whether you like fernando or not, what he’s doing is shutting up every person who brings age into the conversation about driver ability. in a sport where everyone starts to call you washed up before you’re even 30, to be in your 40’s and perform better than most of the people in their prime is 😌😌😌 anyway this is a love letter to the geriatrics

There is something sad but objectively hilarious about p7 this race breaking George’s spirit enough to say “Redbull are going to win everything this year it’s over”
Meanwhile Valtteri in P8 is cracking open a beer and going “yay! Points!”

Formula 1 drivers and other participants in FIA events have been banned from making “political statements” without the permission of the governing body.
The FIA has banned “the general making and display of political, religious and personal statements or comments notably in violation of the general principle of neutrality promoted by the FIA under its Statutes, unless previously approved in writing by the FIA for International Competitions, or by the relevant ASN for National Competitions within their jurisdiction.”
Competitors are also advised that “failure to comply with the instructions of the FIA regarding the appointment and participation of persons during official ceremonies at any Competition counting towards a FIA Championship” will now be considered a breach of the regulations.

I don't know who needs to hear this (Sebastian Vettel) but someone (Sebastian Vettel) is wrong when someone (Sebastian Vettel) believes that he (Sebastian Vettel) will not be remembered by Formula 1 considering he (Sebastian Vettel) had won 4 driver's world championships and also still hold several records ... but maybe that's just me
