The usual British Conservative (Tory) Party arrogance and hypocrisy.
All they want is the power and the public money just for themselves and their rich cronies. The rest of us can drop dead and not get in their way.
No conscience, no morals, no ethics, no interest in democracy, fairness or equality... just give them our tax money to serve their right wing agenda of abolishing all forms of public service, from healthcare to decent affordable housing, clean water, reliable and cheap public transport, energy and community support services. They want private company shareholders to have our money instead.
Yet many ordinary working British people vote for them, with the massed ranks of the Tory press using every dirty trick and dog whistle propaganda to turn people against the public sector and anything that even vaguely resembles "socialist" policy.
Britain will never recover if the Tories are allowed once again to govern us and continue their cynical exploitation of the British people, finishing once and for all their demolition of democracy which started with Thatcher in the 1980s.

So, here is the latest edition of conservative hypocrisy. Rishi Sunak, the current Prime Minister; someone who never has to worry about the implications of not being paid because of illness from being off sick from work is telling the nation that their GPs no longer have the authority to sign them off work.
The implications of this are as huge as they are depressing. Anyone too sick to work; could be contagious (flu etc), have an aggravated injury made worse by repetitious activity etc, will be forced to attend work after a "company Dr" obviously on the company's payroll declares you fit for work.
This is the current playbook of their steady march towards abolishing the NHS and installing privatised healthcare throughout the country.

British politicians have now made sure that we've shot ourselves in both feet, not just the one we shot when leaving the EU for Brexit. This makes doubly sure that our young people have a bleaker future without the freedom to study or work in Europe.

Shame on the British Tory government.
We should not only condemn their occupation of Gaza but also be boycotting all Israel's commercial activities, rather than supporting their murdering regime.
The UK Deputy Prime Minister declined to condemn the Israeli occupation's killing of Palestinians and their burial in mass graves, stating that the UK expects the "democratic government of Israel to investigate any allegations of misconduct."
