I was tagged in this first sim makeover challenge by the ever lovely @jadeplumbob, and here’s my contribution!
Unfortunately, I don’t have my earliest sims readily available anymore; I switched computers about a year ago.
This is the first original sim I made since then though. Her name is Max Card, and I have zero memory of what I was planning to do with her. I definitely was rooting for an edgier sim, but I didn’t go very hard, lol. I don’t think my style has changed a huge amount, but she’s less cute and is less of a victim of the same face syndrome I had.

WILLOW CREEK - OPHELIA VILLA
The Goths deserved a redesign more than just about anyone, I think. I tried to keep to a classic Victorian style and filled the house to the brim with little nooks and crannies to discover. You’ll likely see some of them in my gameplay!
Another big addition was bringing back their cemetery. I just love the aesthetic of it too much to let go of.

WILLOW CREEK - THE GOTHS
The Goths are an aristocratic family with a dreary aura. Between Mortimer writing macabre stories and Bella's mysterious disappearances will Cassandra and Alexander grow up to be gloomy, too?

I honestly didn’t have much to change with the Goths in terms of aesthetic. I really like their concept, and I mostly just tried to flesh it out using items we’ve gotten since. I kept Bella’s easy and glamorous vibe. I made sure to keep Cassandra’s pigtails (thanks you to the ever talented @naevys-sims!) and gave her a more reserved look I could imagine on an orchestra stage.
I’ll try to post their home by tomorrow.
I’m thinking about adding a cat or two to their household, and I’ll be sure to put them up for download when I do.

OASIS SPRINGS - SULTRY SPRINGSIDE
Rebuilding this house for the Caliente family was more fun than I expected. While I try not to completely bulldoze houses, I thought that this lot could use a fresh start.
In order, the bedrooms belong to Katrina, Nina, and Dina. The main house belongs to the girls, but part of the first floor is split off into a condo for Don. I’d like to think he moved in before he and Katrina got, er, involved. Now, he rarely pays rent, and is able to sneak other sims through his own front door.
Let me know what you think! Next up are the Goths, and I’ll post their new home after their makeovers. I’m still looking for suggestions for what comes next!
