when people try to downplay the dsmp's story and roleplaying, i want to shake them because cc!techno did not write an interesting arc where his character learned to rely on his friends despite multiple betrayals and to change tactics despite the fact his violent tactics worked for people to say it was bad or pointless.
cc!techno did not drop amazing banger lines time after time and put his all into the delivery just for people to pretend like 'do you want to be hero tommy then die like one' or 'i have a pickaxe and i'll put it through your teeth' or 'you've got the wrong hostage, I CARE' mean nothing because they've decided the dsmp is cringe and bad actually.
cc!techno put so much into his character and his friends and he gave us amazing moments and i'm so so fucking thankful for that.

phil showing tallulah a video of wilbur performing Since I Saw Vienna at the london show is so so sweet but i wonder if any of them are aware that wilbur has been given so many tallulah plushies and toys at gigs that lovejoy’s got an entire storage compartment under the tour bus that’s devoted to literally Only tallulahs. 24/7 tallulah lockdown. there are just so many. the tour bus driver is baffled. the crew are baffled. they have no idea what she is or why she is constantly being thrown on stage. because i, for one, would love to hear that on my minecraft birthday

Friendly reminder that fan-made content (fanart, fanfic, fanvids, etc) are:
extremely time consuming. Remember someone actually took time out of their life to create that, time they could’ve used to, idk, sleep, for example
entertainment you’re consuming for free. I can’t stress this enough: you’re enjoying someone else’s craft for free. You paid exactly zero money to look at/read/watch it.
S H A R E D with you, not made for you. This is the most important point: someone created that, put it online and you found it. No one forced you to consume that fanwork, you C H O S E to do it.
Whenever you feel like leaving a mean comment, anonymous hate or make a ~clever post about how ‘lol look at all of these overused tropes every fic writer crams into their fics’ remember you’re being a dick to someone who shared their work with you. You’re not being funny, you’re not being edgy, you’re not being brave for calling something out - you’re being a dick.
