Instead of those prizes,
in pretty wraps,
gift me words-
– you don’t have to wrap them.
Words that you remember-
words that you are fond of.
Words that make you,
bleed you,
haunt you.
Let me hear how you say them.
Syllable by syllable,
and I’ll carefully write them down,
on a handmade paper.
