Nickname: Medusa’s Condition

Symptoms:

First Stage: slower cognitive abilities can be noticed. This is usually a drastic change. Slower and slurred speech happens during this as well.

Second Stage: joints begin to lock up during this period which renders the personification completely unable to move, eat, drink, or use the bathroom. They become frozen in place while only being capable of blinking or moving other muscles that do not have joints to help hold their form (ex. Ears, eyebrows, nose, lips)

Third stage: all muscles begin to lock up and become unmovable. During this stage they cannot move anything.

Fourth stage: when this stage hits, the personification is no longer capable of responding to anything and they go into a comatose like state.

Procedure:

For the first stage, get the personification into a comfortable resting place immediately. This goes the same with the second and third stages

With the fourth stage, the personifications body stops working entirely. While their heart may still be beating, their lungs are not, so they must be hooked up to a ventilator.

Robin’s the more Casually Monstrous, while Adam will use his Comprehensible Horror form more than Robin will use hers.

Incomprehensible Horror is only for world-ending events, which the personifications have not yet encountered.

Adam and Robin are keeping their other forms a secret 🤫🤫 Their States don’t know that there’s a difference between Adam+Robin and the rest of them. The Departments kinda know because they’re closer in makeup to their parents than they are to the States, but the Departments are not Fragments. Might go into the differences between them all in a later post if people want me to.

Counting Stars is such an Adam song and I can’t explain it. It just is.

Rule #34 is also such a Robin song and I CAN explain it!

While Robin cannot possess people (she wouldn’t want to anyway, human bodies are far too annoying and restrictive for our lady), she and Adam can slightly alter the brain chemistry of the people around them. This is part of the reason their crime family back in the 20’s was so successful! They were able to make their followers more docile towards them and make them open to more suggestion!

She’s also a manipulative boss bitch who gets whatever she wants from the humans-- because they’re scared of her :)

Rule #34 feels like it fits 1920’s Robin best, the Mob Boss and Mob Wife. Robin interacted with more humans in this decade than she usually does, so she was more likely to use her brain chemistry trick.
