I'm laying down in my bed watching an ASMR video, the latest one by Gibi ASMR - her videos are great, it's half an hour or so before I need to get up and force myself to go to my 'muggle job' - I currently work part time at a cinema when not doing creative stuff.

I'm feeling pretty good right now. Not amazing, but pretty good. I'm not dreading going to work, I'm not super anxious about anything - I have things to look forward to. The thing I am looking forward to the most at the moment is joining a gym soon, I don't know why I'm looking forward to that so much but I am. It's been ages since I have joined a gym.

This isn't the most exciting post. But it is however, a post.

Until the next lifetime, or whenever I next writ something.

Sorry that I haven't' been keeping this up to date, as usual. I presume at this point it's to be expected. The father that doesn't get his kids anything for Christmas doesn't have to apologise every year, right? at some point it's just expected. 

I have been rather busy, I am currently in a young producers program that is run out of Bristol that I go to which is training us up to Creative Producers in large scale festivals such as Shambala, Port Eliot, Boomtown, etc. It's great fun and I am learning a hecking lot about that side of things. I have always been into theatre, and recently production, but this is something else and I'm loving it. 

You may see from my new picture that I have up there that I have a new headshot, how fancy is that? a wonderful man called Ioan Hefin took some pictures and I'm using them for some stuff. 

I'm not sure what else there is to say at this point.

I have always been really bad at engaging with people on a mass basis, at least. When there are loads of strands I find it super hard to keep up. I have however found something that works!

I am currently sat in my front room with Trainspotting on in the background as my flatmate is curled up under their blankets on the sofa, it's 2pm. This is what stagnation feels like. I need to get back on my feet.

I may record some videos today, or something. Even if it's not much I much prefer putting little bits of stuff out there even if it isn't finely tuned, as opposed to waiting ages to put one amazing thing out. This is partially due to my laziness though, and my attention span struggles with larger video projects due to my improivisational on-the-spot style in which I create (there is only so much I can dance around a topic before I run out of steam) but it's certainly something that I will do one day to see what I can come up with.

6th of January, 2018.

Started periodically watching Narcos over the past few days, don't know why it has taken me this long. It's amazing. If you haven't watched it do so, you won't regret it. Only if you like watching subtitled things though as it is in Spanish quite a lot, but I really like that. It'd be really strange if it was in English. It'd be a bit like watching a film based in Russia but everyone spoke English (See: every western film based in Russia almost ever) As I touched apon yesterday, I am staying in County Offally in Ireland. It's beautiful here (See the Instagram picture I uploaded earlier today). A good friend of mine's family happen to stay in an old Georgian era house with horses and everything (I have been told they mainly stay outside, though) There is something particularly wonderful about the height of my laziness, I was sat in a farmhouse playing Stardew Valley. I could have done actual farm stuff (see: looked at some horses, walked through mud, no one in their right mind would let me do actual farm things) I am writing this infront of a fireplace whilst Narco's is on in the background. It's rather nice. There is one big complaint I have about Ireland though. Here, Terry's Chocolate Orange's are five euro.

Five. Euro. To give an example, once, last year, I could buy them in poundland. they were a pound. That's 1.13 Euro at the time of writing this. Putting import tax aside, what has Terry done to the Irish to justify this almost 5x increase in price. Terry has some shady shit going down, I am calling it now. The Irish are on to something. Watch this space.

I am really pushing the daily in 'daily' blog out there, aren't I? All the same, I am currently just outside Birr in Ireland in a lovely ol' house with super, super limited internet, I just so happen to be in this room so I thought I'd make good use of it for now, as I sit here on WordPad and attempt to write something (have you ever tried to write using the Tumblr thing directly? It can't even keep up. It sucks.) I have never been to Ireland before, despite wanting to come here for a while. It's lovely here. It seems quiet unique in that pretty much 50% of the population live within an hour of Dublin and everyone else is just kinda scattered around. Did you know there is something older than the pyramids in Ireland? (Not the feud between the Protestants and the Catholics) - there is a place called Newgrange. Older than the pyramids. Crazy ini'? I thought so. It's a hill made of stone you can go inside. There's graffiti from the early 1800's. Absolutely mental. They also have crisps called Tatos (sp?) which rule, and have more history in one tiny part of the country (and care about it) as opposed to their history being mainly colonial atrocities. (Looking at you England) There's more to Ireland I am sure, these are the bits I can think of in my sleepy state.
