I just saw a take that was such a Take™️ it literally left me speechless.
I'm just so curious how people who act like they know exactly what will happen in S2 up to a point where they will attack and ridicule people who think otherwise will respond when 80% of what they were so sure would happen actually...doesn't happen.
Will they own up to being wrong? Hang their heads in shame? Or will that just mean that the showrunners were secretly Antis™️ who Don't Understand the Source Material™️ all along?

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 165,513
3. What fandoms do you write for? Just IWTV. 😊
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
The Monster of My Memories, Truth and Reconciliation, What, Like It's Hard? (co-authored with chxmpxgnproblems!), Pearly Whites (my very first fic ❤) and Like That.
5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! Though it might take me a while. I cherish every comment I get so I'll always at least thank the commenter.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I don't really do angsty endings, but probably A Steady Hand.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I want to say In Hell Together After All, but that kind of has a 'happy for now' vibe. You know what, it might be Popcorn (NSFW).
8. Do you get hate on fics? No, thank goodness. The rudest comment I ever got was "THAT’S IT?" and I like to tell myself that the person who left that comment didn't know how WIPs work and expected the entire fic to be finished.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes! But I'm in a bit of a smut rut right now. 🙈 The 'what kind' is kind of difficult for me to answer so for now I'm just going to say 'old man yaoi' (though my Nickistat fic has them in their early twenties).
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? Nope.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? No, but I did have very dumb Twitter drama with someone who thinks I'm the asshole for side-eyeing her for trying to make a phrase she lifted from one of my fics her tagline.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No. I could technically translate all my own fics into Dutch, but literally no one would want that.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes and it's so much fun! (What, Like It's Hard? with chxmpxgneproblems.)
14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Armandaniel! ❤
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I don't really have one. I'm very determined to finish What, Like It's Hard? (Though I have no idea when I'll manage that.) I'm chronically ill in a way that messes with my concentration and energy levels so I decided very early on to focus on one shots and series consisting of connected but standalone fics. I have plenty of fic ideas I'll probably have to scrap after S2 airs, but that's okay.
16. What are your writing strengths? Somehow I'm really good at capturing Old Man Daniel’s voice in dialogue?
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Jumping from one WIP to another to another. 😭 I also tend to overuse 'again', but I'm very aware of that so it's not really an issue.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I try to use this very sparingly. Mainly because it takes me out of the story s a reader when I have to scroll down for a translation. I prefer to just say, "he said in [other language]" and italicising the dialogue in question.
19. First fandom you wrote for? IWTV again. I've never felt the urge to write for another fandom and idk if I ever will.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written? That's such an impossible question for me! I love (almost) all my babies. Probably Silver Lining, though. I really like Armand’s journey in that and how I took the time to get him there.

You are exactly on time. 😊 Thanks for your ask - I’m so glad to hear you like my fics!
The Danstat WIP is very silly self-indulgent nonsense. 😂
It's the ship that makes the least sense to me, especially now Daniel is older. He's a little starstruck by Lestat in QotD, but I absolutely can't imagine that being the case with 2022 Daniel.
If they met in the show universe, I just imagine Daniel’s face constantly being stuck on "Are you fucking kidding me with this guy?" Which I think would actually be super interesting and fun to see.
The WIP is sort of AU-y in that all my Armandaniel fics (that aren't human AUs) are set in the same universe, but this one wouldn't be. It sets after the 2022 interview and the premise is Lestat finds out about Louis's interview and demands that Daniel helps him write down his side of the story.
But the ACTUAL premise is "Daniel gives Lestat something better to do with that big mouth of his". 😂🤭👀 If I ever finish it, the title would most likely be Smart Mouth.

(Note that Lestat absolutely did kill those wolves, but we can't blame Daniel for being skeptical.)
“Jesus Christ, do you ever fucking stop talking?” Daniel pushes his glasses up onto his head and runs both his hands over his own face.
It’s been nearly two weeks since Lestat first barged into Daniel’s Brooklyn apartment brandishing his published interview with Louis and demanding that Daniel also write up Lestat’s side of the story.
Two weeks of almost daily visits in which Lestat talks and talks and talks and deftly avoids actually answering any of Daniel’s questions. It’s exhausting.
The funny thing is that Lestat hasn’t actually mentioned Louis at all yet during their sessions. So far it’s all been about his previous lover, about his mom, about Armand being an unwashed superstitious gremlin when they first met, and some cockamamie story about him singlehandedly killing a whole pack of wolves when he was still human.
He’s been on a tangent about his mommy issues for a literal hour, and Daniel has reached his limit.
So he just said that out loud.
Like the reckless idiot he is.
Lestat stares at Daniel, speechless for the first time since they’ve met. Then he throws back his head and laughs at a ridiculous volume.
“Well, I did come here to be interviewed.”
“And some interview it’s been.” Daniel grabs his drink from the coffee table.
Lestat quirks a single eyebrow. “Have you not been enjoying yourself, Mr. Molloy?” he drawls. He’s sitting in the middle of the sofa, knees spread far apart, his arms draped over the backrest. His lazy smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes.
“No,” Daniel replies, “I haven’t. You’re a fucking nightmare.” He downs the rest of his bourbon in one go.
A second later, Lestat has crossed the room and is pushing Daniel against the back of his armchair by his shoulder. Daniel’s empty glass falls to the floor and shatters.
Lestat leans down until his face is only half a foot away from Daniel’s. Daniel has to look up a little to maintain eye contact.
“Are you not afraid of me, Daniel?” Lestat hisses, his expression hard, his eyes cold.

Thanks for asking! @nalyra-dreaming asked about Yelp literal minutes before you sent in your ask so you can read a little snippet from that here.
5 More Minutes is actually the fic I posted a paragraph from yesterday.
It's Devil’s Minion era Armandaniel.
I'm combining the prompts "Daniel asks about Armand's maker" and "Armand draws/paints Daniel’s portrait" for this one.
(The first prompt came from an anon but I can’t find who gave me the drawing prompt. If that person is reading this, please let me know it was you so I can mention you in the note once I publish it!)
Daniel is too sleepy to wake up so he asks for five more minutes. When he wakes up properly, he realizes Armand has drawn his picture while he slept. And he didn’t even know Armand knew how to draw.
Another short excerpt below the break!
A warm hand gently stroked the side of Daniel’s face. “It’s time to wake up, my love.”
Daniel hummed.
Armand.
Of course it was Armand.
His voice sounded very far away.
Daniel felt like he himself was still very much asleep. The bed was warm and comfortable and Daniel wanted to melt into it. “Five more minutes,” he muttered, pulling the down-filled duvet more tightly around himself. He was too tired to even open his eyes right now.
Armand stroked Daniel’s face again, then bent down and pressed a soft kiss to the human’s temple. “Five more minutes,” he agreed.

Hey hey!
Thanks for asking! just noticed I haven't had the Yelp WIP open since December 18th. (Help!) 😭
It's Dubai Armandaniel.
Daniel is bored out of his brain and Armand is getting frustrated at his iPad. So Daniel sidles up all, "Whatcha doing?" and things escalate very quickly. 🤭
This is the summary for now (NSFW so I'm putting it below the break):
Daniel looks at the iPad. “Yelp? You’re blocking people on Yelp? We need to get you some more hobbies.”
Amand continues scrolling. “I have many ‘hobbies’ and special interests.”
Armand hums. “I enjoy learning new things, about science and human nature. I enjoy electronic gadgets. I create art. And sometimes,” he looks up again and stares Daniel directly in the eye, “I strip my lover naked, tie him to the bed and suck his cock until his balls ache, his toes curl and he weeps with pleasure.”
“That don’t involve an iPad?”
In which Armand tells Daniel about all the things he enjoys doing to his lover. (Daniel. The lover in question is Daniel. It’s role-play time.)
