BEAUTIFUL PERSON AWARD!❣️ Once you are given this award you're supposed to paste it in the asks of 8 people you adore! Absolutely no pressure but. It's sweet to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out <3
5. Share one of your strengths.
Pretty difficult question, because for a long time, I was told that I don't have any strengths. So I don't know what could be considered my strengths. But if I were to hypothesize, it's that I like to plan plots, although plans always get chaotic and change on the fly. And it's also probably a bunch of references to some things that only someone in the know can spot and lots and lots of little facts that are taken from research. Yeah, I usually have to do some research before writing, which is kind of an inspiration and a baseline at the same time. I also like to read something close to the genre to be inspired by it to absorb the atmosphere.
But I don't even know, can those be considered strengths?
18. Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines?
Oh, this is my favorite theme! I was very inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov, and I use notebooks to take notes there. They're just notes, some short plans, or plot points. Sometimes it develops into some mini-versions of the text or a chapter, and sometimes I just start writing a rough draft of a chapter.
I guess I'm too old a person who prefers to write it all down with a pen on paper ^^'
20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.
Uh-oh. I need to focus, think, give myself to the text, and let all my thoughts go there. That is, if I'm distracted or have too limited time, nothing gets done but a draft. Sometimes I put on music. It's mostly folk or something similar, or doom metal, or dark country, dark jazz, and sometimes I just turn on the noise of the woods or the sound of nature.
Of course, I occasionally peek at my notes so I don't miss anything of interest.
28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.
I can't single out anyone, as there are quite a few and I don't want to offend anyone. But they all have some interesting characteristics or strengths: some write very beautifully, some do amazing research prep, and some have wonderful plots! All of them are big-time writers!
Yes, and you're doing a huge good job too!

Thank you! Did you know that you were the first anonymous person to write to me? 💜
Yesterday I went on a lil trip to see Zbigniew M. Bielak's art exhibition currently being held in Poland. Majority of it is dedicated to Ghost. I didn't capture it all on photo, but the first room has all these huuuge, beautifully printed covers and artworks from every era Bielak has contributed to, from Infestissumam to Impera, so you can marvel at all the details from up close.
There was also a section with sketches and early concepts for various Ghost (and Darkthrone, I believe) artworks. I believe some of them were shared recently on ZMB's Instagram.
What I found particularly neat was that hidden between the artworks were what seem to be e-mails from Tobias with motif suggestions for Meliora and Prequelle's art. There were also some rough ideas for Impera handwritten by Zbigniew - possibly from some kind of a brainstorming session between them?
Overall a fun exhibition for a Ghost fan to see, though I wish there was some more behind-the-scenes stuff as that's what always excites me most. But still I had a blast during the whole trip, and hope to see Ghost and Mr Bielak cooperate again in the future!
I also want to tell you some facts about The Palace of the Soviets.
First of all, to build it, one of the largest churches in Moscow was destroyed. But, most interestingly, the Palace of Soviets was never built. The church was restored and is one of the main attractions of Moscow today.
The Palace of Soviets, like the Tower of Babel, was not built. The foundation was put in place, a lot of labor was spent, but it all stopped and eventually, the supports of bridges and roads were made from what had already been built.
I wonder if this is a reference too, or just a coincidence?
PS. I forgot to mention Soviet retro-futurism. The project, which included the Palace of Soviets, included huge elevators to the airship stations.
Some possible sources of inspiration for Meliora design
It is known that when creating Meliora, Tobias Forge was inspired by the movie "Metropolis" and the art deco style of the 1920-30s. Here I want to share my findings of some borrowed elements in the third era.
The Palace of the Soviets was a project to construct a political convention center in Moscow on the site of the demolished Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. The project was never realized. Zbigniew Bielak wrote in his blog: "Check out the rough concept sketches leading up to this apotheosis of Soviet esprit". Meliora is probably referring to the USSR as a failed utopia.
The building beneath the lustful megalomaniac resembles Boston Avenue United Methodist Church (1929).
This element is taken from the old RKO building (usually known as the General Electric Building) (1929-31). The theme of electricity is given a lot of attention in Meliora.
The lanterns in the hands are made in the style of the Helsinki Central Railway Station (1907) lamps. Papa Emeritus is compared to Lucifer the Light-bringer, and at the same time he is the bearer of the idea of enlightenment.
Another unrealized building, a concept by visionary artist Hugh Ferriss, can be seen in the City's urban landscape from the music video. Hugh Ferriss was an American architect and illustrator who created many images of futuristic New York in the 1920s, he's also the author of the book "The Metropolis of Tomorrow".
This building is the actual Odeon Cinema in Glasgow. It was built in 1934 and was originally owned by the American Paramount movie studio. A prime example of mid-1930s architectural modernism.
The cover of "From the Pinnacle to the Pit" is painted from Nick Gaetano's "Romantic Manifesto." It is a 2006 painting inspired by Ayn Rand's book "Atlas Shrugged".

I visited the "Ministry" today. Took a few photos of my favorite details.
Some unique hallways (every hallway was different)
And my favorite stained glass windows
If you ever go, sign in at the front and be nice. We said to the office staff that we were in the area (going to the nearby botanical garden) love Ghost the band as well as stained glass. We walked around very quietly. We were the only ones there. Remember that this is the final resting place of someone's loved one. There were fairly recent additions so this continues to be an important site.
I really love that people in this fandom greatly appreciate fine art, history, and architecture.
