I can’t get over how the students at Columbia screamed “Go back to Poland” to American Jews. Not even Israelis (though that wouldn’t be okay either). American fucking Jews.
Way to tell me that you don’t want me in your country and think my family and I would be better off dead. You’re such an activist, gleefully screaming for the ethnic cleansing of your country’s own populations.
Get absolutely fucked, you monsters.

My "bare minimum" is different.
Goy wear watermelon pins. They boycott starbucks for 3 months. They post shoddily made infographics to their stories. They call for "global intifada" and fill Hamas' pockets with money.
And that is the bare minimum.
I must prove that I'm not a genocidal monster.
I must bear witness to the hate speech that slips so easily from the lips of the ones I love.
I must be called a kike in the streets; A zio-nazi on the bus.
I must resist centering myself.
I must defend my humanity until my dying breath.
And when I finally die, they'll still ask if I was a Zionist.

I recently starting going to Shabbat services for the first time since I was a child and I love it.
Growing up, especially in high school, I thought that all religion was stupid and not worthwhile. But in recent months, it has proven to be the most radical form of self love that I've ever practiced.
Accepting myself and feeling unashamed of being Jewish has done wonders for my mental health, especially in the face of the intense antisemitism I face every day in my town. I feel powerful, choosing love when all I get back is distain in return.
Still, I don't necessarily belive in G-d or a higher power, but damn, Fridays have easily become my favorite day of the week.

I'm religious, but I don't believe in G-d.
I go to synagogue every week and go to Shabbat dinner with my friends after. I take Hebrew classes and am very active in my community.
I inevitably get asked why I even participate in my theology/Torah study group.
I love the routine. I love the ritual. I love my friends and this allows us to make more time for each other. I love being connected to my people and spending time with people like me. And to be honest, it feels amazing to be in a room where I'm not the minority for once.
So my answer is usually "I love being Jewish," because that's all there is to it.

I got back into fandom in last year after watching Yuri!! On Ice for the first time since 2016 and started reading/writing fic shortly after. I'm creating a spreadsheet of all the fics I read this year and holy shit, I had no idea the list was this long and how many fandoms I read for.
For real I can't wait to use my job skills for something fun

What is it with goyim who know less than 1% of Jewish history/culture and their incessant need to speak over us about what is or isn’t antisemitism? Is this, like, a kink for you guys or something? Because if so, you need to find a new one and leave us the hell alone.

If your argument against antisemetism is: "don't be mean to Jews cause they'll move to Israel and give it legitimacy 🥺" that's a problem.
You shouldn't need a motive to not be a bigot.
