Hi , I like your blog and character you're such a cool person✨ I have a question if you don't mind , what would you say to someone who feels like they're so behind in life ? Like all my friends and everyone I know is in a different stage in life and I still feel like I've accomplished nothing :( I kinda feel like I don't know how to run my life properly, any advice and that you so much . 🌼

Idk I think at the end of the day it doesn't matter where someone else is in their life. It only matters that you take care of yourself where you are in your life. Because it's impossible to compare one individual life to another. Logically how do you want to compare the level of development in social and romantic relationships, studying/have a "dream" job/career, emotional development etc. Of course you look at certain aspects of other people's lives and feel jealousy and envy or even sadness because you think you're not where you're supposed to be by now. Maybe that can be a guide for you to feel out for what you need or want and have not had the time, energy or courage to go for but if you'd over night be them, I don't think you'd be magically happy or content. Of course I drift off sometimes of how it would be to have certain things I don't have or be somewhere else in my life but it's not only pointless but it wastes energy. It always comes down to the questions of what do I need? What do I want? What can I do? And if those questions develop out of comparisons to others they're very often guided by emotions of shame and envy and you end up on paths which (right now) will not going make you content in life. Not because envy and jealousy at times cannot be a somewhat a good guide to what we deep down might want and are afraid to go towards, but we're also to some degree imagining that we're them, that we're someone entirely different and those decisions really never lead to us making decisions that are for us.

LITTLE TOO LATE

A wonderful little duet by The Ehrlich Brothers and Jenna Conrad.

I am not a big fan of magician shows, but I tumbled over their music and I do like their soft songs a lot. Here’s one example.

not all of it is bad i think….…. we are going to be okay i think.

I don’t think any piece of art has ever emotionally affected me the way this robot arm piece has affected me. It’s called “Can’t Help Myself” and it’s a robot arm that’s programmed to clean up the fluid that’s constantly leaking out of itself, that looked like a never ending flow of blood. It has programmed dance moves to make it appear to have human gestures. And at first, it seemed happy and proud of its job, dancing around when it had visitors. But three years later, it looks tired, hopeless, and like it’s living in a never ending cycle of constantly trying to put itself back together for the entertainment of other people. And when I found out that it had finally stopped working in 2019, essentially dying, I couldn’t help but imagine the relief it must’ve felt and so I’ve been in here crying over a robot arm. 🥺 It was programmed this way, it truly couldn’t help itself. And no one ever helped him, they just watched.
