In response on how to deal with nonbinary characters, I'd say it'd be wonderful to include options for transmasc and transfem along with nonbinary if you wanted to. Nonbinary is definitely a large range after all, so more choices within that umbrella wouldn't be an issue.

Your Gray Soul is an interactive romance fantasy novel by DarkRose. The story of love between an inquisitor and a witch in a modern setting. This story will be written in two languages - Russian and English. (In the future when the full demo comes out).

I have a question for nonbinary individuals who play IF games.
Would it be okay to include options in the game for players to choose PC as transmasculine nonbinary, transfeminine nonbinary, and nonbinary? Or better leave only nonbinary?

Dev Log #2 — About Variables in Game
I've been thinking for a long time about what variables will be in AtMoH. In addition to variables for the personality of the pc and variables for relationships, there will be hidden variables. These hidden variables will only affect some important scenes.
I want the character to be three-dimensional and not seem like they're only going down one path.
Also about variables for relationships. They will depend on how relationships with ROs and other characters are built. I will create a relationship system in AtMoH. I have some ideas.

Little Ramble:
It seems it's really asking TOO MUCH of Choice of Games to make sure they/them pronouns get plural verbs throughout the text.
Another game, another 'they is/doesn't/was'.
Look, I know there's some folks out there that use they/them is singular pronouns, but the fact that CoG cannot tell their authors to make sure players can enter their own pronouns, pick singular/plural etc is...
C'mon.
It's LITERALLY one variable to use with multireplace. It shouldn't be so hard.

Content Warning Macro
DEMO | CODE
(Dedicated to my friends from the sister Ouroboros server ♥️ A cute mini project I worked on for a few hours!)
A macro that allows readers to toggle for topics they find triggering/sensitive to hide them unless clicked/pressed. This simplifies the process by a lot, and comes with additional features!
For instructions, follow the link to the code above. Below, I will be explaining more in-depth about how it simplifies the process, and includes additional features. :)
Simplified how?
When you want to section off portions of the text as it has sensitive content, you may use an if condition to check if the reader is sensitive to it, followed by a linkreplace.
However, doing this multiple times can be exhaustive. It also likely requires you to copy the text twice, for both in the case the reader is sensitive, and the case they are not. This can be unwieldy if you have a lot of paragraphs or a big one. See example below.
Using the macro, however, you can shorten it to this:
Not only is this much more readable, it does not artificially inflate the word count of your game and take up space, and it is also much quicker to write!
And some other neat features...
Can section off only parts of a paragraph!
Content warning text is generated automatically, but can optionally be rewritten!
Content warnings only list sensitive topics relevant to the reader, even if that section has multiple other content warnings!

Orange: Exo is worried about being discovered and being unable to save his/her parents. At first, he/she resisted this idea, but eventually, he/she came to terms with it.
Blue: He/she would spend his/her day either reading books or watching movies in his/her room.
Nicky:
Orange: Nicky harbors a deep fear of losing control over his/her power, especially during moments of the deepest emotional turmoil, anger, or frustration. He/She refuses to openly acknowledge it to anyone, viewing it as a potential weakness that could be exploited by his/her enemies.
Blue: Nicky would spend his/her day leisurely walking alone in the park, or engaging in training sessions with his/her captain.
Dragon:
Orange: Dragon is afraid of losing their sibling and being unwanted by their master. They is terrified of the thought of it and tries their best not to let it happen.
Blue: Dragon spends his day either with their sibling reading them a book or carving toys out of wood for them

I wanted to write my own OC ask questions and here they are! Feel free to use them.
🔴 Red- What is a trait your OC has that those around them don't see very often? Is it seen by a rare few or completely overlooked?
🟠 Orange- What is a trait your OC hides about themself from others? Do they refuse to acknowledge it or begrudgingly accept it?

Dev Log #1 + Writing Log #3— About Relationship in My Game
I've been thinking a lot about how the relationship between the playable character and the love interests would be in the game itself in terms of text and code (I hope I'm saying the right thing and you'll understand).
There will be these types of relationships in the game:
Platonic
Open
Friends with benefits
Romantic
Friendship
Polyamory
Relationships will only play a role in the second part of the game depending on how the relationship with the love interest shapes up.
I don't want to impose any strict framework on the players.
Anyway, I don't know how to say this correctly, but there will be both relationships with side characters and with the main ROs.
In the first part, there will be choices as the playable character interacts in relationships with other ROs and with other characters. In the second part, relationships will play a huge role and there will be consequences of the elections in the first part of the game.
