The mountain was their sanctuary away from everything. Life’s chaotic rumbles exchanged for the beating hearts of the two lovers.

This painting spilled out of my hands. I was just sketching one day for a make believe project that I was never going to finish and next thing I knew this was on my canvas. It’s still sketchy and not the most well constructed or thought out(how could it be?? lol). But the colors and feeling got me and I wanted to share. So, here it is!
“The others were posh in their movements. Gliding around the dance floor in a way as to not spill their wine and appear the most elegant of them all. Those were the stuffy rules when attending any self described, “upper class ball.” But Nehesh and Kairn, had danced one too many times with the common folk. In their eyes, it was the superior version. They danced with such vitality and joy - it was as if each time you were inventing a language that all could understand but no two languages were identical. So, the rebellious couple danced in their language amongst the formals - wine spillage and all.”

Number two in my tender moments series I’m doing! These two are my favorite to just convey joyous, unconditional love.
Patron deity of Generals, lawmakers, and those that seek to quell the chaos in their lives
He's the strong hand of the parent teaching the child right from wrong. He's the crown that sits atop the heads of every monarch that ever was. He's the firm reassurance of what always has been, and he offers the predictability that it will always be. He's a port in the storm. And he is the hand gripping at the back of your neck, squeezing subtly to silence your voice when you think to ask just who caused the storm, in the first place.
