I'll tell you what I do miss about academia besides the dedicated time and space for learning new things and the ease of access to resources etc etc. the regularly scheduled breaks
#Mouse talks!#winter break spring break summer break etc etc. now I get a set number of hours and have to distribute them throughout the year myself??#(I love my job. it's the first time I've been in a position where thinking about waking up and doing it every day forever doesn't send me#immediately into a panic spiral. but there aren't enough hours in the day for everything I need to do!!)

travel time maps for cyrodiil and solstheim! the key takeaway here is that cyrodiil is massive and solstheim is a lot bigger than you think it is (just over half the size of sicily).
the gridlines here are on the same scale as the skyrim map, i.e. each tile is 40 x 40 miles. i’ve included a map of tamriel so you can see how they all fit together. you can find the original skyrim map, including guidelines for use, here.
i’m thinking of doing vvardenfell next?

when is comes to asexuality and aromanticism you have to be okay with contradiction. one ace person will say asexuality is about not experiencing attraction, another will say it’s about not caring to act on attraction, another will say it’s not experiencing arousal. one aromantic will consider themself queer, one won’t. two people with seemingly identical experiences will use two different labels. aro people will be in romantic relationships, ace people will have sex. you get it.
