This is especially funny because most women did all have the same names back then (the top 5 names alone, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Jane, covered 62% of all women!). The poor admiral would be lost among the diverse, deep sea of unique names nowadays!
Admiral Croft wishing that all women were named the same thing to make life simpler:
"...But first of all, you must tell me the name of the young lady I am going to talk about. That young lady, you know, that we have all been so concerned for. The Miss Musgrove, that all this has been happening to. Her Christian name: I always forget her Christian name."
Anne had been ashamed to appear to comprehend so soon as she really did; but now she could safely suggest the name of "Louisa."
"Ay, ay, Miss Louisa Musgrove, that is the name. I wish young ladies had not such a number of fine Christian names. I should never be out if they were all Sophys..."

This one is my favorite, but I voted for the stage musical one!
Which version of this do you prefer?

Yeah beauty and the beast:a story with an average straight couple………..yeah but what if…*evil chuckles* in a my personal retelling the prince is no binary and bisexual while belle is Demisexual *evil chuckles*
Go for it! I've always appreciated that in the Broadway musical, they change the line in the prologue "If he could learn to love another, and earn her love in return..." to "earn their love."

Number one best character trait you can give to any character is profound kindness. Number two is huge bitch. Number 3 is dumb of ass. They should all be the same person.

Surprise! Bluey's pupper has my whole heart! I think the Father is still up to interpretation, but I'd like to think it's Mackenzie. Anyway, couldn't resist cute Adult!Bluey and future family sketches!

Captain Wentworth | Reacting to Anne
‘You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant.’
