with?

Is It Okay To Be Mediocre?
Tumblr media
Illustration Credit: The View From My Window: André Kertész’s Views of New York
Written by Essafa.
14 October 2023
Based on Cambridge Dictionary, mediocre is equal to ordinary–not good enough–just acceptable but not good. So, we can say mediocre is just an average. You’re good but not that good, you’re bad but not that bad–something in between.
Nowaday, we often see the word “mediocre” on social media and how it is related to many young people. In this modern world, it’s common where we wanted to be the best at a certain aspect in life but ended up being “okay”, which is not that pro but at the same time not that amateur.
Harshly, mediocrity is just a form of laziness. We’re so used to getting caught up in things that we can’t do just to move on to things that maybe more possible. Ironically things turned out the same–later becomes a constant cycle of process we do.
In reality, the word mediocre is a disguise of an individual who doesn't give full effort or energy on things they do. They prefer having a taste of everybit of the edge of the cake rather than having a spoon of it. But the edge is just a cream, you can’t really know how the cake actually tastes and whether you like it or not. This goes out the same as how mediocrity works, from my own perspective.
As cliche as it sounds, but at the end of the day you don’t need to prove to anyone how great you are. If you’re standing in the midst of people, you won’t matter–no one will acknowledge you that much. Just think how big the world or even the galaxy is and you're just there among billions of people and other living things. Who are you? Just another insignificant human being who gets to be alive.
We become what we believe, that's how our minds work aligns with what we show to the world. You don’t need to be the best or the “most” at something, but you need to give 100% effort to things you love and enjoy.
Each individual in the world has their own things, their own potential, and their best. You just need to be good at what you do. Maybe the process isn’t what you expected but at least you enjoy it. Don’t hide and blend behind mediocrity, just for the sake of giving in.
