Peony Drive 590 - a fully furnished lot for Oasis Springs (no CC)
With this build my birthday celebration is coming to a close and I hope you enjoyed the other houses I shared, but now onto the last one: This house is a mash-up of two mid-century house plans I found online. I originally did not plan on furnishing it, but as it turns out being sick motivated me enough to furnish this house. It was intended as a starter home, but keeping within a tight budget wasn't fun, so I didn't. The end result is a very cheerful and playtested home for your sims!
More info and interior shots + download link under the cut!
Peony Drive 590 is a 20x15 fully furnished lot placed in the Parched Prospect neighbourhood of Oasis Springs. It's perfect for either one sim or a couple. You could also fit a baby or an infant in there, but you'd have to add a room/floor for an older child. Peony Drive has a colourful interior that leans heavily into the mid-century (modern) style and also has a patio with a bar and a barbecue.
Uses items from the following packs: For Rent, Horse Ranch, Growing Together, High School Years, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, My Wedding Stories, Dreamhome Decorator, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Dine Out, Home Chef Hustle, Paranormal Stuff, Tiny Living, Backyard Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, (Kits): Desert Luxe, Little Campers, Industriel Loft & Country Kitchen

TOU: please don’t claim as your own or put behind paywalls etc. If you find any issues (wrong files, etc.) please let me know + tag me if you’ll use the house, I’d love to see it in your games.
Rather fittingly for a future vampire, Victor was uncertain about all the foods that he tried.
And Baby Daddy is Caleb! Nothing sinister going on, Caleb has the keys to Vlad's place and in this save they're good friends who decided to science baby together.
I want to play the Sims but I'm not really feeling my current gameplay, so I may do a short and sweet Breed Out The Vlad*.
*For the record, I don't actually think Vlad is ugly, but he does have very prominent features. So yes, expect Nifty Knitter family man Vlad for the next while xD
Luna had just abandoned her brother Hugo in a coffeeshop with a girl that he'd barely ever talked to before.
How could Luna do this to him? Trick him into socializing like this?
Typically, Hugo liked to spend his time alone and saw no reason for that to ch–
Yuki suddenly glanced up shyly, her eyes as wide as a doe’s, her cheeks turning scarlet when she met his eyes.
“Hi,” she said.
Hugo started.
Then, just as quickly, she looked back down and began hiccuping violently.
“Hi,” he replied, barely managing to slip the word in between hiccups.
She suddenly blurted out, “Sorry about the – hic – hiccuping, I can’t control it – hic – when I get nervous…” Her voice trailed off. “And sorry – hic – about – hic – stalking you at the – hic – Von Haunt Estate.”
“Oh!” Hugo’s eyes suddenly widened. “Were you the knight chasing me around the hedge maze?”
“I’m sorry – hic,” she said. “You looked so – hic – lost, I just wanted to help…”
So Yuki was the knight in the hedge maze with him, huh.
Hugo felt himself dissociate for a brief moment. He was remembering being trapped in the hedge maze all night, convinced he would starve to death in there.
“I dragged you out when you fainted,” she explained, and that snapped him back. Ah, that explained how he woke up on a bench outside the estate the next day.
“Well, you saved my life,” said Hugo. “So thank you.”
Yuki gave a small smile at the table and hiccuped.
They fell into silence as neither could think of anything to say. Well, not quite silence. Yuki was still hiccuping uncontrollably.
“Ok, so…” Hugo racked his brain for conversation starters. He really was not good at this sort of stuff, but he was kinda hoping she would look at him again.
“Do you like cooking?” he asked.
“No,” she said, then hiccuped.
“Oh.”
“Uh…” Hugo hesitated, about to exhaust his list of conversation topics. “Do you wanna trade Voidcritters?”
Yuki looked straight at him,
and lit up like a beacon. “Yeah!”

While Hugo and Yuki found themselves knee-deep in an animated trade negotiation concerning Hugo’s Dicoatl, Luna was sauntering home – and that’s when she spotted a familiar crop of hair on the other side of some bushes.

1. My cat child, even if she is a menace sometimes.
2. Coffee. It's a small thing but the very first thing I do when I get up is make myself a cup.
3. This time of the year. I live in the Southern Hemisphere so we're now solidly into autumn.
4. Gaming. That small scale of problem solving and seeing myself make progress is very rewarding. Also through streaming (and Simblr) I've found my way into several communities that help to lift the heaviness sometimes.
5. Music. That plus reading are the main interests my father fostered so I try to honour him that way.
My Cyberpunk Occult Bar is finished! This is part of my own personal cyber occult save, and this bar tucked in Evergreen Harbor is a favorite spot for the local spellcasting and vampire community.

(Also Ted Roswell too, by the looks of things. Alice got him good!)
While I'd seen the end of someone else's playthrough stream while I was half asleep and fairly feverish, this was mostly a blind run and I surprisingly enjoyed it? I can see why Strangerville is a fairly niche pack but it gives you stuff to do.
More shots of the vanquishing heroes:
Leslie already greatly exaggerating their exploits lmao.
And while Simone and Alice peaced out for some well-deserved rest, Leslie and Mark remained behind and appeared to be having a... moment? Is this the end of the Dream Weaver's Way love polygon, @cantseemtohide and others? Stay Tuna'd.
Need to touch up a few things (covering the body outline with a rug for a start) but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I did want to tie it in more with the surrounding flats, which I did very Dream Home Decorator, but the Realm of Magic bookcase was the only thing that covered up the immovable wall fixtures without major clipping. So that kind of set the tone for the place.
Started to work on that one cursed Chic Street apartment. The one thing I could use to cover up the immovable wall objects (without clipping) was that tall bookcase from Realm of Magic - and I just might be onto something here...

PLAYTESTED: Yes. No issues, but I'd recommend having a L3+ Handiness Sim upgrade the springs on the Murphy Bed unless you want a Ghost Bro.

New and improved (?) Bro Flat. Didn't touch the gardens, as they were much better than what I could do - or the bones of the house much. Mainly I just made it look a little more modern with a slight sustainability angle - because that's cool now, okay?
Warning - could just not get those top Home Chef Hustle cabinets to line up. I'm blaming my mouse.
Now with karaoke. If you hear Joaquin singing, you won't thank me. Not that I'm any better.
Maxine (who kindly helped me playtest the place) is actually pretty good though.
Maxine saving Joaquin from a possible Grim Reaper visit by upgrading the springs on the Murphy Bed. You can even use the dance floor when it's down, as poor Joaquin found out when she spontaneously started an one woman rave (sorry bro).
My token "look guys I tried" shot of the ensuite.
Cutaway view from the front. Also there's a smol wicked whims type Easter Egg in Sergio's bedroom (I couldn't help myself) just in case you'd rather not have it there. What, he has allergies, and the air is so dry around this time of year...
