My point remains that it's not abusive. Does Komaeda act like a dick to Hinata at some point? Yes, but so do half the sdr2 characters.
Half the SDR2 characters don’t profess to be in love with him. And even if they were jerks, it still would not excuse his behavior. Other people being jerks does not excuse someone else being a jerk.
Also, Nagito didn’t just “act like a dick”. He tormented Hajime. He found out that Hajime wasn’t as special as he thought, and he turned on him. He used the knowledge of his Reserve Course status to hurt him. He mocked and needled him until Hajime, who sassed back to people all game, who didn’t take crap from anyone, was speechless.
Nagito: Jeez, get it together. You’re supposed to be the symbols of hope, aren’t you? Oh…except for Hinata-kun, of course.
Nagito: It might be possible for Hinata-kun to solve it too, even though he’s just a simple high-school student. Even though you don’t have any real talent, you already found out about the other clue.
That’s just a few of the things he says.
I’m not telling you not to ship it. But Nagito’s behavior towards Hajime here was very toxic, very harmful, and very wrong.
