Yes, this is my annual Christmas drawing of the characters that I have loved a lot and meant the most to me this year. Some recurring faces, Ratchet and Midnight seem to always be included in these, but some new ones too. Also this is a little late for me here in the UK as it is already boxing day (whoops) but for those still celebrating over the pond please enjoy my Christmas art for this year! Hope everyone celebrating had a wonderful day, and I hope those celebrating other holidays have had wonderful holidays, and anyone just not celebrating anything has had a wonderful day as well.

Last piece of 2020. finished a little bit later than i expected, whoops. i spent so long on this one for no reason. anyway, this one is a very dark and sinister piece of my OC, Midnight Soul. Based on Aviators’ Slasher, this piece depicts Midnight in the moment after they have slashed an opponent with their bavarium light blade. the blood splats and amount of blood on the blade and across their face is mostly exaggerated.

Thought about horses again recently... thinking about my Next Generation characters (which were shared with a friend of mine). This is mine of our DisLestia twins, and she's the youngest of the two. Havoc Sunlight will take the throne of Equestria and the power to raise the sun at dawn when her mother, Queen Celestia, passes. This is how she looks when that day comes, when she ascends to the throne and takes on her full power. I genuinely love this character so much and it was fun to draw her all grown up and fully powered.

monthly art upload of October complete, lmao. Angsty Ratchet piece set during ACiT and based on Aviators’ Wolves. Had so much fun and loved working on this piece, kinda sad I finished it because now it’s over and done with but lord am I pleased with how it came out, it looks exactly how I thought about it being 4 years ago when I first heard the song it’s based on. Sometimes the art gods are on your side.

oh look, another piece of art that took me about a month to finish when it really should not have taken that long at all. This is another indulgent one with it being my OC, Midnight Soul, wielding the Infinity Stones. so many lights....

I finished this ages ago and should have posted it ages ago and I did not. Been all over the place really, it’s been a year so far hasn’t it? Anyway, the new lombax from the Rift Apart trailer is trans and you cannot convince me otherwise. 

I’m very late to this bandwagon tbh.

Realistically I went overboard with all the sparkles and effects on this one but also i don’t really care too much as this is my oc so i let myself indulge at bit. I’ve never drawn their powers before really, so i wanted to do that and went pretty wild with it tbh lol. Glad to finally have a finished piece of their armour, though, and also of them on their own in their normal form lmao. 

i want to take the step that seems too far, then we'll get the chance to find out who we are. if it rains, it pours, but we keep pressing through, nothing feels impossible with you. two dreamers in hot pursuit, when we set our sights, it's absolute. and I feel like we could make it all the way, nothing feels impossible today.

This is a redraw of my very first Ratchet and Clank fanart which I started on the 18th April, which is my four year anniversary of being a Ratchet and Clank fan again. The original was drawn while I was on holiday and listening to Impossible by Aviators and it really inspired the original piece. So this one is still inspired by the same song and looks so much better than the original and I’m super proud of it and all the shading and lighting and other effects. It looks like a massive improvement from the original.
