This is especially funny because most women did all have the same names back then (the top 5 names alone, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Jane, covered 62% of all women!). The poor admiral would be lost among the diverse, deep sea of unique names nowadays!
Admiral Croft wishing that all women were named the same thing to make life simpler:
"...But first of all, you must tell me the name of the young lady I am going to talk about. That young lady, you know, that we have all been so concerned for. The Miss Musgrove, that all this has been happening to. Her Christian name: I always forget her Christian name."

Yeah beauty and the beast:a story with an average straight couple………..yeah but what if…*evil chuckles* in a my personal retelling the prince is no binary and bisexual while belle is Demisexual *evil chuckles*
Go for it! I've always appreciated that in the Broadway musical, they change the line in the prologue "If he could learn to love another, and earn her love in return..." to "earn their love."
