Just imagine an au where Mickey is forgotten and ends up in the wasteland, well I don't know if you knew this but… there was a time at Disney where they preferred to make Donald cartoons and they left Mickey behind, since Donald's cartoons were a lot more fun to make and watch than Mickey's, losing relevance, what saved him in real life was the fantasy movie and the famous short The Sorcerer's Apprentice, but what if Mickey had never starred in that short and had finally been replaced by duck? Well that's my premise.

Ho, an interesting idea, but what if Kamek not only discovered baby Luigi but also the other babies of the stars, managing to steal them from Yoshi and only missing baby Yoshi to complete the group, but Kamek doesn't know this and thinks he already has it. everyone and raises them to plant chaos and destruction as a villainous group, I don't know I just want a bad ending for Yodhis Islands DS.
Mmmm.... okay but
AU where Kamek does discover that Luigi is a star child after kidnapping him and raises him to be Bowser's right-hand bodyguard.

xd the last part made me laugh a lot, but yes the yoshi islands games are a bit strange honestly at least in terms of history, I think the first and the ds are good, but the second never made any joke or sense, I'm just saying how Damn, the stork could have been wrong about the babies, besides being practically the same and of course I don't really like the time travel thing either, but even though the story is not the strong point of the saga, I really love the gameplay and especially the moments. and baby Bowser's words are the best of the saga xd especially in the DS one, when he tells baby Mario that there is a boy just like him and he is stealing his style, it makes me laugh.
Anyway, my favorite moments of baby bowser being baby bowser (I also love how he fights with baby wario, it's so funny)

May we know your thoughts on the fact that Kamek intentionally kidnapped newborn Luigi instead of newborn Mario not once, not twice but three times?
Why do you think that is? What did Kamek want from newborn Weegee? What could he done to the poor baby while the Yoshi were taking care of his big bro?
I might be the wrong person to ask TBH.
The Yoshi's Island plot line as a whole is so jumbled, not to mention the weird unnecessary time traveling shenanigans (one of my least favorite tropes). At the end of the day I much prefer the "Mario Brothers got isekaid from Brooklyn" origin story for a multitude of reasons.
In the original Yoshi's Island, Kamek wanted to kidnap the bros to keep them from defeating Bowser in the future. It was pretty clear that Kamek desperately wanted both of the twins, not just Luigi...
...but then Yoshi's Island DS brings "Star Children" into the picture and things get really confusing.
In Yoshi's Island DS, Kamek was mass kidnapping a bunch of babies looking for fabled "star children." In that instance, Luigi– one of the star children– was smart enough to hide himself away so he'd go undiscovered.
As for the original Yoshi's Island? Who knows what Luigi went through in that game, or what AUs it might have led to if Luigi never ended up getting rescued.
Though to be fair... it probably would've just taken a longer time for him to be rescued if the yoshis didn't intervene.
Baby Mario was going after his brother like a turtle tracking down its hatching grounds, he would've been kicking down Bowser's palace doors at age six going "I KNOW I'VE GOT A SIBLING IN HERE."
