the unraveling
one pull on
one string,
i come unraveled.
the smallest string unravels
the hardest,
causing the most pain
for me and
all those around me.
all structure goes away.
the friction from the unraveling
makes my life
go up in flames.

has sh*t hit the fan?
i feel like my interpersonal skills
have gone to sh*t.
communicating my needs feels
so hard lately.
actually everything feels
so hard lately.
everything i try to do feels like
I am trudging through marshmallow fluff.
maybe i need to be more like
marshmallow fluff?
light, sweet, aerated and bubbly.
if only it were that easy.
for now,
i hike marshmallow mountain and
hope i don't sink too far.
