An update from me regarding the blog and what’s been keeping me away from my old activities.

Where Have I Been?
I’m sure by the title of this post that a lot of you have been wondering what’s been going on with me for the past few months. And for that, I am deeply sorry for my absence and near-silence. I’ll try to keep it concise, but I’ll break it into parts to explain what’s been happening.
I’ve been doing some online learning. This was a suggestion that was presented to me and I agreed with it. I was still able to do a little bit of voice acting while juggling my studies, but that didn’t exactly go as well as I had hoped. I’m not done with them yet, but when I am, I can use the skills I’ve gained to better organise my life around, among other life skills that would be incredibly beneficial.
I’ve gained a new job. This was a lucky opportunity that came to me in October last year and I’ve been working at this new job (a back-of-house worker in a restaurant) since then. I’ve encountered new challenges along the way that have been beneficial for me and I’m enjoying it a lot, and I hope that it continues on for a good long while.
I’m required to assist my family more than before. A relative of mine suffered a serious injury around the start of this year, so 2020 has not been a good beginning for my family and I. I’ve been pitching in more with housework and errands throughout my daily routine now and I’m hoping to be able to settle down to spend more time on my own activities like I once did before once the situation is resolved and the injury is healed up.
As far as my previous activities go, especially my voice acting, I’ve had no choice but to put those on hold until I have more time on my hands. The first and third will not be a worry for a while longer but the second is long-term that I intend to keep for as long as possible.
All I ask of you, whoever is reading this, to please be understanding. I know you’ve been waiting for a long time for some new content coming up on my own blog and on the Ego Incorporated blog that I run. Regarding the latter, my absence has caused the blog to go on an unannounced hiatus. It will be back up and running soon, but I have some IRL priorities that need to come first.

Update - August 2019
This is another update post, but let me just say first thing that I deeply apologise for the lack of activity on this blog. July was incredibly silent due to me falling ill with bronchitis for most of the month. I’m almost completely better but I didn’t want to keep you all in the dark any longer than I already have as well as keep you waiting for stuff that just didn’t come yet. Again, I’m sorry. I don’t plan on letting this happen again, but getting sick is often a case of bad luck on my end.
Audios will be returning in a matter of hours as the ball is now rolling along again for new audio posts and responses for you all. Make sure to keep an eye out for those new posts!
The art contest that happened on this blog’s anniversary, unfortunately, didn’t work as well as I hoped as there were no submissions. If I had misjudged anything from that, then the fault is on me for not knowing better. Any tips to better manage this sort of event would be greatly appreciated so I know for next time.
And lastly, I just want to give out a thank you to everyone who has been patient and is still interested in seeing more from this blog. The fact that this blog is still kicking for more than a year amazes even me. I hope you all take good care of yourselves, and look forward to seeing a new post coming around in a matter of hours. Banner size must be 500 x 750 pixels minimum and 3000 x 1055 pixels maximum. If you decide to go for a large banner, please consider the sizing for mobile display, as well.
Make sure the image is clear and easy to see.
When you have completed your work, submit them to our submission box for us to review by 30th of June. Results will be revealed on 3rd of July.
The 1st place winning spots for both the icon and banner will be chosen and displayed on our blog from 4th of July onwards and your works will be fully credited with your name in our blog’s main description! All runner-up entries will also be credited in a post showing off all of your work, so that way everyone gets a chance to be in the spotlight.

My relation with Lady Fate is a complex one. I haven’t the ability to do much until they begin to do something, in which I may occasionally become aware, though that’s the extent of it on most occasions.
As for your other question, I don’t usually know. When I see things, I often have to draw conclusions based on what I've seen. In other words, I do occasionally see things that aren’t native to the universe I reside in.

“Why, thank you for your consideration. As one of the higher-up members of Ego Incorporated, it’s not uncommon to assume someone like myself to hold a great deal of responsibilities.
I have suffered from illness at one point or another in my current life, but nothing serious to the point where I would be forced to call in and remain housebound until I was well again. It’s happened a number of times in my previous life, however. Some of my colleagues are envious of my… supernatural immunity, shall we say. Mental health is a little different from physical but is just as important, if not more than that.
If by chance I encounter anything that requires me to temporarily step down from work--either from a physical sickness or injury or... my shell is on the verge of cracking--I have a couple assistants I’ve trained who can substitute my position to maintain order and peace as a last resort.
But you have no need to be concerned for my well-being, though I do appreciate your consideration, nonetheless. Take care, visitor.”

A huge thanks to @weepingredwillow and the anonymous asker who sent in these questions in regards to the DAMIEN animation that was released a week ago. You guys, no doubt, must be waiting for a while to hear him after that video, so here is the first relating to it!
To weepingredwillow, you posed an interesting question about Dark’s identity that will be answered in a clear manner for everyone. To the anonymous asker, you must have intended to ruffle Dark’s feathers in one way or another, but I think you’re going to be very surprised by his reaction, especially to those claims you’ve made of him. This will be interesting...
This took quite a bit of time to organise, and the script for this response even had a little bit of help along the way from @melissatreglia. I rarely ask for help with scripts, but this was one of those occasions where I felt it needed a special touch, so be sure to send some love to Melissa for her assistance! You’ve been incredibly helpful with your advice and expertise and I couldn’t be happier with how the script turned out, and for that I thank you deeply.

Perhaps you need to watch the animation again and pay better attention to the setting. You are aware that it was not set in present time, are you not? If you’ve seen ‘Who Killed Markiplier’ and understand it well enough to interpret what had transpired, then that should ring clear to you by now. But, based on your initial response, I doubt you put in significant thought into it before sending it my way, and so you misinterpreted your sources.
You believe I have gone soft, but I’m only doing my part by fulfilling requests from the community. You know what I am capable of, and yet… why do so many of Mark’s subscribers seek me out? Are they drawn to the supernatural? Is there something about me that they desire but do not see in Mark or anyone else tied to him? Or… am I just that good at my job? The human mind is a magical piece of work…
If anything, your questions have allowed me to remind you of who you’re speaking to. After all, I’ve been playing my part for the last 80 years and I don’t plan to rest until my goals have been accomplished.
