I don't even need him to be well adjusted, or even working on his trauma in the "right" ways. I just want him to stop beating his kids, and stop being emotionally abusive.
I want to see the man who adopted his children because he wanted them to have a better life. He doesn't need to have all the right words, he doesn't need to be perfect. He just needs to be a dad.
