The Dutch surprisingly have numerous winners of the King of the Mountains jersey, the ultimate accolade for professional cyclists who are good at climbing hills.
One Dutch winner of the Tour de France polka-dot jersey is Gert-Jan Theunisse.
Born in 1963 he won the King of the Mountains competition in the 1989 Tour de France.
